JNU is one of the best colleges in India. It is awesome in terms of research, teaching and learning.
Placements: All the student got good placements. There were almost 30 students, and almost 20 students were offered a salary of Rs. 50,000 and above per month. Most of the students got a job in translation and call centre. The courses are good and continued to master level without any entrance. The salary offered in our course ranges from Rs.40,000 per month to Rs. 80,000 per month. Companies like Amazon, BMW, and many types of companies visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Even with minimal changes, JNU provides more than 50 canteens, numerous dhabas and food stalls. JNU hostel is not only the most affordable one in the entire country, but students have dormitories in case of unavailability of the hostel. Condition of the hostel is above average with the proper assignment of wardens and security guards. Men are not allowed in women's hostel, but women can visit the men's hostel till 10 pm.
Faculty: The college has very helpful and qualified teachers. The teaching quality is the best. They teach using the projector. Seminars are conducted throughout the year, and the course curriculum is beneficial for my current course. Teachers are always available to clear all the doubts.
Other: I have selected the course in JNU because of the very low fee structure. The college provides good education compared to other colleges. The university offers many scholarships.
