January 31, 2025: iLEAD proudly celebrated the 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025, with the theme “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas” (Golden India: Legacy and Progress). The theme reflected India's vibrant cultural heritage and the nation’s stride toward a brighter, progressive future.

October 17, 2024: The NSS Unit of iLEAD joined hands with the Arts and Design Club under the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' initiative to host a unique Best Out of Waste event on the occasion 55th NSS Day. Students from various departments showcased their creativity by turning discarded materials into beautiful, sustainable pieces of art. This initiative highlighted the importance of upcycling and sustainability in everyday life, inspiring us all to rethink and reuse waste materials.
Hackathon organized by iLead
October 17, 2024: iLEAD successfully organised its first-ever Hackathon, by the School of Science & Technology in collaboration with our Gaming and Tech Club and Event Club. The engaging event was held in association with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (AICTE, G20 India 2023, Smart India Hackathon), and showcased the brilliant talents of 13 teams who coded their way to success. With this milestone, iLEAD is proud to continue shaping tomorrow’s leaders and innovators in the tech space.
The event was graced by Mr. Somnath Yadav, Senior HR BP and Part of the Talent Acquisition Group of TCS. A total of 13 groups participated in the event and 3 groups were selected as the winners. Apr 8, 2024: iLEAD hosted a placement drive by LenDen Club, India's largest alternate investment platform, at the Dale Carnegie Auditorium on March 11th, 2024. Founded in 2015, LenDen Club has rapidly grown to become one of the country's fastest-growing peer-to-peer lending platforms. The recruitment drive targeted students from iLEAD School of Business, as well as other renowned institutions in Kolkata such as NSHM and B.P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology. Notably, four BBA students from iLEAD—Soham Banerjee, Tanmoy Sen, Poulami Banerjee, and Anushka Banerjee—were selected with a Rs 4 lakhs CTC package.
iLEAD Academy Inaugurates Executive Education Division with Grand Ceremony, January 4th, 2024
Apr 8, 2024: The much-anticipated iLEAD Academy, an executive education division of the renowned Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, And Development (iLEAD), was inaugurated with a grand ceremony at the iLEAD Campus in Kolkata. The academy aims to empower lifelong learners in sectors such as hospitality, lifestyle, tourism, and more, offering curated courses in association with esteemed industry partners. The inauguration featured the launch of five professional diploma courses and panel discussions led by distinguished dignitaries from relevant fields. Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed between iLEAD Academy and industry partners, followed by a press conference addressing questions from the audience and the press. Cosmos Events Hosts Successful Internship and Placement Drive at iLEAD Campus, December 7th, 2023
Apr 8, 2024: Cosmos Events, a Kolkata-based event management company established in 2006, organized an internship and placement drive at the iLEAD campus. The event aimed to recruit students from B.Sc and M.Sc programs in Media Science. Cosmos Events specializes in arranging various events, including Pharma Events, Launch Events, Seminars, and Conferences, and provides Pan-India support through strategic tie-ups and channel partners in metro cities and other locations.

Placements: Last batch got 90% placements in top companies like Apollo, Ruby, and others. The highest package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Apollo, Ruby, ESI, Cognizant. 100% of students got internships in companies like Cognizant and Apollo. HR, TL, Executive Manager, etc.
Placements: As I just only know about the Animation department, the average package is 3,60,000 PA and average placement is about 90%, according to the official records of the college, which I got from the college itself. I've been in touch with a senior and they also confirmed that the placement is quite well.
Placements: Placements in Lead are not that great or helpful. However, if you get a placement in the lead, that is not up to the mark of justifying your feeling paid at the time of admission. The starting salary of most job placements from here is around $10,000 per month, at least.
Placements: Many students are placed in different companies. Apart from them, some also started their own firms. Placements were done keeping in mind the talent and the skills of the students. Other than that, options of many internships are provided where the students get to learn a lot.
Placements: Like every college, this college does not give as much practical experience and internships that this college provides. The placement cell is top-notch. Big companies like TCS, PS Group, Adani Group, and Capgemini come to the college for placements and internships.
Placements: In the BBA in Digital Marketing course, the average package offered to this year's graduates was 4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Airtel, Jio, and Reliance frequently visit the college for placements. Students rarely opt for internships provided by the college, as internships are now easily available through various applications.
