Our department doesn't have a separate building or room.

Placements: For summer placement, students become eligible from the 1st term itself, and it keeps on running till every student gets placed. The eligibility of the candidate depends on the profile the firm is representing. Companies from various industries visit here for placements. So far, colleges have 100% records, and due to the quality of students, the situation will keep improving.

Review of Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras.

Placements: Students must score 60-80% to get placements. There is a lot of scope in these courses, such as in corporate securities, etc. Top roles offered are detective officer, documentation specialist, police, criminal advisory, criminal lawyer, cyber analyst, and fingerprint analyst.

It is the best college in all aspects.

Placements: Placements were great in our college. There were excellent roles in different domains like sales and marketing, product management, etc. Many recruiters along with the jobs were published on the institute website after the successful completion of the recruitment process. Almost 100% of students got placed in our course.

It is a good college for studying, but I am dissatisfied with the information inquiry team.

Placements: More than 75% of students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60000 per month, the average is Rs. 35000 per month, and the lowest is Rs. 18000 per month. Top roles offered are accountant, manager, entrepreneur, and trader.

Review of Madras University.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not provided at our university. Our college is just for a degree that is not of value. Practical exposure is not provided for students so they lack many skills which is the reason behind nil placements.

It is a good university for those who want a distant education.

Placements: All passed-out students are eligible for placements. As it is distance education, there are no internships for this course.

Absolutely satisfied with my college experience.

Placements: 40% of students placed in campus interviews till now. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest is Rs 3.5 LPA and the average is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, IBM, UGAM solutions, Accenture and many more. 20% of students get internships in small companies.

Very much satisfied with good education and knowledge provided by the college.

Placements: The college provides the best placements by bringing in many industries and firms for campus interviews. They help students to get placed in many big firms. The university takes classes for placement activities, so the student gets an idea about it. Many students got opportunities from these activities.

I am satisfied with the college, a great institution to enlighten your life.

Placements: Nearly 50 to 60% of the people were placed in the campus interview itself. More than 80% were placed outside and many people rejected the campus placements because of the low package. The highest package was something around 5 LPA and the lowest around 2.5 LPA.

Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed in all the university of madras and it's affiliated colleges and they get to start with a good firm and the top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, Xome. Top roles offered by the companies are Data Associate, Business Analyst, Financial Executive, Accounts Executive.

It is a very good place to study courses.

Placements: There were no placements offers. Students only need to find jobs by applying for interviews. The fee was Rs 25,000. There were no specific companies, students only needed to find jobs. Only 5-6% of students got scholarships. Professor job was the top role offered in this college.

Review of University of Madras, Institute of Distance Education.

Placements: The placements from this college are not much impressive as this is a distance education unit. Hence the salary packages offered are not good, and still, it can provide placements with a salary of about Rs. 20,000 per month. Many courses are provided by the college.

There is a really good infrastructure here.

Placements: I wrote first semester exams in correspondence in this college and got a good result. I am not totally sure about my classmates' results, but I think 98% of them got passed the first-semester exams. University of Madras has been a well-known college since 1857. I think just as per its reputation, most of the students got placed in good companies.

I am satisfied as a working person, and I completed the MBA.

Placements: There are no placements for distance education. No top companies visit here for recruiting. In the post-graduation course, you can easily get placed as mid-management in any company with respect to your experience.

It is the oldest and best known college for distance education.

Placements: Any student pursuing professional studies like CA, CMA, CS, etc., shall prefer taking admission through distance education and the University of Madras is the oldest and best known for distance education. But I believe the placements are above average. I got an internship through the university. The college offers internships at various mid-sized business firms. The salary packages offered to a student might depend on their merit and also the skills they possess.

I am dissatisfied because of the facilities provided.

Placements: I joined B.Com general in 2019 and will finish it by the year 2021. Nearly 60% of students get placed in the course. The salary packages offered ranges from Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 45,000 per month. Role offered is as an accountant. Meanwhile, some students also take CA, CMA, and CS courses.

This college is absolutely fine and has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: More than 1,500 students in our batch are from Chennai only, and more students are studying in Tamilnadu under Distance Education. So, it may lead to 4,000 students approximately. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is only Rs. 20,000 per month. Infosys is one of the top companies which provides campus placements in the University of Madras. It is one of the great places for pursuing post-graduation.

Placements: Placements are not applicable to the distance education courses. However, the college provides good placements for regular students of all branches in reputed organisations. Top companies have tie-ups with the college, and they offer a good salary package. Placements are also conducted by alumni members.

It is a great university to continue your education and have a bright future.

Placements: Since I chose distance education, I don't know anything about placements in the university. But the students from senior batches told me that they get good values and benefits for studying in this university. According to my knowledge, the highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 15,000 per month.

Placements: Placements were good in my college. I have got placed and am currently working. Thanks to my college. The placement cell people were more approachable and updated us the dates of any campus recruitment that happened in our college. Both off-campus and in-canpus drive are satisfactory.
