A true gem- IHM Ahmedabad.
Placements: Almost 60% students are placed each year with reputed companies like Oberoi, The Park, Marriott, Accor, etc. Some students start their own business after completing the course. There is an average package of 400000/- PA to start with. Some grab management trainee role directly.
Infrastructure: The hostel is inside the college campus. It has 12 rooms on each floor with 6 washrooms. The food in the mess is really awesome. It has a cyclic menu that changes weekly. There is access to a library where you can study in your free time. The rooms are big enough and the cleanliness and hygiene are given the top priority.
Faculty: You will find the best quality faculty members in IHM Ahmedabad. Not only that, they help you with studies. They will also help you get groomed for your professional career along with your personality development. They have a great placement coordinator and research coordinator who will help you at all times.
Other: I always wanted to join a course that had more practical and less theoretical content, so I opted for Hotel Management. Afterwards, I loved everything about it.

Really good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: 98% of students are placed from campus placements. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiters were Taj, Leela, IHG, Hyatt, Marriott, McDonalds, Aditya Birla, and Reliance Retail. 100% of students got internships in all five-star hotels in India. Top roles offered were tourism associate with Madhya Pradesh government and club Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs, library, kitchen, bakery, HK lab, 2 multicuisine restaurants, etc. are there. The quality of the hostel was average. It'll be able to accommodate 2 people in one room. There will be separate beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes. Taking about the mess canteen, the food there is 10/10. No doubt the food in the hostel mess was delicious. The medical facility was given a doctor visit every week. There is volleyball and basketball court in campus.
Faculty: Faculty in IHMA is so well qualified, experienced and experts in teaching. All of there faculty members are M.Sc. in H&HA. Some of them are Ph.D.s also. Teaching quality is excellent in IHMA. Absolutely yes, course curriculum is relevant; it makes the students ready. You will also have the opportunity to intern at five-star hotels. Most study in hotel management is practical and interesting.
Other: I had interest in kitchen so I wanted to become a chef. That's why I joined IHMA. The degree is already extended one more year. That's a great part. Theme lunches are there every 2 months, food festivals, nearby 1000 students in whole campus, etc. You'll get everything you need on campus. The major market held there in Bhaijipura is a scholarship for SC/ST students.

I would not recommend students to join this college if they want to earn money.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed because the coordinator is very supportive. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Management trainees in retail stores are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Our campus is huge and the garden area is good. Hostels are not great but they are more reasonable than other PGs nearby. Wi-Fi is available in our hostel but the speed is not good. The food served in the mess is very good. Warden is also supportive.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is old so teachers help us to see new things. Semester exams are easy and the pass percentage is 75%.

If anyone wants to develop his/her personality then this industry would help him or her.
Placements: In my batch, there are 300 students. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and it was offered by The Oberoi. The top recruiting companies are The Taj, The oberoi, Leela, ITC and JW mariott. Almost 95% students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is damn good. The Wi-Fi connectivity, mess and classes are equipped with ACs and projectors. We have a huge library and a computer lab too. The auditorium is big enough for 700 students. The college has the facility of sports activities like volleyball and basketball.
Faculty: The faculty is too good. They are central government employees. Students get jobs across all over the world. Semester exams are mostly based on practicals. You have to score 50% of marks to pass the practical exams. The placements might give less money at the start.
Other: This industry gives lots of exposures to the world while doing job. The fee structure is a little bit high. You will get fun while studying in this college.

I am satisfied with the college because of the faculty and amazing memories of those 3 years.
Placements: Our college offers a huge number of career opportunities to students. In 2019, the average campus placement percentage was around 94%. Top recruiters that came to our college include The Oberoi Group, Hyatt, ITC, JW Marriott, The Fern, IHG, Accor, Madhuban Resorts, Express Hotels, McDonald's, Faasos, Reliance, Arvind, and others. The highest salary package that was offered to us was Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest salary package was Rs. 13,000 per month and the average salary package was Rs. 16,525 per month. Usually, food retailers and non-food retailers offer better salaries compared to hotels. But it completely depends on your preference for your career, so one must choose it wisely.
Infrastructure: The college has a large infrastructure, including a well-equipped kitchen, a bakery, and a restaurant. The library is well stocked with books and research materials. The auditorium, basketball court, conference room, and computer labs are among other facilities. Both the girls' hostel and the boys' hotel are attached to the campus. Hostel rooms are average, but the quality of food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: The faculty members are well known in the hospitality industry with a good amount of experience in hotels, and some have experience in cruises as well. They are helpful and supportive and also provide a good learning environment. Students are trained in the core departments of the hotel, like the front office, food and beverage service, housekeeping, and food production. The course is relevant because of the hands-on experience provided, and it makes students industry-ready through the 4 months of industrial training that is a part of the curriculum.
Other: There were events like theme lunches, workshops, and a food fest organized, but not much. The college needs to host more events and also form various clubs and committees for the same. The college hosts a national seminar every year on a variety of topics. During this seminar, students take part in extracurriculars and also work in departments like kitchens, bakeries, F&B service, front office, and housekeeping.

It has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Many of the higher and lower-level companies are offering jobs in this course. The top recruiters are Taj, Oberoi, ITC, and many others. The percentage doesn't matter for an internship, but standard grooming is important. Food production, housekeeping, and many other roles are provided.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with multimedia projectors and internet-connected LED computers to assist with classroom teaching, student presentations, and guest lectures. The practical labs have an environment-friendly structure with equipment for training specialised kitchens and restaurants. There is a housekeeping lab, training guestroom facilities, front office labs, and computer labs with the latest technology. We have library facilities. We have a well-stocked, air-conditioned library with internet access.
Faculty: IHM Ahmedabad is one of the best hotel management colleges in India. Faculty members in our college are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. They provide in-depth knowledge of the subjects, and they provide industry-level teaching.
Other: The percentage does not matter, but the JEE entrance exam is important for admission. The corridors of IHMA are buzzing with events throughout the year. The campus offers a variety of activities. The application of knowledge and skills through theme luncheons or dinners and food festivals provides the opportunity to learn in a fun way.
