The admission requirements for an MBA at IIFT Kolkata are as stated below: -

Here are some of the scholarships available for MBA students:

1. Need Based Scholarship Scheme: Under this scheme, IIFT pays interest subsidy on educational loans for 27 months from the time the loan is taken from a bank. Students of the MBA (IB) full-time programme who have taken the loan and whose family income is less than INR 6.00 Lacs per year can apply under this scholarship.
2. New Scholarship Scheme (NSS): This scholarship covers ten percent of students with a scholarship amounting to twenty percent (20%) of the tuition fee in all “Full-Time/Regular” batches of the degree courses offered by IIFT. The scholarship will be given to 10% of the students admitted in the regular programs. The scholarship amount will be 20% of the Tuition fee for all. The criteria would be a “means-cum-merit” basis with 70% weightage to means and 30% weightage to merit i.e. total CGPA scored after completion of the program. It will be granted to those students who complete their full-time programme from IIFT and whose family income from all sources is less than INR 8 Lacs per annum. The upper ceiling of INR 8 Lacs is subject to revision. The scholarship will be disbursed to the students after the successful completion of the programme i.e. MBA (IB), MBA (BA), and MA (Eco.). IPM students will get the scholarship after completing their BBA and MBA. If the amount of the scholarship is less, then the balance amount will be payable.

IIFT Kolkata application process is carried out in online mode. Candidates are required to complete the application form and submit it within the due date or else it is considered as incomplete. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. Further, the steps to apply are:

1. Visit the official website of NTA i.e to apply online for IIFT admission 2023.
2. Login and fill out the online application form as per the details given in the Information Bulletin of IIFT programmes.
3. Upload picture, signature and certificates and pay the application fee to complete the application process.
4. Pay the exam application fee and hit the 'Submit' button.

The minimum cutoff for MBA at IIFT Kolkata varies from year to year and is determined by the student's category. The general category cutoff for IIFT Kolkata for the 2022 admission cycle was 42.6 in CAT. However, the expected cutoff for the 2023 exam cycle is between 115 and 120 out of a total of 300. The total fee for MBA in International Business at IIFT Kolkata is INR 20.97 lakh. This fee is inclusive of components, namely tuition, library, internet, medical insurance, course material, hostel charges (for double occupancy, boarding charges, students and alumni activity. The students of SC, ST and PWD categories are given 50% concession in the tuition fee. If the student opts for single or triple occupancy accommodation, the aforementioned fee will vary.
