The condition of the college is getting better every year.
Placements: Currently the placement percentage is about 89% and is increasing from past years. The highest package is about 44 LPA (on-campus placement). The lowest package is around 4.3 LPA. The average and median salaries are 10.7 LPA and 9 LPA, respectively. Many top recruiters are coming to this college and are increasing every year, like Jio, Goldman Sachs, MAQ Software, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Many of the students have done there internship in good companies like IISC Bangalore, Goldman Sachs, Hyperverge, Unico, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at IIIT Kalyani is good. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. Each and every classroom is cleaned every day. The Wi-Fi is available all day and with good speed. Recently, 5G Labs have also been setup in the college. The library is a very good place to study in the college at free time. There is availability of most of the books that are needed and also more than that.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in the college. They will help you with the doubts in an interactive way. If you are interested in doing any projects, they will help you out in that. The teachers are highly qualified. Almost every faculty has done there Ph.D. from well-known IITs. The course makes a student ready for the industry. The semester exams are not so hard. The pass percentage is almost 100%.
Other: This course built up the base for Computer Science Engineering. To cheer the students up, the student body of the college is always up to organise some events.

Really awesome college and you can go for this .
Placements: In CSE, almost 85% of students have been placed. In ECE, no batch has passed out till now because the first batch will pass in 2025. The highest package is 26 lakh on campus but off-campus it will be around 50 lakh. The average package is 12.76 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Yellow Class, Jio, Amazon, and Qualcomm. 40% of students got internships. The top roles offered are Flutter Developer, SDE, and AIML.
Infrastructure: In the current semester, we didn't have our own campus; IIIT Kalyani is running on Webel. All the facilities, like Wi-Fi, a canteen, a classroom, a projector, and a library, are available and the hostel is also good. The food quality is above average and may be in January that we get our hostel in our main campus. The food quality is good and in sports, we have cricket, football, table tennis, swimming and many more. The college has a tie-up with Kalyani Stadium.
Faculty: All the facilities are very helpful and knowledgeable; they have published many research papers and we also made a research paper about the course curriculum that was at least 80% helpful in industry. The paper will be slightly tough because faculty want us to study so we can learn something and almost 95 percent of students will pass the exam .
Other: The best thing about the course is that the faculty is really teaching well, so we can learn and view the value of the course. Maybe CSE is better than ECE. We are hosting the largest hackathon in the West at our college, status code 1, which is sponsored by MLH. You can visit our website at statuscode1.ac.in. Also, in cultural events, we conduct many events, but Anukriti is the biggest cultural event in our college. No scholarship will be given by the college .

Try for other colleges first, if you don’t get in and have no other option, only then come here.
Placements: We are just the second batch of ECE, so no placements have started yet. The highest package this year was 44 LPA. Top recruiting company is Motive. Internships depend upon the skills of the students.Top role offered is that of SDE. The lowest package offered is 5 LPA. A lot of other companies used to visit earlier to recruit the students, but now it has reduced. Placements cell is weak as of now due to lack of a dedicated placements coordinating head. A lot needs to be improved.
Infrastructure: We do not have our own campus, the college functions in a small building. Hostel conditions are very unhealthy and hazardous. Library is small with limited books. Labs and classrooms are limited. Food quality in the mess is very poor. Electricity and other facilities are also poor. Hostel is located in dangerous area surrounded by reptiles, worms and other harmful creatures. There is no campus life here at all. Just come here to study and get a degree. Cleanliness in the hostels is not very good.
Faculty: Top notch faculty, quality exams with good resources are available in the college. Teachers are very helpful and give a good guidance to the students. They themselves are among the world's top scientists and are very good at heart. The course is very well structured covering relevant technologies like ML to make the students industry ready.
Other: I chose this course due to the high placements it provided previously. Best thing about the course is that it is well structured. A lot of things could be improved in this course, like more practical subjects could be included. Events were conducted less earlier, but now ample of events are organized in the college. The events are not of a very high quality but they are trying to raise the bar.

The best placements and infrastructure are available at this college.
Placements: IIIT Kalyani offers multiple placements opportunities to the students. In the CSE, around 50–60% of the students get placements at our college. average package offered at the college was between 5-7 LPA. The top recruiters at the college were Infosys, Mc Kinsey, IBM, Walmart, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. top roles offered were software developers, web developers, data scientists, etc.
Infrastructure: IIIT Kalyani has an excellent infrastructure for the CSE course. Top-quality facilities are available on the college campus for students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, sports, medical, etc. for the students on the college campus. Multiple sports facilities were available for the students. The hostel facilities and food in the mess were good to eat.
Faculty: IIIT Kalyani had the best-quality faculty. Both the guest and permanent faculty were available at this college. All the professors at the college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching was good. The course curriculum of the college was relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were not hard to pass. The faculty was giving proper placements and internship training to the students. Various hackathons and other activities were organised for the students development.

Review of Indian Institute of Information Technology by Shivansh.
Placements: My course is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and there are around 74 students per section. Around 90 percent of the students got placed this year, with recruiters like Amazon, Infosys, and Jio. The highest package for CSE is 47 LPA, and the average package is around 13 LPA. Many internships are provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The permanent campus of IIIT Kalyani is under construction, so the college is held in a temporary campus. The hostel facilities are not good enough, the mess is not hygienic, and the sport facilities are provided by the college in coordination with the local stadium.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified according to their expertise, and they are supportive in nature. The exam level is moderate to difficult, and almost 90 percent of the students pass the course curriculum. Computer Science curriculum is good and based on real-life problems.
Other: In IIIT Kalyani, there is one annual event called Anukriti. The event is good but there isn't any annual fest held by the college. The hostel provided by the college is too basic, and the food is not good for health. They do not maintain perfect hygiene.

Only take admission in this college if you want the IIIT tag.
Placements: There are campus drives being conducted where companies recruit. I don't have any idea of what companies will visit yet as the drive in our college hasn't started yet. Last year, the number of students placed on campus was around 50 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to try off-campus placement. The highest package was around 30 LPA and the average was around 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities here are very poor; everything is so scattered. There is no permanent campus, and even after coming here, everyone is saying the campus will not be allotted for now. The hostel facilities are not well managed. We have a fully air-conditioned building, and we play sports in Kalyani stadium, such as swimming, cricket, football, and indoor games too. Our library has all types of books related to the courses.
Faculty: The faculty members are all very nice and rounded people. You will get proper guidance if you reach out. What I liked the most is Admit Ranjan Sir and Uma Das Mam. They are very knowledgeable in their own field and also help us with things other than academics.
Other: The curriculum courses are nice as we don't have to study core subjects like Chemistry and Architecture that are not related to our field. I would say we need more technical subjects rather than core subjects, so I hope they improve on that part as there have been some talks about adding more such courses, for example, Quantum Computing. There are two exams in a semester: one is mid-sem and the other is end-sem. Professors also conduct class tests from time to time.
