Reasons why you should come to IIIT VADODARA.
Placements: The placements in our college are quite okay. They are not like that of top NITs and IIITs, but are still okay. The average package offered here is 14 lacs which is considerably good for a college of national importance. Students are also getting campus internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The best part about our college which makes it different from the other IIITs is it’s hostel and academic infrastructure. Being newly established, the hostel rooms and its furnitures are completely well maintained and are in a good condition. Also, there are water coolers at each floor which is a convenience for all the students.
Faculty: The course curriculum and other academics are quite similar to the other IIITs regarding the syllabus and the exam pattern. The faculty here is not top notch, but they are above average. They do not just perform their bare minimum job. Most of the teachers are interactive here.
Other: I would like to mention that the mess food is the worst thing about our college. You will be frustrated seeing the food quality here.

A newly built Campus with lots of opportunities.
Placements: It's a newly built campus and being a satellite campus of IIIT Vadodara, the placement cell of both institutes is same. With total 85 companies visited for placement drive of 2021-22, the average salary package of IIIT Vadodara is 14 LPA with 100% Placements. The highest off-campus placements is 1.8 Crore per Annum. That's why this institute holds no risk of bad placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good with having all facilities and 24x7 Wi-Fi Facility in academic block with no restrictions. You can use classrooms also for studies till midnight. There are 2 huge libraries in campus. Hostels are well - setup with all the facilities and the rooms as compared to other IIIT's are very nice. Currently there is only one branch (CSE), but may be in future you may SEE other branches too. The mess is currently managed by a private body (Jaiswal Canteens) and quality of food is awesome compared to other institutes.
Faculty: The supporting staff are very helpful and if you find any difficulty during any academic related issues, you can freely reach them out in midnight also. Most of the teaching staff are from IIIT Vadodara while some others are from other NIT's and IIT's too having experience ranging 10-30 Years. All the faculty members have done Ph.D. in their respective Domain. The curriculum is as same as IIIT Vadodara which is already well-designed and industry-ready.
Other: Committees and clubs keep organizing the new events, quizzes, competitions and various interactive workshops and sessions like Blitz Chess tournament, EBSB Quiz, Kaala Kaushal, Code-o-fiesta, etc. There are some other events and competitions also like Treasure Hunt and Freshers party. All these events, tournaments and sessions provides lots of learning and fun. Campus is 2.5 km away from airport providing good connectivity.

Our college is newly built satellite campus which is awesome for campus life.
Placements: This institute holds no risk of bad placements as the placement cell of IIIT Vadodara and IIIT Vadodara International Campus Diu are the same. Companies like MathWorks are coming for internships. Placements are 100% with the highest off-campus placements being 1.8 crore per annum. Companies like Amazon, Adobe, Siemens, and ICICI Bank are common visitors for recruiting students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch. Campus is endowed with Wi-Fi 24x7 and classrooms are open for studies. Library, canteen, and other facilities are perfectly taken care. Food in mess is awesome. There is a mess committee to decide the menu for the mess, and the chefs make delicious food. There are major sports facilities and sports equipment. There is football, cricket ground, basketball court, lawn tennis, table tennis, and much more. There is a government sports academy nearby which has all other facilities such as a gym and swimming pool. There is a canteen which runs 24x7 inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty are from IIIT Vadodara. The curriculum is the same for IIITs. Teachers give enough time to study and prepare for end-semester exams. The curriculum is an imbalance of time. The course is completed fast and destroys the flow of study.
Other: All the committees work day and night. The best event was the freshers party which was composed of party games and other such party stuff. Campus people are very helpful. Connectivity is fine. Campus is 2.5 km away from the airport. Campus is surrounded by open ground which spreads wide and long. Diu is a city famous for its beaches and material natural beauties.

Our college provides good placements, hostel, and infrastructure but it is costly.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The average salary package in 2020 was more than 13 LPA and the highest salary package offered was about 43 LPA. The salary package offered in 2021 is nearly about the same as the year 2020. Almost 100% of the interested students got placed both years from CSE and IT branches. Top more than 30 companies visited the institute with more than 4 international companies.
Infrastructure: Hostel premises are very good but costly. Rajlabdhi Society is the current hostel for IIITV. There are flats of 2 BHK for 5 persons and 3 BHK for 7 persons available for students. Mess is joined with a hostel around 100 m at the backside. Girls have one completely different building in the same society with proper guard and protection. The hostel does not have Wi-Fi facility. You have to arrange on your own.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very supportive. All the faculty members have Ph.Ds in their domain. Our curriculum is updated and has been added to recent fields of development. There is no need to study subjects like chemistry, etc. All the courses are relevant to CS and IT fields.
Other: IIITV has big events of Krieva (Cultural), Cerebro (Technical), and Alfaaz (literature) fest annually. Institute and hostel distance is around 16 km and students have to go via bus provided by the institute by paying fees for it. All courses are interdependent and helpful to improve skills and knowledge in the technical and software field.

It has good facilities, excellent placements in 2020, good faculty and located in a beautiful place.
Placements: I am a student of IIIT Vadodara International Diu Campus. As you know that it is a newly built campus, this is the very first year of this campus. So the first batch will pass out in 2024. However, the placement cell of IIIT Vadodara and our campus is the same, so the placements for our campus will be conducted highly in future with IIIT Vadodara. In 2019-2020, there are 100% placement records with the highest salary package of 43.5 LPA and the average salary package of 13 LPA. Amazon, MathWorks, ICICI Bank, Siemens and Adobe are top companies which visit here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also good here, and many facilities are available here. There are two huge libraries and a good Wi-Fi facility on the campus. Classrooms and labs are designed very well. This is a new IIIT, so there is only one branch (CSE), but in future, you can see more branches. But until now, the college was not open due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so I don't have information about gymkhana, canteen, mess and hostels. I visited there with my friend to see the campus.
Faculty: Teachers and supporting staff members here are very helpful. If you find any difficulty to understand the course and other things, you can freely ask them. Teachers are well knowledgeable and experienced. The course curriculum is very well designed and helpful to make students industry-ready. The course curriculum is the same for both campuses.
Other: I chose this course because it is a part of IIIT Vadodara, which is a well-known institute. This is the very first year of this campus, so events and fests are organised by the seniors of IIIT Vadodara.
