Honest review of IHM Ahmedabad .

Placements: The average placement % of the college is about 92-93% including all those who have been placed in hotels, food retails and non food retails. Top hotel brands visit the campus for placements. Some examples include:- Oberoi, Marriot, Accor, Crowne plaza, etc. The average salary package of a fresher joining a good hotel property generally ranges from 15 - 20 thousand. (for an associate). An operational trainee may get a starting package of about 20 - 22 thousand, whereas a management trainee may...

I'm satisfied. It's a good college to pursue BSC in hospitality and hotel administration.

Placements: Placements are very good at our college, and approximately 90-95% of the students got placed. Top recruiting companies of our college are Taj, Oberoi, JW Marriott, Aditya Birla Group and many others. The salary package offered is quite average. Internships are good, and you get to explore many companies but only in India if you want to complete your internship from abroad.

Really good hospitality education.

Placements: Almost everyone gets an internship through the help of the college. In terms of placement, 80-85 percent of students get placed every year with high and low packages depending upon the level of their jobs. Many hotels come for recruitment like Taj group of hotels, Hyatt etc.

Facility and events are really not going to amuse you in your college life.

Placements: Placement is mainly a big deal in this college. All the student want to get a good placement but the reality is the college is not able to produce so many jobs. Total students placed last time was around 80% but not with a good package. The highest salary being around 29k/month, the lowest salary being 12k/month. With an average salary of 15-18k/month. Top recruitment is from company like Hyatt International, Accor hotels, etc. All the students get internship offer from various 5 star hotel thro...

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placement and the reputation of the college.

Placements: The one of the best thing about the college is job placement. IHM Ahmedabad assures 100% job placement (walk-ins; campus placement). Various companies visit during the placement period which includes Fast Food Chains, Airlines, Hotel chains, Retail Fashion Consultant. Frankly speaking the salary for a fresher would be very less if you are not capable enough to crack Management Programme (MT) conducted by different organisation. But promotions would be very quick as you start working. Now let me ...

Satisfied with the management course.

Placements: The placements were good but not for the hotel industry as the college is for the hospitality industry. For my batch, there were a lot of placement companies, and the other activities took place for placements. All over placements were through the campus only but not in hotels.

Satisfied with the college and placement cheers.

Placements: The placements of our batch were good. Good hotels came over. We are expecting a couple of good retailers which could not turn up. The faculty members call good hotels and retail, and they make sure that every student gets placed somewhere so that they can start chipping in some money.

Best faculty, good infrastructure, excellent placements in all over India.

Placements: According to the records, the placement of IHM Ahmedabad is almost 100%. Everyone who graduated from here has a job. I also heard had a word from my seniors that, they all are very happy with their work. They all are placed in some of the 5-star hotels. Some are even doing the job in the foreign countries.
