IBSAR is a good college for all round development.
Placements: I'm currently studying in the first year of our college. So I don't know much about placement but as per my inquiry placements are average. Many students got internships and college is constantly working on improving their placement. The placement cell is very supportive.
Infrastructure: I didn't opt for a hostel so I can't comment on it. The infrastructure of our college is quite good well-equipped IT lab with AC classrooms, and Library. The canteen is okay you can eat once or twice a week but not regularly. The college is very clean and hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty is quite supportive. They support students in every situation and If you don't like any faculty you have the option to consult your coordinator. As far now they have treated all the students well and good. They emphasize an all-around development of candidates.

The college is not worthy enough of the money we pay.
Placements: The placements are not very good for BCA students. They provide good placements for MBA and BBA because this is a management institute. The highest package offered for BCA was around 6 LPA. I got an internship from college, and it was good to gain experience. Companies that came to our campus were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Birla etc. Internships depend on your performance in the interview.
Infrastructure: The college has very poor infrastructure, and I guess it is rented. The lift quality is worse. The hostel is very far from college, and it is the worst I have seen so far. The mess is good, and they provide good and tasty food. The price is Rs. 100 per plate.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good enough, but professors are changed frequently. The college conducts many sessions about personality development to make students industry-ready. Teachers are very helpful even outside the college.
Other: It is not value for money because of poor infrastructure and teaching quality. They don't provide study material on time. Events are good, but I don't participate in them.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2025

Absolutely mesmerised by the behaviour, teaching style and oneness from faculty.
Placements: I have to say approximately 60% - 70% of the students get placed in my course which is BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration). Depending on the field, the average package can be considered around INR 25000. Can say that the top recruiters for college are SBI Kotak Bank, Reliance etc.
Infrastructure: Our campus includes 2 computer labs, more than a dozen classrooms, a library and a table tennis room all equipped with functional air conditions to tackle the heat and provide comfort for students so maximum focus can be put on to learning and pinch of fun.
Faculty: Teachers are not only helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but humble, down to earth and naturally a mentor for students requesting their guidance. By far the best faculty at the college level bringing the feeling of both professionalism and homeliness altogether. Splendid!

I took the best decision to join this college in my life.
Placements: During our tenure, placements were decent in our college, and every student of our batch is doing well today. It's a misconception that if you are in a top college, you will get placed. The number of placement offers provided to you depends on your calibre. Even reputed companies visit our campus, but you couldn't qualify in their GD and PI, and you wouldn't get placed. A good number of companies are visiting this college year after year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average here, but I have had the best experience of my life in that college. IT lab is average in size but very helpful. The strength of the batches is less, so the size of the campus doesn't really matter here. Hostels are spacious and are semi-furnished apartments. The food served in the mess is better than the food served in most messes. There is an indoor sports room on the Navi Mumbai campus. Karjat campus is way more spacious with these facilities. Hostels during our tenure were excellent, and we three girls used to share a semi-furnished 2 BHK flat. That flat was our hostel, and it was well located in the market area.
Faculty: Our faculty members were extremely good and taught exceptionally well. They all were very well qualified and had high industrial and academic knowledge and experience. If I have actually enjoyed learning at some point in my life, then it is at this college only during 3 years of my BBA studies. Faculty members were very good here, that I cannot emphasise or thank them enough. All this was possible with the guidance of Mr. M L Monga sir.
Other: I chose to study BBA with a major in marketing after I met the faculty members at this college. I was hell-bent on studying business administration, and this was the college I focused on. Joining this college was the best decision I took in my life, and I made amazing friends who are like my family members today. This college is not huge like other colleges in Mumbai, but you will get a feeling like you are staying at home in this college. I had a lot of joy while studying in this college. I have thoroughly enjoyed every subject here, which I had never experienced before. Events are organised during festivals such as Navratri, freshers party, etc. The annual fest called Euphoria is an inter-college fest organised here well and is enjoyable. Overall, if you are planning to study business studies, then I would highly recommend this college. I am thankful to IBSAR for the three best years of my life.

It's a decent college in Navi Mumbai with an average campus, decent curriculum and good teachers.
Placements: Placements for BCA were adequate here, and about 30% of the students were placed either for jobs or internships. If you possess relevant skills only, then your chances of getting placed are high. Although the college will advertise that it provides 100% placements, but it is not true. Companies which visit here to recruit BBA and MBA students are more than the companies which visit here for BCA. Companies which visited here for BCA were IDBI Intech, Infogain and some small scale companies. The highest salary package offered was only around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our campus building is sprawled over three floors. Despite there is an average infrastructure, I enjoyed my time here quite a bit. There are spacious classrooms which are equipped with air-conditioners. But some of the classrooms have faulty air-conditioners also. The food served in the mess is not much extraordinary. I don't know about the hostel as I didn't reside in the hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers here were extremely helpful and well qualified enough to make things interesting. But very few teachers were bad at teaching the curriculum and had bad nature, which the management took care of later on. The course curriculum is not completely relevant. The course is structured by TMV, and it includes outdated technologies like VB.NET and ASP.NET, which are already non-existent in the industry since years. However, I suggest that no matter which college you choose, learn relevant and trending technologies on your own, be it from Coursera, Udemy or free videos on YouTube. You need to learn new technologies to be relevant, and I learnt this very hard in my second year.
Other: Our college organises an annual fest named Euphoria and a tech-fest named Cognizance very well. Students should definitely take part in activities.

Absolutely satisfied solely due to the quality of the faculty.
Placements: About 75% of the students were placed. The highest package was about 13 LPA, with average being 7-8 LPA. Companies like financial giants recruit from our college. About 100% of students got internship in our course with companies ranging from Reliance to L&T, etc.
Infrastructure: Clean and spacious rooms for lectures. Easy and fast Wi-Fi connections are available, covering the entirety of our campus. Computer labs with modern equipment make it fast as well as knowledgeable to learn. Every room in the college is equipped with air conditioning.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful, without any doubt. Highly qualified and skilled at their fields, with an immense amount of knowledge possessed by them (faculty). Teaching quality is exceptional and interactive. Only relevant subjects are taught in this course. Pass percentage is easily above 90% for students.
