B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.6
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good college, best faculty members.
Placements: Placements are on average. Around 50-70% of students get placed who sit in the placement round. As per my knowledge, the highest package is 10 LPA. The lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Accenture, and Wipro come for campus placement. As per government norms, completing 3 internships is compulsory during the course period. Here, students have to visit companies for internships. There is a very low chance of getting an internship from the college to a company. But the college provides various courses which can be submitted as internships and follows government norms.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It includes Wi-Fi, ATM, Labs, AC classrooms, Library, Hostel for boys and girls, Canteen, Mess, Tea Post, Nescafe. I am not staying in the hostel, but my friends are staying, so, as per them, the food quality is good. For sports, there is a ground where students can play games like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The curriculum or the course is similar to the government college's course. The faculty members are so helpful and highly qualified. And the qualification data are published on the university's website. As per me, the teaching quality is good. In the course curriculum, it includes studying theory with practicals. So, it makes students industry-ready. But for this, students have to practice also on their own. The semester exams are easy to pass if you have studied well. Most of the students pass out the exams. The pass percentage is around 70-90% of the class.
Other: I have chosen this code from the reference of my brother and family members. And as per the new era demand, this course is going to high, it is also another reason. The university organizes many events, fests, etc. As per my knowledge, there are no scholarships offered by the university. But if you are the president of Gujarat, you can get government scholarships like MYSY, CMSS, or Digital Gujarat Scholarship.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019
3.2
1Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good campus, amazing crowd & celebration. No placement, few scholarships & changing faculty members.
Placements: In terms of job offers in my field i.e. civil engineering, Indus is not so successful. In my batch, barely 2 students out of the batch of 150 are placed in civil engineering. The previous batches had also face difficulties in searching jobs and had very low placement rate. They don't provide you with any field related/technical jobs, although marketing related jobs with a good package do come for B.Tech graduates. The placement cell is there which is really active. Placement rate for some engineering fields like computer, IT, EC is good for year 2019 But for the domains like Civil, Automobiles and Mechanical is extremely low.
Infrastructure: The university provides you with basketball court, football ground, Library, Auditorium, Mechanical workshop, Canteen and laboratories. Majorly two buildings are there in which all the classes and labs are included. The entrance of the main building will amaze you with a yellow plane hanging with it's ceiling. The campus is green and clean and aesthetics of the building will put you in awe. Furthermore, construction of a building inside the campus is at hold which affects the infrastructure. University has a good campus except there is mud and drainage problem during monsoons. Classrooms and labs are very spacious and desks are comfortable. University also has different hostel for girls and boys. Although there is not separate facility for faculty members to stay. The washrooms and mess are good. There are 2 canteens one of which is Tea post. Both serves average quality of food and beverages.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Major teaching is done on the chalk board while the projector is also available for presentations and videos. Despite the knowledge not every faculty is good at teaching. And faculty members do not last. There are very less faculty members and some of them leave the job in between the year. Talking about the curriculum, it was slightly different than other GTU based universities. We were taken for site visits but it was barely 2 visits per year. The sites were very informative and every visit was scheduled for a day and within/near Ahmedabad.
Other: Events and college fest are the great memories of college life and like the other colleges, Indus also have a week long cultural and sports week. Many competitions and events are organized in this week and there are no lectures are scheduled for this whole week. There's EDM night organized and Fashion show at the end of this week. Despite this there are many workshops and festivals organized through out the year. College is in outskirts of Ahmedabad and probably there are no good hotels, stationary or hospitals around. One has to ride 1-2km to go out of village. Amts bus and auto rickshaws are available for the transport but Uber and taxi does not available.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2017
1.8

Dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: The placements were a rare phenomenon into this college. Most of our seniors didn't get placed and the story was same for our batch. Most of the opportunities that we got was from pool campus placements. Also, the company also encouraged students to apply for sales role in companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college was okay. I cannot talk about hostel facilities since I was not a part of it. But the food offered at the mess was really bad, sort of inedible. Infrastructure for sports purpose was quite inept. Even the single ground they had wasn't maintained properly.
Faculty: The course curriculum was not up to the mark according to the industrial standards. Many of my friends which took up further training courses conveyed me the same. The practical concepts wasn't the focused enough upon. Barring a few faculty members, most of our faculty members did not encourage doubt and learning beyond classroom. There was too much focus on assignments.
Other: The events and fests were very rare. The authority mostly discouraged such things and budget allocation for the same was really small. Also, there was no Wi-Fi.
