Best college for MBA.

Placements: As per the college records, every year about 60–70% of students get on-campus placements. The highest package offered in our course was INR 8 LPA, and the lowest package was INR 4 LPA. The college placements cell works very hard to bring the big companies in the college, like Genpact, Deloitte, HCL, etc., to campus.

Review of Unitedworld School of Business.

Placements: I am a student of SB10 2018-20 batch. As I am a 1st-year student, I can't say much about placements. However, placements were good in previous years. Companies like ITC, Britannia, Sony, Colgate, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., visited the campus for recruitment. We are hoping to get good placements.

My opinion and review of my college i.e. UWSB

Placements: Since I am in my first year, I can't really say much but previous placement reports have been great. I hope that we get great placements as well. Since top companies like Colgate, Sony, Britannia, Keventer, ITC, etc. come for placements, we can assume that our college has great tie-ups and amazing prospects when it comes to future placements.

Overall, good learning experience, learn to work within groups. Opens eyes in different fields.

Placements: From the senior batch, almost 70% students were placed and out of the remaining students, maximum of them opted to become an entrepreneur. In our batch, almost 60% are placed in different companies like MRF Tyres, Nestle, Parle, Hinduja Leyland Finance, Kotak Securities, ITC, etc. Few renowned companies have provided good CTC between 4 to 5 lacs p.a. But most of the companies have provided very low CTC, especially to the HR candidates. The average salary excluding big ones can be sum up between ...

The campus has the good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements are better for the marketing and finance, and least for HR. For marketing, the companies like Colgate, Sony, Google, naukri.com and much more visit the campus. For finance, the companies like PWC, KPMG and much more visit the campus. The students can arrange the internship of their own if they want.

The college is really good. The classes are regular and very knowledgeable. The college faculty is very warm and always there for the student be it professional or personal. Industrial exposure and visits are regular. They give huge projects so that the students get use to the pressure of the corporate world.

A nice college, average placement, faculty are the best part of this college, good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are average for my batch. There were no such good companies. Marks was not at all important and salary offered was too low. Well-known brands were not there, very few companies are there to take placement, and most of them are only for sales. It is like if I have taken marketing course, then only the sales job would be good and that too with very low packages. And, all the companies are hiring for Kolkata only.

UWSB is an institute where once a student enters, he comes out as a different personality, having an open mind for learning and a different approach. Classes, lectures, presentations, industrial visits, outings, study material, practical and theoretical knowledge, application, grooming, excellent faculties, guest lecture, events, activities, doubt clarification and extra knowledge and every other element is there in this institute.

I joined the first batch of this college... the infrastructure is good. Faculty is awesome. But the main issue is placement, there no such thing like 3-tier placement, which they promoted. Very few students got good placements in MNC's, but most of us didn't. If you compare fees, then you will find this college bit cheaper than other B Schools, also you will get good faculties, good environment, good friends also. But if you check the placement status you will find this college do not has the ri...

Unitedworld School of Business Kolkata is a decent college. Most of the faculty members are very good. Crowd and campus life is awesome. There are facilities like pool and TT. fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. Very good placement should not be expected as this is an average college and one should keep in mind that this is not IIM. Quality of education is excellent.

Infrastructure has been very good, class rooms are wifi enabled, spacious as well as it provides a good ambience where students can study comfortably. Subject knowledge is good, teaching methodology is unique, students generally interact with the students so that they can develop their communication skills, regular presentations are done by the students. Faculties are highly qualified and experienced they belong from top institutes like IIM, IIT , SIBM etc. Average salary is 4.5 lacs per annum b...
