This is a center college that has much more facilities than other institutes.

Faculty: Faculty and curriculum activities are just the best! The teachers are well-educated and very helpful. They assist you nicely with any of your work and explain everything calmly while helping with any problems you may have. Many cultural functions are held here, which are really appreciated by students!

College is situated in an awesome place.

Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and are very helpful. The teaching quality is decent but sometimes due to snowfall, the classes get suspended for a few days. Passing exams is not very difficult, you just need to be regular in the college. Pass percentage is 95%.

IHM Shimla is overall good, but need to work on gym renovation.

Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful in every manner if you call them in off time then also they are responsible and help you, as teachers are very much qualified and knowledgeable and the course is very relevant and which provides the industry-ready. The exams are a little bit hard in the college passing percentage is about 35%.

It is one of the best government colleges for hospitality sector.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and are one of the best teachers in the hospitality field. The teaching quality is excellent and no student will find any difficulty on the campus. The course curriculum is relevant and it does make the student industry-ready.

Everything was fantastic but ROI is very disappointing.

Faculty: The teachers were fabulous as all of them having hotel industry experience in their specific fields but the syllabus of NCHMCT haven't updated so what we study is actually not practiced in the present hotels. The industrial training is the keen part of the course that provides every exposure that a student needs to be industry ready. The exam are so easy as if the students attends the class on daily basis and just listen he/she will be able to score more then passing marks. The mid term and fina...

Overall, it is a good college with good placements.

Faculty: All the teachers are well-experienced with more than 15 years in this industry. They all have bookish knowledge and are helpful too. They all are always available for your help. Our B.Sc course is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry.

It is a good college and I will recommend to join them.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable in our department. They provide accurate knowledge and detailed practical knowledge to the students. They also advise students about the future what they will do after completing this course.

There are really good infrastructure and facilities here.

Faculty: As the college comes under the central government, so we can find qualified and knowledgeable teachers who are very helpful for our study. A lot of the course curricular activities are organised by the faculty members just to prepare students industry-ready.

The college provides very good infrastructure and facilities for students.

Faculty: The curriculum of the college of all central IHMs needs to be updated. The curriculum of central institutes is still 15 to 20 years or more behind than what is happening now in the hospitality industry. Teachers are helpful, but some teachers need to change their attitude.

I am satisfied with the college, and it was a wonderful journey.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were qualified and knowledgeable as every teacher had industry experience at least for 2 years. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant. It was less theoretical based and much practical base. We had a 4 months of industrial training which will make 75% industry-ready.

It is good College. It takes care of students and makes us professional.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they help with all you want and they provide good notes. All the teachers are qualified with experience. Syllabus was a little out of date, we were told that syllabus would change but don't know if bit changed. Syllabus needs to updated of all IHMs.

Ihm the 3 years of my life.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and having knowledge about the curriculum but the curriculum is too old now and teaching is done with the help of projectors and the curriculum does make the student industry ready but it would be better if the curriculum gets changed and students if given practical exposure.

Review of Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Shimla.

Faculty: Teachers in our college help us a lot and give a lot of effort for the students who are focused, and they try that every student gets placed. Teachers conduct smart classes to clear concepts. The syllabus is old and traditional, but it makes students ready for the industry.
