A: 

Admission to postgraduate Diploma programmes is determined by merit, taking into account a candidate's performance in the entrance exam or the marks they received in the qualifying degree examination. The fundamental requirements for qualifying are that students must have graduated from a university approved by the UGC with a minimum aggregate grade of 45–50% for the unreserved category and 40–45% for the reserved category, however specific institution requirements may also apply with variation. Although there are no set CUET passing scores, in order to be considered for admission, a candidate must receive a minimum score of 300–400.
