It is the best pharma institution in Amaravati.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Sun Pharma, Cognizant, and Cipla. Around 80-90% of students got internships at companies like Cognizant and Sun Pharma. The top role offered was drug inspector.
Infrastructure: Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. There was a decent library and several books were available. Classrooms were well-maintained. Computers were also available for all students. Hostel rooms were good. The food quality was great. Medical facilities were provided.
Faculty: All teachers had 10-12 years of experience. They always clarify our doubts. They also provided notes during exams. Faculty members were helpful and well-qualified. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 35%.
Other: I chose this course to become a drug scientist. Many opportunities are available for good students.

Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Amaravati has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.Pharma | Candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology subjects with above mentioned marks in the above subjects taken together from any recognised Board/Council. The mentioned marks of SC/ST and OBC is for the candidate belonging to maharashtra State. Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying examination are also eligible. Maharashtra State candidates must have to appear for MHTCET. All India Candidates need to appear for MHTCET/NEET. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHTCET. |
D.Pharma | Candidate passed 10+2 (science stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply |
