Review of Jagans College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: About 50% of students in our course are placed. The highest salary package offered is 8.6 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini. Top roles offered are system engineer and .Net developer. Many students get placed in multinational companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good. We get 34 MB per day. The hostel facilities are good, but the food is not that good. Room service and cleaning are good. Washrooms are excellent. Games like volleyball and cricket are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very caring and responsible. Our course curriculum is relevant. We need to read every day to pass all our subjects. Even semester subjects like VLSI and network analysis are difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in ECE. There are not many festivals.

This college is good and fantastic.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed in our college. The highest salary package is 9LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Tata Steel and Land are top recruiting companies in our college. This is one of the best colleges in our location in 2017. It is fully crowded and even admissions are very difficult to get. The only negativity of this college is the route of college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good and projectors and screens are also available in every class. The Wi-Fi available in the labs is excellent. Everyone has good knowledge in labs and no words to say about the library. The canteen food is excellent, particularly masala dosa is very good.
Faculty: Teaching is very good but the students are not listening. Those who are not listening also pass in subjects, but with a very less percentage. Some get a good percentage and the pass percentage of our college is 70 to 85%. All teachers are very professional in our college.

Our college has a good atmosphere, and the overall experience with this college is good.
Placements: It was the best college.
Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure with all the labs, like civil lab, mechanical lab and drawing lab and soil engineering lab. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. We had well-furnished classrooms and a good library which had the largest collection of academic books, journals, comics, etc.
Faculty:
The teaching and non-teaching staff members in our college were knowledgeable and well-experienced. Department staff was very helpful in explaining and clearing all doubts in the subjects. Non-teaching staff was also helpful with students activities and extra-curricular activities. All the teachers in civil engineering are well experienced and well knowledge.
Other:
Civil engineering was the best course offered by the college. The fee charged by the college was reasonable. More than 50% of the students got scholarships.

It has good infrastructure and placements in the previous year, but I am dissatisfied with teachers.
Placements: Nearly 50% of the students are selected every year. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was of 1.5 LPA by IBM, and some of the students got selected in it. Many of them are now doing as project managers, team leaders, programme designers and few are working in the testing department.
Infrastructure: It is a quite comfortable college for a middle-class student with quality education. The college provides bus facilities, but the maintenance of buses is not good. Hostel facilities are poor because of the funds which are not provided by the government. If the college receives the funds, they provide good facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are excellent. They have good teaching skills and capabilities. They are all qualified with M.Tech in universities, and our HOD is holding his doctorate. They explain in a realistic way. Some of them have poor teaching skills, but overall they are fine and comfortable to understand.
Other: I chose ECE because I like electronics and communication sector. Only an ECE student can change the entire way towards software and hardware. I wish the college should provide more new inventories labs and technology.

I am very dissatisfied with the faculty members of our college.
Placements: Only 10% of the students get placed in the startup companies with very low salary packages offered. Only 20% of the people get an internship in Techvolt Pvt limited. If the MNCs drives are held in our college, students should improve the spirit of knowledge and spark their skills.
Infrastructure: The college has very poor infrastructure. There is no Wi-Fi and lab facility. Only a small library with old syllabus books is available. The hostel is available in our college with the worst facilities like tasteless food, no medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers have half knowledge and are less qualified. They do not provide a good quality of education. The management only focuses on providing theoretical knowledge. They don't even participate in making the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I was very fascinated in learning it.

This college is not bad, but I suggest you that choose a better college.
Placements: I am Penchala Prasad, and I completed my B.Tech in 2014 with 68%. In our course, i.e., electronics and communication engineering the salary offered is Rs. 22,000 per month. Less companies offer placements, but students perform very well, so they get jobs. Students get internships in Zinox at Nellore.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are not bad, but day scholars have some little bit problems in terms of bus facilities. Otherwise, they are better. The food served in the mess and canteen is excellent. Sports are very less as only cricket competition is held in our college.
Faculty: Some faculty members here are helpful and clear some doubts and clarification. In the ECE department, 2 faculty members completed M.Tech, while one faculty member did a PhD. Some other faculty members still studying M.Tech. However, all faculty members have the best nature. This course is very helpful and makes students learn mentality as well as mature communication development thoughts at personal and professional levels.
Other: I have chosen electrics and communication engineering because it provides communication life, personal experiences and job development. ISRO, SHAR and DRDO offered good professional jobs, so I join in this course. I am improving my English language still. Now, every year our college conducts science fair festival, where national level colleges participate in it. I got prizes in the quiz. Extracurricular activities like paper presentation, poster presentation, sports are also conducted here.
