Absolutely satisfied with campus and quality of academics.

Placements: Placements are average, mostly similar to the other second tier colleges. For specialisation in marketing, the opportunity is good as compared to other disciplines. Almost 95% of our seniors got placed before the convocation. Mostly all the student got placed for the internship. For internship placement profiles were good, but the stipend was on the lower side.

A good combination of infrastructure, industry exposure, and placements.

Placements: Placements at Nirma University are more than satisfactory. We, here get the best experience and industry exposure through various modes like internships, management conclaves, and lecture series. The senior batch students here got amazing profiles for their respective fields and salary offered were proper as per the capability, location, and profile. Nirma University always focuses on 100% placements.

A sea of opportunities if fully utilised.

Placements: The highest package offered to our seniors was 14 lpa while the average is around 8 lpa. A wide range of profiles was offered for all specialisations. Placed in good cities such as Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore etc. Some examples are Infosys, JP Morgan, HUL, Coffee Day, Cera, Bajaj Auto, etc.

One of the best infrastructures.

Placements: The placements are handled by a separate committee and the placement committee. The placement committee goes through a lot of pain to get the whole batch placed. Many big companies visit the campus on day 0 and take a whole lot of students with good salaries on offer. The average package turns out to be around 7-8 lakhs every year and satisfies most of the students.

A blend of values, good education and aesthetics.

Placements: Some of the good brands for marketing and finance visit the campus every year. Most of our seniors are placed in good companies. Almost 90% of our seniors are placed and efforts are made to place the remaining as well. For summer placements, most of the students got placed in startups that visited the campus. Startups give a good exposure of work to the students.

Good MBA college but there is a lot of scope for improvement.

Placements: Placements stats are decent but have not improved for the last few years. The average salary has hovered around 8 LPA. Hence the return on investment is a matter of concern. The diversity in profiles is comparatively better. The internships are majority provided by the college itself and the stipend ranges from 50k to nil. The location of the placements is mainly Mumbai and other metros. Few companies offer tier 2 cities also.

Good infrastructure with decent placements and faculty.

Placements: Decent placements. This year, the average package went down due to demonetization but I expect better placements this year based on internships. The highest was 14 lacs for work experienced people and the lowest went till 4 this time I guess. 90% + of the batch was decently placed. All the students were placed for the internship this year and the highest stipend was offered by HUL at 35000 per month.

IMNU - The side which no one talks about.

Placements: Around 95% of the students were placed. Major recruiters were banks like Axis, HDFC, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra and IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. The average package was around 7.5 LPA due to demonetization. Placements are totally student driven. Once selected in a company, the person is not eligible to sit for any other company.

Placements: There are 100% placements with an average of 8.5 LPA in MNCs and fast-growing startups. We have the highest package of 15 LPA and not only final placements are good but summer placements are also 100% with an average stipend of 12000. All major companies offer a PPO to the students as well.

Decent college because of decent facilities.

Placements: Placements are decent. Around 85% of the seniors are placed. The majority of the roles offered are in the sales region. A few core companies also visit for finance but they are very few. The highest package was 14 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA and the average is around 7 LPA. For the internship, almost 60% of the batch gets placed but the majority are unpaid internships.

A glimpse into Institute of Management, Nirma University.

Placements: The placements season sees a pretty decent line-up of companies, especially for those with the marketing specialization. IT companies and banks form a majority of them. Placement record must be a good 80-85% for the batch. The internships season sees a decent line-up of well-known companies as well as start-ups. All in all, enough opportunities exist for the students.

Absolutely satisfied due to the faculty, placements, sports facility, library etc.

Placements: Placements are mainly depending on BFSI and IT sector. Last year, it was very good due to strong IT projects availability but this year it is not that good due to fewer placements in IT sector. Economic conditions like BREXIT is responsible for that. Overall, the placement scenario is satisfactory. 90 percent students are placed this year. The highest package is 14 lakhs. BFSI offers sales and RM profiles while IT offers business analyst roles.

It is at a critical position, the next couple of years will define whether it belongs to mass/class.

Placements: The placements are really good. The spectrum of sectors that visit the college is limited, though. If you want to pursue a good marketing career, IMNU is a place to be in. IMNU shows 100% placement records consistently, since many years (excluding people pursuing start-ups and family businesses).

Overall good in Tier 2-3 college rankings.

Placements: The placements were pretty decent in our batch but it was way better than our seniors. Since the market was good, better companies visited our college with a better package. And as a result, the average and median packages both increased, and almost 99% of the batch got placed. A few remained unplaced because of the subjects they have selected. IMNU is not at all good for the HR students. In rest of the branches, placements are good. In our batch, the highest offered was 15 lacs approximately an...
