Always stands in the top 5 hotel management colleges in India as it is a central government college.

Placements: In all the hospitality industries including retail to the hotel to sales and air hostess, everything depends on the performance of candidate during the interview. Almost 100% students get the job before clearing the final exams. The placement varies from 5-star hotel to a chain of restaurants like Starbucks and McD. Also, the students get a chance to work in sales in different travel companies including Cleartrip.

Honest and experienced review. Go through iff planning to join this institute.

Placements: The placements in this institute are of utmost importance and given a significant insight right from the 5th semester itself so that there could be a 100% placement record. Amazing college to get hands on.

Placements: 100 percent placement assistance is provided by the college. Even you will end up in getting multiple offers at the end of 2 years if you have the will to work for hospitality. Package starts from 10k per month and can goes upto 50k per month. There would be three types of programs s C. T, M. T, O. T. Being corporate trainee and management trainee be the best in industry as it gives you an managerial role in a short span of time.

Excellent faculty, and had great placement cell.

Placements: The placements of my batch were excellent. Our placement coordinator was up to the mark. I got two good jobs. Most of the students are placed. Last year also, it was as good as this year. Many top rated 5 star hotels came to the campus and recruited many students. Big retail companies like Puma and Tommy Hilfiger have also made its mark in the institute by recruiting deserving students.

The college is like an excellent book with a worn out cover.

Placements: I got placed in Thomas Cook, ITC, My Fortune, Dominos, Puma and McDonalds. The college promises more than 120-140% placements record. The average package is 2.5-3.5 lacs per annum. Placement coordinators work hard to ensure every single student has a secure job in hand at graduation.

The infrastructure of the college is the worst.

Placements: Placements in my college are not 100% as we see on most of the websites. Most of the students in our senior batch failed to get placements from college. Generally, Rs. 12,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month is the average salary offered by hotels. The lowest salary according to my knowledge is Rs. 10,000 per month approximately. It can be more in cruise lines and airlines. Cruise lines offer Rs. 50,000 per month as the starting salary. Placement cell is useful and helps very much.

Satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placements are always nearly 100%. The college is good in terms of placement. A lot of big well-known companies come every year. Almost all students got the job in past years. This year also almost every single individual is having a good job with good package.

If you wanted to archive a successful career in this field, then this is the best place.

Placements: The placements of our college are great, as the percentage of placement is 100%, apart from those, the students who are interested in MBA, other than that the packages offered by the company are also great. It is upon the student's skill, how to tackle or clear all the rounds and interviews based on their knowledge.

A reputed institution headed by the experienced hospitality professionals offering the best courses.

Placements: I got the offer letter from the three companies like Oberoi, IHG hotels, and Accor hotels. The placements are good, and each student at least gets a minimum of two company offer letters. The companies around the globe visit this college for the placements, hospitality sector, retail sector, airlines, and much more come for the placements.

Placements: If a student joins this college, he need not worry about the placements. There are lots of companies visit our campus from the sectors like retail, hotel, airlines. It's all up to where does one want to go and how you perform in the college. Your placement opportunities are no less in this sector, and IHM-Bangalore will give you a great platform to learn and get placed.

Placements: 100% placements done in major hotel chains like Oberoi, Taj, Marriott and some retails, travel agency, facility management companies, QSRs and airlines. The placement co-ordinator is helpful, and the placement rounds include group discussion, extempore, personal interview, aptitude tests. Placements: Placements are very good. 150% chances of getting placed. All top brands visit for placements. You can even go for airline sector, retail sector, travel agents, etc. The college stood 2nd in the placements record other than IHM Pusa Delhi. Best placements, best faculty, best environment, not so good infrastructure.

Placements: Trust me, you get a lot of companies for placements over here when compared to other colleges here in Bangalore. Since this is one of the top 5 colleges in India, most of the companies are interested in hiring the students from this college. We even get tech giant companies like Infosys and Samsung but students' first priority is always the hotel industry. We get around 10-12 hotels for the management trainee program.

Good placements and faculty members but the campus was not up to the mark.

Placements: Placement scenario of IHM was decent. In my batch, each and every student got placed with various reputed firms like Taj group, Oriental hotels, etc. Various other food chains like Berco's, Taco Bell, etc. also visited the campus to recruit students. In my batch nearly 90 percent of the students got internships. I got my internship at Paasha, Pune whose tenure was of 3 months. The highest package offered for my batch was 4.5 LPA while the average was around 2.5 LPA.

It is a great college with not that great infrastructure but amazing teachers. Their preference has always been on quality education. They give adequate importance on practical classes than just teaching theory. Placement assistance is provided. Recruiters include quick service industries, banks, food retail, general retail, event management companies, airlines, facility management companies, etc. The college conducts guest lectures for the students and has a strong alumni network.
