It is a good college because of its teachers, infrastructure, facilities, and placements.
Placements: Placements were good. Around 95% of students were placed in different cities of the states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andra Pradesh. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA. All the students were placed in internships from this college. They were not paying any stipend as students had an internship after completion of 1st year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. Classrooms were good. Canteen food was like home. Hostel rooms were average, and infrastructure wise I have not faced any problem.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and very helpful. They provide industry exposure for most of the subjects or they will arrange a session with different industry experts. Students and faculty members ratio were 30:1 for 1 subject. The course curriculum was helpful.

We have friendly faculty members and they will guide you in the best way.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students get placed in our senior batch. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The organisations which visited our college were Cerner, LV Prasad Eye Hospital, and Narayana Health. Stipend depends on the organisations chosen for internships. There is a useful placement cell.
Infrastructure: We have an average infrastructure with all the basic amenities, digital classrooms, affordable and best quality food in the canteen. The infrastructure problem I felt was the road in front of our college. The sports ground is very small. The location of the college is in a less accessible area.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is useful. Digitalised teaching methods were used. We got industry exposure and field visits very often. We too have observership of 12 days in a hospital of our choice during our first semester. Students to faculty ratio are as required.

IIHMR Bangalore is usually considered a Tier 2 institution. But it does not mean that it is anyway less in its reputation. It is well-respected within its niche of healthcare management although lacks to have the broad recognition or placement power of Tier 1 institutions like IIMs.

The ATMA cutoff for IIHMR Bangalore in 2024 is typically around 60-70 percentile (do see it is not percentage but percentile). Thus, specific cutoffs can vary slightly each year based on the applicant pool, so it's recommended to check the official IIHMR Bangalore website or contact their admissions
