IICD Syllabus 2024 - The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design didn't specify any specific syllabus for the IICD entrance exam. So, the candidate had to rely on previous years' question papers to prepare for the exam.
Note that the IICD 2024 written exam, portfolio, and personal interview round will evaluate various skills in the candidate, including visualization, general awareness, observation, and estimation abilities of the candidate. The IICD 2024 exam was conducted on April 16, 2023.
The IICD 2024 exam will have two mandatory parts: 1) Part A - General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test; the test be held from 10 am-12 noon, 2) Part B has two components: a) Material, Color & Conceptual Test, will be conducted from 1-3 pm, followed by the b) Personal Interview (from 3 pm onward).

IICD 2025 Exam Pattern
The IICD 2025 exam will have three components - Written Test, Portfolio, and Personal Interview.
The weightage for each round of the IICD exam is mentioned in the table below:

Note: A portfolio can include any piece of creative work done by a candidate such as sketching, painting, embroidery, photography, writing, and material work. Showing a portfolio to the interview panel would help them understand a candidate's capabilities, informs the official website.
The personal interview round will be conducted in online mode. In the interview, the panel will evaluate the individual personalities of candidates along with the following attributes:

The IICD 2025 entrance exam has the following components:

The IICD 2025 entrance exam will be conducted by January 25, 2025. The exam will have three parts - Part A - General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test and, Part B – a. Material, Color & Conceptual Test, b. Personal Interview, and C. Personal Interview.
The results of the IICD 2025 exam will be declared on February 21, 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the exam are eligible for admission and need to subnmit the semester fees online.

If the candidate doesn’t accept the seat allocated during IICD 2025 counseling process, the seat will be canceled.
