The placement for B.Tech mechanical, civil and electrical students are not at all good but they provide placements for IT and CS students in some companies.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

All faculty are not qualified, but fee structure is good and hostel facility is decent.
Placements: My course is B.Tech CSE. I am in 3rd year, so our college package is not so good overall; per year only 50 percent of students are placed. My college's average package is 3.5 Lacs, and for computer science students, it is 4 LPA, and the highest package goes to 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Delta X, Flipkart, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is decent; the campus gym, library, workshop, and garden are available. The college has 3 hostels, 1 for girls and 2 for boys, and the hostel has 1 mess area for all students. The food quality in college is not so good. On the campus, there is one cafeteria. Overall, the campus is decent.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful; they talk with students politely, but all teachers are not qualified, and their teaching quality is good but not so high in professionalism. The curriculum is not so good; they use old-fashioned education. Students are not ready for industry, but college improves day by day.
Other: College is good for middle-class students because its fee structure is not high compared to other B.Tech colleges in India. For the course of computer science in this college, you pay 370,000.

Satisfied with some faculty. Placements were good. Everything is good.
Placements: 85% students were placed in college placement, including me. Packages were better, ranging from 1.8 LPA to 6 LPA maximum offered by the companies. HCL, Tech Mahindra, and a few others were the top companies for placement that my college invites. Everyone found their own internship on the internet.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is good. Labs are good, but there is no Wi-Fi for students. Classrooms are good, and the library is pretty good for reading. The facilities of the hostel are okay, the food is also okay, and the medical facility is good. Sports and games are also good.
Faculty: Teachers were good, but some teachers were very hardworking. The course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult in our college, and there is no cheating during exam time. You have to at least pass the passing marks.
Other: Everything is good as a private college can do.

Review of JB Institute of Technology.
Placements: In 2023, only 20% of students from my course were placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. Students secured placements off-campus, not through on-campus recruitment. On campus, the highest salary package offered was 6.6 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies specific to our course. 0% of students received internships. Top roles offered are tester and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The class size is 60 students, but the seat quality is poor. Wi-Fi speed is very slow. Labs are outdated. They have Pentium processors still in use, in the era of i5 processors. Library is also outdated, there is no space to sit. It's an open library, and if we prefer studying in a quiet environment, it's not suitable. It's better to study in our room.
Faculty: In our first year, the teachers were very helpful. Many qualified teachers left the college within just 2 to 3 months of their notice period. Now, in our third year, the teaching quality has declined compared to the first year. Course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not prepare students for the industry-ready. It is difficult to pass semester exams because there is no support from internal marks. Even if we perform well in internals, our final marks depend more on the teacher’s perspective than our actual performance.
Other: I chose this course because I know there is a lot of money to earn in the computer science field. So I decided to join the computer science department. The best thing about this course is that it is not directly related to any industry standards. I wish it would be better for juniors. They should stop wasting time learning C programming and Turbo C++. They should focus on learning the latest technologies that are currently trending in the market. Events and tests are not very difficult, they are just as regular.

Best College with Best Faculty
Placements: Above 60 percent of students get placed, but many students in college are back in their subject but clear the placement and get placed after clearing the back. They are legends, meaning recurring companies are TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, Cognizant, and Telus International .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure Is good, good company package and good area to the students for extracurricular activities and playing games and all, there college labs are good and high-teach in this Dehradun, canteen is good, and not extra money grab by canteen man college always check the canteen price for the students and maintain it price .
Faculty: Teachers all are M.Tech + Ph.D. faculty; they are supreme in this core field. Their teaching quality is really impressive. They always teach the course before the semester for the preparation of the students. They are really difficult exam papers because they come from government universities. Government universities set a hard level of questions. They always go for industry visits .
Other: In my batch, a good amount of students, 53 in total, are in the electrical branch. In class, I want to improve the gap between classes. The regular ways of class goen, in fest, good artists are asked to come and perform. In my time, Milland Gabba, Tulsi, and many more come. It also conducts many curricular activities, and the students really enjoy them .

Best and affordable college.
Placements: 70% of students are placed in this course. Companies are currently visiting my college, and many students are being placed. Internships are average. Companies have visited and offered the highest package of 11 LPA, but in the CSE course, the highest package is 35 LPA and the average is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus are good. Faculty members have good behavior. Hostels are average but have Wi-Fi. The campus and hostels have students from all states, but Bihar students are in the majority. Mess food is average. The college is affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. Semester exams are normally hard, but they are easy for hardworking students. The course doesn't make you industry-ready, but students are very hardworking and work to reach the industry level. The passing mark for semester exams is 30%, but students try to get 60%. Overall, it is the best college.

Decent infrastructure. Offers courses at a reasonable price. Hostel food is not that good.
Placements: 60-70 percent of students are placed in our college, including non-technical and technical jobs. The minimum package is 2-4 LPA, the average package is 6-7 LPA, and the highest goes up to 15-17 LPA. Companies like TCS visit the campus. Top roles offered are front-end developer, Java developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but average. The infrastructure provided has improved over time. There is a library with a number of books. Wi-Fi is available. The food quality in the hostel is average. Medical facilities are available. The college owns its ambulance.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very knowledgeable, especially the registrar of the college. However, one teacher is below average. The course is relevant, and the college also provides added courses that help to prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are a bit difficult, but internal exams are easier.
Other: Events are regularly held in the college. The fest named Srijan is held every year, where singers are called. Scholarships are provided for students in the first year.
