This is a center college that has much more facilities than other institutes.
Placements: In terms of placements, this college is the best; it provides almost 95-100% placements. A lot of companies from outside India also come for placements. The minimum package from this college is about 3-4 lakhs per annum, which is good for a fresher. Many of our seniors appreciate the kind of work the college does for placements.
Infrastructure: The hostels are near and clean, and the food is also good. Being in a hilly area, the weather here is always pleasant. The Wi-Fi works a little slowly. Also, the market is a bit far away, which is not very helpful for students; they have to travel at least 8-10 km for facilities like major medical issues and for eating, etc.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum activities are just the best! The teachers are well-educated and very helpful. They assist you nicely with any of your work and explain everything calmly while helping with any problems you may have. Many cultural functions are held here, which are really appreciated by students!
Other: I was really interested in this field because you can travel across the world in this profession as well.

Our college is good. I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Around 80-90 percent students were selected in big properties and more n more companies come for college placement like TAJ, Air india, spice JET KFC etc. Many people apply internship from foreign also so the college helps the students to select the best property to do their internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-maintained. All labs are well-maintained with all equipment. Our college has many labs for our department as we have to study housekeeping, food, beverage food production, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are highly experienced. They are great at their place. They help many students. They guide us.

Review of Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. About 90% of students got placed from our college in different 5-star hotels and many retail brands like Reliance, Domino's, McDonald's, etc. Some students got a chance for international placements, and some get to work on cruises.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college provides 2 hostels for boys and girls. Hostels provide facilities like Wi-Fi, heaters, a mess, etc. The food served in the mess is good. Our college has a recreation hall for indoor games. A volleyball court is available in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and cooperative. They always help us and clear our doubts. The course is not much difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in cooking and baking. Our college provides industrial visits and training for students.

College is situated in an awesome place.
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 35000 INR per month and the average is between 15-20k INR. The lowest is 8-9k INR per month. It depends on your communication skills and personality and you should be properly groomed.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent. The college has Wi-Fi even in the hostel. The college has practical and theory both labs. Library is equipped with all the latest books. Wi-Fi is available 24/7. The college is also located at a very good location.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and are very helpful. The teaching quality is decent but sometimes due to snowfall, the classes get suspended for a few days. Passing exams is not very difficult, you just need to be regular in the college. Pass percentage is 95%.

IHM Shimla is overall good, but need to work on gym renovation.
Placements: The percentage of students is placed is about 95%. The highest salary package is about 6 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA and top recruitment companies are JW Marriot, Oberoi, Taj, Leela and many more. All the students got internships from the college and the main role is personality development.
Infrastructure: Classes don't have Wi-Fi but the infrastructure is top-notch and the facilities are also very good. College mess provides good quality food and spots room is also very well developed and one of the best things about the classes is they provide digital classes.
Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful in every manner if you call them in off time then also they are responsible and help you, as teachers are very much qualified and knowledgeable and the course is very relevant and which provides the industry-ready. The exams are a little bit hard in the college passing percentage is about 35%.
Other: I have chosen this course to pursue my career in the food and beverage department and the best thing about the course is that is very relevant. The main thing I want the college to improve is the Wi-Fi service. For some specific students, the college provides scholarships also and the campus crowd is just unbelievable and very crowd.

It is one of the best government colleges for hospitality sector.
Placements: About 80% of the students got placed in well-reputed brands while the other students went for higher studies. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.6 LPA. Top companies like Taj, Oberoi, Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt visit the campus. All students got internships as it was the mandatory part of the course and in the brands like Taj, Jaypee, Marriott, Hilton, Ramada, Top roles are Chef, GSA, F&B Associate, and many more.
Infrastructure: Library is available in our college. The infrastructure is very beautiful as it is situated in the laps of Shimla. All the labs are properly maintained and cleaned always. The quality of food given was very good and there were many indoor game facilities available in the refreshment room.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and are one of the best teachers in the hospitality field. The teaching quality is excellent and no student will find any difficulty on the campus. The course curriculum is relevant and it does make the student industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the bar tender line. I think the working hours should be decreased. There are many events like scholarship, gala event, fest, farewell, and fresher.
