B.Sc. at Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) Worth the Investment?

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of whether B.Sc. at IEHE is worth the investment:

    Placement and Salary Packages:
    * Only a limited number of students get placed, typically around 20-30%.
    * The highest salary package offered is approximately INR6 LPA, while the lowest is around INR2 LPA.
    * Most placements are for B.Com students, with fewer opportunities for B.Sc. students.
    * A few students get internships, although the quality and quantity vary.

    Infrastructure and Facilities:
    * The college has a decent infrastructure, with a library containing over 1,000 books and Wi-Fi availability.
    * However, the hostel facilities may require improvement, with restrictions on movement and average food quality.
    * Sports facilities are available, including a playground and sports complex.

    Teaching Quality and Course Curriculum:
    * Some teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, while others may lack experience and pedagogical skills.
    * The course curriculum is generally relevant, although some students feel that it does not adequately prepare them for industry requirements.
    * Semester exams are relatively easy to pass, with a high pass percentage.

    Overall Assessment:
While IEHE may not excel in terms of placements and salary packages, it seems to have adequate infrastructure and facilities. The teaching quality varies, and the course curriculum could benefit from improvements. Ultimately, the decision to invest in a B.Sc. at IEHE depends on individual priorities and expectations.

    Recommendation:
For those interested in pursuing a B.Sc. at IEHE, consider weighing the pros and cons carefully. While the college may not offer top-tier placement opportunities, it provides a solid foundation in the chosen subject. Additionally, exploring alternative paths, such as further education or entrepreneurial endeavors, might be viable options.

Everything is amazing including infrastructure, activities, fest, sports, and facilities.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed and get various other opportunities too. Some of the known people are placed at various forensic labs and get a good amount of salary. Internships are also provided by the college in various companies and forensic labs.
Infrastructure: We have different buildings for different cources. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the college. And we have a huge library in college which consists of various books for various courses. College also provide books and e-library. Washrooms, common rooms and hostels are clean and are well maintained. Hostels are in college premises so it is very safe as well as convenient. We have 2 canteens in our college which serve hygienic, tasty and variety of food. College is semi government so it provide various sports equipments and also encourage students to participate in various tournaments. Our college also organizes various tournaments often.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledge and have a great knowledge of the subject they are teaching. They are highly qualified and experienced. The college also takes us for on field trips and exceptions which helps us industry ready and also helps us to understand the concepts clearly. The exams are not that difficult as per my perspective because the teachers helps us to study and train us to maintain our standards.
Other: I chose this subject because I am interested in murder mysteries. This is a vast and interesting field. Better instruments may improve this cource in our college. College provides many scholarships including mmvy, gao ki beti, and post metri. They also organize various academic and cultural fest. Exceptions and games tournaments are also often organized by the authorities.

    Ecofriendly with friendly teachers.
Placements: The syllabus and faculty members are very accommodating, providing us with some of the best internship opportunities compared to other colleges. This helps seniors secure good packages and even gain admission to prestigious colleges for their Master's studies. Approximately 70% of students get good placements with high packages.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are good, and the infrastructure of the course is also nice. The syllabus is comfortable, starting with the basics. Medical facilities, sports, and the canteen are also well-managed. The hostels are nice, with good facilities.
Faculty: We are fully satisfied with the teachers, as they are knowledgeable about their subjects. Teachers are helpful, and we can ask any questions without hesitation. If you don’t study, you may fail, but the medium of instruction and the exam paper is also manageable.
Other: The events are well-organized and teach us many new things through games and activities. Progress is smooth, and the college management is effective.

Faculty is Awesome. Satisfactory Infrastructure and Facilities. Very Friendly Environment
Placements: Placement is not provided by our college. No recruiting companies come for our course, and if they do, the chances of placement are very low. Students find internships on their own; the college doesn't provide internships. Placements are offered to other courses in our college.
Infrastructure: One lab is available for forensic science. Wi-Fi is provided. Classrooms need renovation as they are very old. There is no auditorium. However, there is a sports complex with a volleyball ground, football ground, and an open gym. The library is good with plenty of seating space.
Faculty: Teachers are awesome. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and semester exams are not very tough. The level is moderate, with a pass percentage above 90. Overall, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Other: Forensic science is a very interesting subject. The best thing about this course is its practical relevance to our daily lives. Practical knowledge should be given, and field visits should be provided. There is one fest and a cultural event every year. Extracurricular activities are less motivated. Scholarships are provided.

My B.Sc. experience at the Institute for Excellence in Higher Studies.
Placements: The placement for B.Sc. in Chemistry is not good; the percentage of students placed is very low. The highest package was offered by Lupin worth 8 LPA (Lacs per annum), and the lowest was also offered by Lupin, worth 3.5 LPA. There are very few companies in recruitment for B.Sc. There is no internship opportunity provided by the college; students are on their own when it comes to internships, which is reflected in the percentage of students who secured internships; very few of our seniors got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite decent, neither good nor bad. The campus is lush green with all basic amenities, parking lots, and clean washrooms. A sports ground is also present within the campus. The Chemistry labs are well-equipped with all chemicals and apparatus available. Similarly, the computer labs are modern and up-to-date with high-speed Wi-Fi. The classrooms have decent, new furniture and projectors; all classrooms are smart classrooms but with old infrastructure. The library is present but not considered worthy for studying. Separate boys' and girls' hostels are inside the campus; the hostel fee is Rs. 25,000 per semester. The hostel buildings are comparatively good compared to other buildings on campus. Students are provided with double sharing and dorms in the hostel. Basic first aid is available in every building on campus. Sports facilities are notable; every sports facility is available including separate cricket, hockey, and football grounds, as well as badminton and volleyball courts. Sports events are common and held every 2-3 months.
Faculty: The faculty is okay; they are kind and knowledgeable but not motivated to give their 100 percent. They cover the entire syllabus but elaborate only when asked. The teachers are qualified and humble but do not effectively impart knowledge to students. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares us for the industry. The college committee reviews the syllabus annually and updates it accordingly. Examinations consist of three mid-semester tests each semester, with the best two counting towards the final grade. The combined score of these mid-semester exams is 40 marks, with the end-semester exam contributing 60 marks. The passing marks out of a hundred are 37, so it's not overly difficult to pass.
Other: The college offers various opportunities besides studies; sports are one of them. The sports facilities are excellent, and being an old government college, it holds prestige throughout M.P. Based on my 12th board percentage, this was the best option I had. Teacher-student interaction is something that could be improved. Various sports and cultural events like Bollywood day and cultural day occur in our college. The annual fest, "TARANG," is a four-day event full of fun and games, with various programs held under its banner. There is also a smaller youth fest compared to Tarang. Scholarships are available, with the most famous being The Medhavi Yojana, covering tuition and hostel fees for applicants by the government. Category scholarships like Mptaasc are also available for SC/ST and OBCs.

Good campus life and value for money education is given here.
Placements: Placement in college was not good in my time because of COVID, but now pretty good companies come to hire students, but it is up to you to get placement because you should groom your personality yourself. You should be fluent in spoken English. Many vocational courses are offered by the college at minimal cost, which is very helpful in our career.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our college is far better than many colleges. It has a lot of greenery and has two canteens, a sports campus, and a fully Wi-Fi enabled library. In our college, 75 percent attendance is mandatory; otherwise, you are not allowed to give the final exam.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and always ready to help students. Our college has a proper lab for practicals. Two days a week are allotted for practical, where you have to perform practical. Its internal assessment system is very good for the students for regular study.
Other: Many events and fest are organised often in our college. And our college's traditional day is just fantastic.
