Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Jai Hind College of Engineering Admission Information.
Placements: There is a college that provides every student with placement facilities, offering monthly salaries ranging from 40k to 60k through campus placements. Tata Techno companies offer internships through the college, and a total of 220 students are placed in this course, with various roles offered to join jobs.
Infrastructure: In this college, the department and hostel are so good; the infrastructure provides the best Wi-Fi connection, 4 classrooms, 4 labs, and 1 library where all books are provided. The college canteen food is so tasty and yummy. There is a "Jeem Khana Commiti" for sports and games.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are qualified in all subjects, with M. Tech teachers and professors available. The teaching is so good. This course is a total of 4 years, with 900 marks of paper and 8 semesters. There are 400 marks that are compulsory required for the college to pass this exam.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

Not good placement in 2022 batch but Teachers and campus life were the best.
Placements: Not a good placement experience; very few companies hire in on-campus drives. L&T and Tata come to hire, with only 9 students out of 85 being placed. One company offered only 1.2 LPA, which is the worst. Most of us got internships in Tata Technology as apprentices. There is a need for improvement in placements.
Infrastructure: Old building, but well-maintained classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is not available in the college; only in computer labs, we can use the internet. The hostel has a separate gym for us, but the mess food is not good; most of us have food outside the hostel. In sports, our college is very active; if anyone wants a career in sports, proper training will be provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are top thing in our college, high qualified experienced with all knowledge in field. Course is from Savitribai phule University. Semester exams are moderate in level our class passing percentage is 75%. By my point of view course curriculum need to add new technologies that currently and in future used in industries.
Other: Never ask an engineer why he choose engineer, it hit him hard.

Best college in the rural area of Pune. Variety of branches, good faculty and high placements.
Placements: College placement is good. 55-60% students get placed in companies on an average INR 3-4 lacs package. Students get placed in Tata motors, L&T, Termax, Bosch and rural companies. Almost 70% of students got internship in big companies like Tata motors, L&T, Bosch and remaining students got internship in rural companies. Top role is offered by Bosch as a design engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course is clean. Availability of high-speed Wi-Fi, every section have their own labs, big classrooms and good ventilation are there. College has a big library and variety of books. College hostel is big and clean, good infrastructure and gym availability. There are variety of meal in college canteen but it is open from Mon-Sat. College has separate medical section and best medical facilities. College has a big cricket ground, also for kabbadi, basketball, badminton and seperate game room for chess, carrom, table tennis etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified. Some teachers are hired from big colleges like NIT. College conducts internship like Cad Cam and design based curriculum activities in college and makes students industry ready. Difficulty level of semester exam is medium. Passing percentage of students is 75-80%.
Other: I chose Mechanical engineering for it being a broad industry and availability of jobs. Best thing of mechanical engineering is, that it is the mother branch of all other branches. We study about basic electronics and coding as well. In mechanical engineering, we got only book based knowledge, so when internship based knowledge is gained then we are really ready for industry. We got lots of event like gathering, sendoff etc. Every branch have their own fest. College has a big crowd, well connectivity, campus surrounding is full of nature and near college we get tourism places as well. Every year top 3 students got scholarships and got lots of extra curricular activities like NCC Campaigns.

Overall it is a good college for improving your skills, developing and learning new technologies.
Placements: Atleast 50% of the students get placed every year from every batch, either off-campus or on-campus. The average salary package offered is between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. The opportunities are good and also improves your skills. Overall the placement ratio is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, AND there are various facilities like mess, Wi-Fi, study room, and a library. The cleanliness is good, and the environment is also good for study.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. There are supportive staff members for teaching and clearing doubts.
Other: It is a good college for various events like sports, technical and cultural events.

Faculty members are very good and helpful here.
Placements: The placement rate in our course is between 20%-30%. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is up to 8 LPA. Companies like Tata, Mercedes, Skoda, etc., visit here for placements. I think about 30% of the students got internships in Tata. Some of them got placed in the sales department in companies like Toppr, Byju's, etc., which are actually study-related. Sales and production roles are offered here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available here, and the labs are average. Classrooms are fine, and the libraries are also very well. Sports are given the top priority to us. The food served here is average, and the mess is not much good. Some students don't like to eat there, and they go to another mess to have breakfast and lunch.
Faculty: Teachers here are good qualified and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is also new and different compared to the teaching of other teachers. If the session is for a long duration, they even make it interesting for students and joyful. Semester exams are not much good but fine. The pass percentage is above 70%.
Other: I love cars and their parts, and I like to innovate new things in cars. So, I chose this course. The workshop should be improved. Very good events and fest are organised here.

Libraries and labs are clean, and Wi-Fi is not so good for range and classrooms are clean. Medical facilities are good, food in the canteen is good. The mess is good, and the sports ground is good.
