Good college with nice faculty.

Placements: Around 50 percent of students got placed, but not with huge packages. Top recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, etc. Around 30 percent of students got internships combining both paid and unpaid. Top roles offered by this course are software developers.

Overall, it's a decent college with a good management.

Placements: There are no placements for B.A. students. There were some claims for placements in the prospectus.

Teachers are friendly and well qualified, everything else is average.

Placements: None of the students got placed from our batch. B.Com is a non-professional course, and in Kanpur, it is only for students who do not want to stay engrossed in their studies. However, some students went for internship roles. Placements are for Professional courses.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placement job opportunities.

Placements: There were no placements in our college for commerce students whether we talk about graduation or post-graduation. This is only the saddest part of this college. Students of commerce stream really feel disappointed, and it just feels like students here are just to pay the fees. They complete the following course and at last, take your degree and leave, and that's what this stream students feel like.

Our college is not as good as I expected.

Placements: The minimum percentage in our college is 50%. The highest salary is approximately 25k and the average salary is approximately 15 and the minimum salary is approximately 10k. No placements are there in my college. A fair is organised in which many companies come and select some students.

College to get the degree that's it.

Placements: There is no such thing as placement in our course, You won't get any opportunity from B.Com in terms of placements. The college provides placement to the students but it's for the other courses and even internship is not provided to the B.Com students.

My experience at the college was average.

Placements: The college doesn't offer any kind of placement opportunities for BA, B.Com or B.Sc. courses. As far as I am aware, the placements provided for the BA and BCA courses were not that good either. So overall, don't accept anything from the college in the matter of placement opportunities.

Satisfied with the quality of study but dissatisfied with placements on the campus.

Placements: For this course, there were no placements in the college. There is no placement cell in the college. Mostly startup companies visit the campus for placements. There was no guarantee for an internship to the students. Students didn't get industrial exposure during their course.

In totality, not satisfied due to no placements and poor course curriculum.

Placements: Placement scenario is not at all good, especially in my degree. So far there have not been any placements and there is also no hope that the college will help students in getting placed although companies do come to recruit from other courses that the college offers. Same is the case of internships, college does not provide any internships, students have to try on their own for placements and internships.

Go with this college only if you just want to earn a degree

Placements: There was no placement for my senior batch. Though the college is of one of the biggest media groups, Dainik Jagran, the college does not put any efforts to give placements or internships. While for other courses, few companies turn up to offer jobs. As the college is situated in Kanpur, students get very less exposure as there are very few big companies in Kanpur.

The college is meant only for imparting the knowledge.

Placements: There is no placement given by the college. The college hardly takes up an initiative in placing the student. They mainly focus only on the studies, not on the placements. If you are searching for a job after your under graduation, then this is not the choice.

It was a good college. The experience of learning new things and the learning environment was amazing. The knowledge gathered from the course was very much useful for the future development and acknowledging the way of teaching. Those three years were the most amazing years of life to learn, explore and memorise.

Satisfied with the college, no placement, infrastructure is good in comparison with other college.

Placements: University marking is very poor in comparison with other universities and no placement. Other colleges of same university of other college score is good, so it's my advice to my juniors not to take admission in any of the colleges of Kanpur university CSJMU.
