Review of Institute of Engineering and Management.

Placements: Placements for CSE and IT branches are good with an average salary package of 5 LPA. Nearly 80% of the students in the college were placed. Placements for other branches are not very high. Students are offered average placements with not very high salary packages. But, the college has a good placement cell which takes care of your placements with high regards.

A good college if education is the one and only priority.

Placements: The placements in IEM Kolkata are quite good. As Bengal is a growing industry, at least now, it isn't as good as some other places like Bangalore. So, industry exposure isn't that good when compared to the south region. Students from IEM get at least one job from the campus placement. For CSE, IT, and ECE branches, there are almost 100% placements. For core branches, IEM is doing good rapidly. Placement opportunities for the mechanical department have seen some major improvements in recent years...

The best private college in Eastern India.

Placements: This year, we had an awesome experience of placements. Almost 26 students got placed in TCS digital and other companies. Companies like EY, Value Labs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, EQ Technologies, Sankalp, TCS Ninja, and many other companies visited the campus for placements. Our placements season isn't over yet, and we are looking forward to a 100% placement rate like every year.

A review of Institute of Engineering and Management.

Placements: Placements for the students of marketing domain are good, whereas placements for the students of remaining specialisations are not up to that mark. Companies like PWC, Godrej, and Karvy etc., have visited our campus for placement drives. Majority of the roles offered were marketing oriented. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA.

IEM is a brand known for placements, though 100% placements is a myth.

Placements: Placement is the main motto of our institute. But the main problem is UEM is in the plot. UEM is IEM's own university. So definitely the management gives much more preference to the university. The placement scenario is not that good this year because UEM students are getting much more advantages than us. As a final year student, I can say 100% placements is a myth. There are no 100% placements. But the placement scenario is good when compared to many other private colleges.

Absolutely satisfied with our faculty members. The infrastructure is excellent.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty good. Almost 100% of the students were placed. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro visited the campus for recruitment. The salary package offered by all these companies ranges from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies which offer 7-8 LPA also visited the campus. Students get placed before the completion of their course.

A good college with proper infrastructure and helpful faculty.

Placements: Placements in IEM are always good and consistent for all the batches. Every student gets at least one job offer in MNCs. But like every other college, IEM also has the problem of not allowing the already placed students to sit for further placements.

A good engineering institute with good placements and faculty.

Placements: Placements for my batch are on-going currently. Almost 40% of my batch is placed till now. From my senior batch of 2018, almost 90% of the students were placed in good companies like TCS, Wipro, PWC, NRI Fintech, etc. The highest package offered last year was 40 LPA by Adobe, and the average package offered was 3.36 LPA. IEM has a good placement cell. They try to bring as many as companies as possible, but students have to get placed by showing their talent.

Don't take admission in this college.

Placements: The placements scenario in the college for core sector is not good. Some of the CSE and IT students got placed in IT industries with very low salary packages. If you want to be in the IT industry, then you can survive here. Otherwise, it is very tough to get placed through this institute.

IEM is the place to build your future.

Placements: Till now, IEM is considered as the best private engineering college in West Bengal in terms of placements. Placement drives are going on for the students of 2019 batch, and the placement record of the last year is very good. Last year, the highest package offered for the students was 44 LPA. The companies like TCS, CTC, Accenture, Adobe and Softlink are a few among our campus recruiters.

Absolutely satisfied with the college. Placements are good.

Placements: Placements of the college are quite good, and companies like TCS, CTS, etc., visit the college for placements to recruit more than half of the students from ECE stream. This year, 2-3 students from EC branch got placed in TCS and R&D, which is quite a good remark. Every year, 2-3 EC students and some IT students get placed in Sankalp Semiconductors.

Students can have a decent college life with excellent placement record.

Placements: The college has a great track record of placements in the reputed companies like TCS, CTS, Infy, and Ericsson. Roles offered were primarily of software development trainee. Few mechanical students managed to bag core jobs, regular aptitude training is provided, and industry seminars happen regularly.

Best private college in West India for studies.

Placements: IEM is good for placement and studies also. I got 2 job offers. One is TCS and another one in Wipro. SAP take maximum people from West zone in our college. Total 11 companies came for the interview like Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, CTS, Concentrix, etc. IEM give you free coaching for placement studies.

Good Education Good Future.

Placements: Placement were decent. Chances to get a job in core companies were less, as only one or two companies came and the intake was too less. Most of the students get one or more than one job mainly in IT sector. IT companies like CTS, Infy, Wipro are the major recruiters.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Every year, companies like Bajaj Capital, Capgemini, Concentrix, TCS, Wipro BPO, Metro Cash and Carry, and much more visit the campus to recruit students. Placement record in BBA is 85-90%, and the students are doing well in getting placements.

Placements: IEM provides 100% placement opportunities. The placements are quite good with packages more than 40 Lacs per annum to be given to a very few. Other than that no one in IEM except a very few goes unemployed. Good Education Good Jobs is the motto. Provides excellent placement in core companies.

Go only for the placements and nothing else.

Placements: Placements were above average. About 80% of students got placed in a company, which may or may not have been in the domain of their course. Average CTC was around 3.4 LPA. Some of the companies visiting the campus were CTS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc.

Placements: Placements were good as compared to the present market scenerio. Almost 80% of the eligible candidates in each stream were placed. Packages offered were average. Selection process was fair enough. The recruitment process mainly had the following scheduled processes: Aptitude round Technical interview HR interview.

Placements: Much better than other engineering colleges. Major MNCs like TCS, CTS etc. Have recruited students from all branches and disciplines. Wonderful placement training and support. The faculty members of the placement department are very helpful and willing to guide you in whatever way possible.

Really good placement. Fee is really very low.

Placements: College placement is very nice. Almost all students got placement in recent year. The avg. Package is about 4.5 lac/year. Two of the students in ECE dept (2012-2016 batch) got 15.5 lac/year (which is also the highest package till now). There is a placement cell in our college. Every department has its own placement head whose duty is to increase the potential of student so that they get place. The only problem is not many big companies come to this college, but core companies visit this college ...
