July 19, 2021: The second E-Convocation of Jaipuria Institute of Management, one of India's top MBA colleges, successfully closed the academic sessions of 2020-2021, attracting a large number of graduating students, notable visitors, faculty, and alumnus from the institute's four campuses. Through video conference, a total of 1023 students from the Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur, and Indore campuses received their management degrees. Various coveted opportunities in E-commerce, FMCG, Retail & Manufacturing, Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Analytics, and Consulting were provided to the graduating class. Flipkart, Deloitte, Henkel, HDFC, and others are among the leading corporations who actively participated in the placements session.

During the convocation, Chairman, Sharad Jaipuria & President of Integral Education Society, addressed the students, saying, "The world has gone through a period of inadequacy, change, and adjustments, but at the same time, the world is adapting to new ways of living, working, sharing, and being." Instead of feeling buried, Mr. Jaipuria used the image of a farmer burring a seed and planting it at the same time. “We must recognise that challenging situations are supposed to plant us rather than bury us as a result of our circumstances. To have hope is to believe that something wonderful will occur in the future.", he continued.

In the award ceremony, Sibeli Mukherjee PGDM, 2019-21 from Lucknow, Jyoti Jangid, PGDM (SM), 2019-21 from Noida, Shilpi Sharma PGDM, 2019-21 from Jaipur and Ravi Jaiswani, PGDM, 2019-21 from Indore were declared ‘Best Student’ from their respective campuses.

Jaipuria Institute of Management concludes its first-ever E-convocation to felicitate its graduating students

May 27, 2020: Amid the nationwide lockdown, Jaipuria Institute of Management hosted its first-ever E-Convocation to felicitate its graduating students on May 15, 2020. Over 900 graduands across all four campuses received their degrees. The event was hosted online through video conferencing. The Institute invited Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as the Guest of Honour.

  • Among the 295 students graduating from Lucknow campus, Shubhi Sinha was awarded the Gold medal and was also presented the ‘Student of the Year’ title
  • Out of 293 students graduating from Noida campus, Mudit Joshi was awarded the Gold medal
  • From Jaipur campus, Anoushka Bhatia was awarded the Gold medal out of the total 226 students graduating
  • Amrita Ludhwani from Indore campus was awarded the Gold medal out of a total of 127 graduating students

The Institute also awarded the faculty members in eight categories for their excellent contribution in imparting quality education and guiding students in the right direction.

Looking at the enthusiasm among students, Rajnath Singh congratulated them and conveyed his heartful feelings. He talked about the power of youth and said only collaboration and collective effort will be the key to success. He added that whenever in history youth has come together they have created and rewritten the history itself. Usage of technology to come up with an innovative solution will become a norm for success. Technology can be a real rescue in difficult and challenging times. So technology and youth have immense potential for India.

Based on his own experiences he provided following life lessons to the students.

  1. Follow your passion: He advised all passing out students to follow their passion and listen to their hearts to succeed in life
  2. Learn to learn: He mentioned that on this day learning has not stopped but has started and continue to learn new lessons and skills in order to survive and succeed in the corporate world
  3. Critical thinking: He said critical thinking is one of the most sought for the attribute in the corporate world. Approaching problems with an open and objective mind helps in finding the best solutions to the problems

In the end, he shared the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India of 21st Century as Balwaan, Dhanwaan, Gyanvaan and Atma Nirbhar Bharat and urged the student to brace themselves and come forward to realise this dream.

Our college has good environment.

Placements: Overall placement is good. The institute has tie up with big and medium companies, start ups and unicorn. Also, the placement cell is very supportive towards building the career of the students. Companies like HCL, Deloitte, EY, Icici, SBI Purple, Darwinbox, Tata Chroma, Pantaloons, etc. offer placements.

Best PGDM college in Lucknow in terms of faculty members and placements.

Placements: There are good number of companies that come for recruitment every year. The college has a structured placement cell that keeps track of every student and companies for placement purposes. Salary package ranges between 6-8 LPA on average. Management trainee is the most common role offered.

I am satisfied with the college, If your score in CAT like exam is around 70, this is best choice.

Placements: Around 90 percent students got placed during the 2021 placements. Top recruiters includes HUL, ITC, Genpact, HCL etc. The highest package was around 12 lacs per annum, average I think was around 5 lpa, IT placement is usually high but due to pandemic, placements have come down.
