Opportunities and resources are very limited.

Placements: The placement opportunities in campus is not very good. You get great internship opportunities however placements not well supported since many students also go for higher studies after their B.Sc. Some companies like ITC foods, and some hospitals do recruit but the rate is extremely low.

This is a high-quality institution to pursue management studies.

Placements: Almost all the students who attend placements every year get placed from here, but the salary packages are not amazing on average. Internships are offered in IOC, Emami, Bajaj, Adidas, Berger, Birla Co, ITC, Maruti Suzuki, HUL, HDFC, UCO Bank and many more. As of placements of batch 2020, the average salary package of 4 LPA can be estimated. Companies like WhiteHat Jr, Swiggy, ITC, TCS and Wipro were hiring.

It has good faculty, placements, but I am not satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: As many companies do come for placements such as My Captain, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Tophire, PWC, and many more. The roles offered by them are of various kinds such as business operation executive, HR, business development executive, marketing head, etc. Overall the placement is good.

The infrastructure is not that great, but the teaching methodology is great.

Placements: All the students who apply for placements get placed in core jobs. There are internship opportunities as well from the side of college in the final semester. The salary package offered ranges from 3-5 LPA. The roles offered are generally in sales which are not liked by many students.

The college premises are small, which may not please a few students.

Placements: The placements are good here compared to other colleges in East India, but still, the college doesn't offer what it advertised. The companies that come here for placements are ITC, Turtle, Oberoi Grand, My Captain etc. Every student gets an internship in the final year.

Review of Institute of Management, J D Birla.

Placements: The placement record in our college has been high over the years with the college guaranteeing 100% placements. The top companies that come are PWC, Wipro, and Zomato are to name a few. The college provides compulsory internships which is a good thing. The salary packages offered range between 2 LPA - 4 LPA.

Review of Department of Management, J.D Birla Institute.

Placements: There are not many placement opportunities though they brag a lot about placements. It is just a myth that students get placed in companies here in JDBI. Not many companies come for placements and those who visit offer low salary packages for us to accept their offer. There are not many internship opportunities as well. We have a compulsory 1 month internship in the final year. The salary package offered falls between 2 LPA - 3 LPA.

Review of Department of Management, J.D Birla Institute.

Placements: This college doesn't help students in the placements process. There is just a mail by the side of college if there is a recruitment company. Not many students have received placements opportunities in the past, but few of the students are working but not many. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA not much than that. Some companies that have visited in the past are Pagarbook, Zomato, and a few others. The roles offered are those of BD, associate, and graduate roles. No internships have b...

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members but the college offers good placements.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is doing a good job. Good companies are visiting the campus, and a good percentage of students got selected from our batch. I am happy with the placement cell. It is worth appreciation and it is very good. The college should keep growing and evolving.

Average experience, not so good in course curriculum, great crowd, party culture, no infrastructure.

Placements: Placement assistance is offered along with on-campus placements. The highest package is somewhere around 9.5 Lacs but take it with a pill of caution. Almost 85% of the batch doesn't go into placements due to very less salary on offer, job role not worthy, higher education plans, entrepreneurship, etc.

I am not dissatisfied but not totally satisfied also.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Reputed companies come for the placements. Average number of students get placed as half of them pursue higher studies. Otherwise, the placement cell does its best to get all the students placed. Internships are mostly not offered from the college.

The three years are well spent in college, and I have learnt a lot here.

Placements: The college provided good placement opportunities, but only a few companies visited the campus for placements. They also provided internship opportunities to interested students. The stipend offered by the companies was also good as we were graduate students.

The college has a good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college. It is quite efficient and useful for those who want to apply for placement drives. A good number of students got placed through campus placements. It's mandatory for students to do internships in their final year according to the curriculum. Every student has to go for 1 month of internship, which becomes a base of the final project evaluation. Almost all the students (80% of the students) who applied for internships were offered with one. The average st...

Placements: The response of placements were not very good. Around only 5-10% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was about 5 Lacs and the lowest was around 2.5 Lacs. Companies such as TresVista, Godrej & Boyce, Capital First, J Thomas had visited. The roles were financial analyst, business development, sales officer, etc. Nearly 70% of the students got internship from college. Average college. Not too good college for middle-income group people.

Placements: The highest salary offered since three years was 9 lacs per annum. The placements are not good. I don't think that the money they charge for the college is worth the facilities they provide. So, it is mainly for the high-level students. The fees are too high, and internship which the college provides is for one month, and now you think, how much will you learn in one month.

The best college for the young ladies.

Placements: Our college placement cell, as informed by the seniors, isn’t that strong, but definitely, we had companies like HDFC and Wipro coming in to take interns from our college. We have summer internship also for the third year students. There were only a few students who got placements, i.e. 5-10%. The placements and internships were restricted in our college city Kolkata until last year. Definitely, our college is stretching hands to provide the best placements.

Bad infrastructure but great course curriculum.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements yet. Internships for a long term and short term are offered by companies like Bajaj, ITC, Pantaloons etc. Everyone who opted for internships got placed with 100 percent success. No stipend was offered to students for short-term internships and for long term ones, it was dependent on any prior work experience the candidate had and the company.
