Placements: The college provides more than 50% placement in good companies like Wipro, Amazon, Godrej and so on, to students who are interested in working. Companies like Wipro also provide a certificate in MBA degrees, if one works with the company for at least two years, and even promote the employee on the basis of their merit.
Placements: Our college provides the amazing placements at the good companies to the students, who work hard and score good marks in all the exams. Last year, 5 LPA was the highest placement a student received from my college. I'm proud of this fact. The companies like Deloitte, HCL, and the others have joined hands with J.D. Birla Institute.
Placements: Our college placement cell, as informed by the seniors, isn’t that strong, but definitely, we had companies like HDFC and Wipro coming in to take interns from our college. We have summer internship also for the third year students. There were only a few students who got placements, i.e. 5-10%. The placements and internships were restricted in our college city Kolkata until last year. Definitely, our college is stretching hands to provide the best placements.
Placements: It is mandatory for all the students to intern for a few months to get exposure to the practical world. The students are placed in various non-governmental organisations as well as multinational corporations. Non-governmental organisations include hope foundation and NGOs outside Kolkata. Multinational corporations include Tate Steel.
Placements: I personally do not have much experience regarding placements, but as I heard from seniors and our principal, there are plenty of placements provided, but the main issue is that the students are not turning up for a job after being selected. So, this is putting the college in a dicey position of calling the companies for recruiting. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, and HDFC Bank come to our campus for recruitments.
Placements: The internship of the college is very good with companies like Times of India, Bharat Petroleum, HP, Exide Batteries and others coming in. Also, the best placement companies that came down to college was ITC Hotels and Future First which offered packages of 9 lakhs and 7 lakhs respectively.
Placements: There was a separate department for placements and placement was offered to only those who opted of it. Many companies came down to our college offering diverse profiles in the field of marketing and finance. Few of the companies were Future first, Swiggy and KPMG amongst others.
Placements: The college has good companies dropping in each year. Companies like Future First for finance and Oglivy and Mather for advertising are also common. Students have done their SIPs in reputed companies such as Emami, Times of India and Exide to name a few. Also, it is mandatory for students to have Internships in their final year. The college has also been able to provide internships to over 80% of the outgoing batch.
Placements: Placements in the college were pretty decent. Many students opted out of college placements to pursue masters. Companies that had come for placements were Godrej, Teach For India etc. On the other hand, many people opted for summer internships. The stipend offered was mostly performance-based.
Placements: Placements were decent in our college as reputed companies visited for students to enhance their career in the fields they were interested in. Students also got an opportunity to experience the corporate world, which would not have been possible otherwise.
Placements: The placements offered to the 3rd year students of JD Birla Institute were quite decent. A lot of different companies such as Wipro came to the college and offered management as well as accounting roles. Salaries offered varied according to the company as well as the designation.
Placements: The placements were poor as only 50% of the batch got placed. The major recruiter was Wipro and it offered the analyst role. The average salary went around Rs. 15000 to 20000 per month. Internship was not compulsory, therefore, the college did not provide any assistance for the same.
Placements: The placements were not as many in percentage but opportunities were given to the deserving students, which is why the exhaustive course syllabus was useful. The companies involved were prestigious and the opportunities provided were appreciated by all.
Placements: This is one of the top colleges in Kolkata hence it does provide good opportunities for freshers. It provides internships in startups as well as companies like Big 4. A great exposure is there for second as well as third-year students. The lowest stipend provided is 4000-5000 per month.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements yet. Internships for a long term and short term are offered by companies like Bajaj, ITC, Pantaloons etc. Everyone who opted for internships got placed with 100 percent success. No stipend was offered to students for short-term internships and for long term ones, it was dependent on any prior work experience the candidate had and the company.
Placements: The college has a placement officer and a team who coordinates with the organization for student placement and from time to time companies coordinate with the placement team. The Director of the college guides the student to clear the interview and mock interview sessions are being organised by the faculty before the companies visit for placement. Around 80% of the students get placed.
I have mixed reviews about this college. The faculty of the college is good though some of them can perform better. The classes are held regularly and the crowd is good. According to the facilities provided by the campus, the fees is quite high. Recently, the college canteen has improved, it has been trying to provide more facilities to students after constructing a new floor and also introducing Commercio Conclave, the business convention of the college which was first held in 2015.
Although they did not have very good infrastructural facilities, there was focus on group learning through presentations and with the aid of new technologies like tablets, video learning. Also a lot of guest lectures were held from reputed people from the academic and industrial background. It maintained a perfect balance of academic and non- academic activities and hence provided a brilliant atmosphere for learning.
Placements: Companies which visit our institute to offer jobs and placements are of very high class. Every student based on their performance and skills is provided with opportunities for placements. Companies like Linc, HP, Dell, Pentonic, etc., have been visited our institute for placements. Approximately 80% of the students got internships and have been doing very great as interns today. Roles like advisory, analyst, auditor, etc., have been offered to us in our course. Salary packages offered were very ...
