Placements: The placement statistics were average with very less students getting placed. Being a UG college, the internship opportunities were limited but this was equalized by the wide variety of opportunities available to the students through online portals like internshala and let's intern. Kolkata, as a whole, offers a lot of internships which can be availed by any individual, subject to their own qualification and skills.
The best thing about my college is that they use innovative ways to make students learn the concepts like through role plays, doing mystery audits etc. Attendance of students is very strict. There are various platforms which are provided to the students to gain exposure by participating in various intercollege events. The centricity of the entire college was centric but all what happens is buttering and politics. Some of the good aspects are that the idea of mentoring brings the students and teachers close with each other. Some other things that the college administration need to understand is that the norms they set is applicable for everyone who prevails in the campus. It should not get moulded according to their requirements.
Please improve the selection criteria and quality of students. Do not take anyone from anywhere. Treat the students as a PG student not as a school going guy.. Faculty is good, they are supportive except some. But the college is charging too much. It's not that worth. Placement is also good.
