Life at Institute of Law, Nirma University"
Placements: The placements offered here at Nirma University are pretty good as far as I know. The seniors who graduated from Nirma University got placed in very good law firms and are earning a very good amount of money right now. The average package at Nirma University is 6-7 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available here at Nirma University is very nice, and the classrooms have a capacity of 60-70 students. All the classrooms have a chalkboard and projectors. The hostels at Nirma University are very nice, and many of them have AC rooms and an attached washroom. The mess facility is excellent.

Nirma University: A general overview
Placements: In the last batch, approximately 40 to 50 percent of students who opted for placement got the placements. The report of the highest and lowest package is yet to be released by the college. Companies like EY Legal and Trilegal ARC have visited the college.
Infrastructure: Classes are well maintained with all the technical facilities. All rooms of the building are air-conditioned. Wifi is available throughout the campus, and we are developing a central library for the whole university. Girls are provided with hostel facilities, but boys don't have any hostel inside the campus, so we have to live outside the college in PGs.
Faculty: Faculties are of mixed kind; some are really excellent in teaching, while some are not. But they are all very helpful and try their best to assist us even after teaching hours. Our course curriculum is really updated and on track. There are various teaching methods, such as skill labs, etc. There are mid-sem and end-sem exams. Exams are difficult sometimes, and evaluation is really hard.

Nirma Law - A journey of becoming a lawyer.
Placements: Around 20-30% of students got placed in our college. The remaining students got jobs on their own through internships and connections. Top recruiting companies are EY, KPMG, Digit, and some other companies and Law firms. Roles offered are legal associate, consultant, and in-house manager. The highest salary package offered is around 10 LPA - 11 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Many students got internships in several law firms. Around 20 students got internships in companies like Begur & Partners and Cleantech Industry resources.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. The campus is beautiful and green. Our classrooms are good. Our library is well-equipped. The campus area is spread over around 125 acres of land. It looks surreal. There were no hostel facilities for UG students earlier. Now, it is available only for girls and not for boys. Hostels are good. The food served in hostels is good. The hostel fee is around Rs. 1,20,000-2,00,000. The campus provides every facility.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are not very qualified and knowledgeable. They are not experienced. Some of them are very good. Many teachers are fine. The quality of the teaching is not very great. They read and show only PPT slides. The course curriculum is relevant. It teaches you in every aspect to become a lawyer. It makes students industry-ready. The law is a field where one needs practical knowledge. Overall the course prepares you for the industry. Semester exams are fine. The syllabus is lengthy. It is difficult to study but important because we have to learn about law. The pass percentage is almost 80%.
Other: I always wanted to become a corporate lawyer, so I opted for this course. The best thing about this course is I got to learn about several corporate laws and the usage and importance of these laws. Our college should provide more practical knowledge. It would be great if the teaching style would have been better. Events and fests are good. Our college conducts cultural events, sports, fests, and events every year in April. They are great. The connectivity of our college is good. Ahmedabad is a good city. Scholarships are available to students who are rank holders in CLAT.

Disappointed by the exam structure, committees are great, and the overall atmosphere is less toxic.
Placements: The placements are not so good, as it is seen that people get pre-placement offers, so campus placements and internships are not given. The top recruiters are tier 2 law firms, and 50% are placed in law firms. Some choose litigation, while others prepare for the judiciary.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the best. The facilities in the hostel are top class; the rooms are air-conditioned, there is a maid to clean the rooms, water is available 24/7, vending machines are provided, electricity is available all day, safety is also ensured, and the quality of the food in the mess is nice.
Faculty: The course is heavy as it follows absolute grading, so hard work is required to score good marks. Projects are given much importance, with a distribution of 60% for projects and 40% for examinations. The course curriculum is up to date, and teachers teach nicely. We have 10 semesters, and there are passing criteria.
