JIMS Vasant Kunj admissions are entrance-based. Candidates are required to appear for JET (JIMS Entrance Test), followed by personal interviews for some courses. The written/ online test for all the courses, other than Interior Design, Fashion Design and Mass Communication, is divided into the following sections:

• Maths: Quantitative Ability
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs
