The course curriculum and faculty are good.

Placements: Placements are available for all the students who want to get placed. The college provides good placement opportunities. Companies also hire freshers. Students go through a personality development programme which helps them in getting placed. Teachers always support the students so that the students get proper placements.

It is a bit expensive but worth joining.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. The highest package is offered by Amazon, Bangalore. The placement scenario is not the typical campus recruitment system. Only the students who are interested in getting placed after their course completion are required to apply through the placement cell of the college. Most of the students that apply for jobs through the placement cell get placed.

The college offers an average infrastructure but great learning.

Placements: Since the college offers bachelor and master courses, the placements are reasonable compared to the courses offered in our college. Students who are interested in getting jobs from college need to contact the placement cell. Major companies that visit for recruitment are Ernst & Young and Amazon. Students are also offered internships during the course. Since it is a morning college for students doing B.Com, they get off by 12 pm which makes it possible for them to work for companies during their...

I am not dissatisfied but not totally satisfied also.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Reputed companies come for the placements. Average number of students get placed as half of them pursue higher studies. Otherwise, the placement cell does its best to get all the students placed. Internships are mostly not offered from the college.

The three years are well spent in college, and I have learnt a lot here.

Placements: The college provided good placement opportunities, but only a few companies visited the campus for placements. They also provided internship opportunities to interested students. The stipend offered by the companies was also good as we were graduate students.

Studying in the institute was worth it.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Almost 95% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA for a B.Com graduate, and the average salary package offered was 3-4 LPA. Companies that visit the college are Times Internet, HSBC, Wipro and many more. Very few students got internships. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 12,000.

The college has a good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college. It is quite efficient and useful for those who want to apply for placement drives. A good number of students got placed through campus placements. It's mandatory for students to do internships in their final year according to the curriculum. Every student has to go for 1 month of internship, which becomes a base of the final project evaluation. Almost all the students (80% of the students) who applied for internships were offered with one. The average st...

You must join the college if your focus is only on studies.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college working for the students who want to get placed. Mostly, students prefer to get placed on their own. The placement cell is active. One of the companies that visited the college for placements was Amazon. The fashion designing and interior designing students are required to do internships. This is not the same in case of B.Com students. The stipend offered by companies is good in comparison to the courses offered by the college.

Amazing crowd, really good teachers and non-teaching staff, and a great environment.

Placements: Summer placements in college are good. Companies like Paytm, ITC, Mahindra, and Accenza visit our campus and offer good profiles. Some are paid internships, but most of them are unpaid. There were a total of 17 companies that visited the campus for placements in the year 2013, post which, the number has always increased.

I have completed M.Sc. in human development.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is really helpful if you require your area and choice of placement. They provide internships in really good organisations which gives a lot of exposure. The exposure is mostly in NGOs, Montessori, and special centres for human development course.

A review of JD Birla Institute.

Placements: The internships provided by the college were in well-known NGOs. There was no such stipend provided, but our performance was evaluated by the organisation. The placement cell is good. We got the option to choose which organisation we would like to work in, and accordingly, an effort was made to contact the organisation.

This college provides good placements and faculty members. But the campus is a bit small.

Placements: Placements were excellent for the students of our senior batch. Most of the students are willing to take up a job after BBA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Many good companies are visiting the college and looking for young talents. Companies like Swiggy, Tomato and HUL, etc., visited our college for recruitment.

JD Birla gave an amazing experience for 3 years. But, some areas have scope for improvement.

Placements: Placements for my batch were pretty good. My friends who got placed through college are happy for what they are doing and where they are. There were quite good placement opportunities provided by the college. The visiting companies not only offered us jobs but some of them offered us higher education on their behalf which was the best part.

One of the best colleges for commerce in Kolkata.

Placements: JD Birla invites few companies by the completion of the course. Some of them also offer studies along with a job, which attracts the students a lot. It also offers summer internship opportunities. HSBC also offered internships for students. The college provides very good opportunities for commerce graduates.

It is a great place to grow and glow.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. Most of the companies offered internships and jobs in finance and accounting related work. I think more opportunities should be introduced for marketing and banking jobs. Many big companies like PWC, Wipro, HSBC, and other banks visit the college to offer jobs to students every year.

One of the best private colleges in eastern India for B.A.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Various companies like ITC, Pantaloons, etc., visit our college to offer final placements. ITC company hired 10 students for the hospitality sector. The salary packages offered are pretty good compared to other colleges; they are roughly around 3-5 lacs per annum. In the final year of a batch, various companies visit and offer SIP only for a month.

I am satisfied with the B.Com course offered by JDBI.

Placements: A placement cell was started in the college during my final year, so it was in the nascent stage. Most of the students from our batch opted for higher studies, and some got placed on their own. I am unaware of today's scenario of placements.

A perfect place for personality development with strict rules.

Placements: The placement cell of the college has been improving with every passing batch. The percentage of students being placed is increasing with every year, and they are being selected after proper scrutiny. Companies like Wipro, HSBC, L&T, Times Group have visited the campus for placements. Students are selected for the accounts department, the PR department and marketing purposes, etc. The initial packages vary between 2.50 - 6 lacs per annum with associated fringe benefits.

J. D. Birla, all the search of students ends here.

Placements: Most of the seniors were well placed on campus. We were offered compulsory internships by the college some of which were converted to permanent jobs. The companies that visited our institute for placements were Bajaj Capital, Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital and many others. The institute has a separate placement cell. We get updates about the new internships and placements offered to us every month by the cell.
