    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Is JB Knowledge Park good for B.E./B.Tech?

    Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've summarized:

    * Teaching Quality: While some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, others may not be qualified or experienced enough to teach B.E./B.Tech students. (Some teachers have Ph.D.s or M.Tech degrees)
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is considered good, but some students feel it lacks relevance to real-world scenarios and industrial requirements. Practical knowledge is limited, and theoretical focus dominates.
    * Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is relatively good, with modern classrooms, labs, and recreational facilities. However, some buildings and equipment are outdated.
    * Placement Record: Placement rates are moderate, around 40-60%, with average salary offers ranging from INR3-12 Lacs per annum. Fewer companies visit the campus, and internship opportunities are scarce.
    * Campus Life: The campus atmosphere is average, with occasional events and fests. Transportation services are inadequate, and students face issues with attendance and late payments.
    * Student Support: Faculty members are generally helpful, willing to assist with doubts, and supportive.

    While JB Knowledge Park has its strengths, such as a good campus infrastructure and helpful faculty, it falls short in terms of course curriculum relevance, placement record, and overall reputation among students and employers.

    Here's a summary rating:

    * Teaching Quality: 6/10
    * Course Curriculum: 5/10
    * Infrastructure: 7/10
    * Placement Record: 5/10
    * Campus Life: 6/10
    * Student Support: 7/10

    Overall Rating: 6.2/10

    Keep in mind that these ratings are based on individual perspectives and may vary depending on personal experiences and expectations. It's essential to research thoroughly and weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision about pursuing a B.E./B.Tech programme at JB Knowledge Park.

    Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.E. / B.Tech at JB Knowledge Park?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Course Curriculum

    * The course curriculum is considered average by some students.
    * It focuses mainly on theory, with less emphasis on practical applications.
    * Some students feel that the curriculum does not prepare them adequately for industry demands.
    * Others believe that the curriculum is relevant, but could benefit from updates and changes to reflect current industry trends.

    Teaching Quality

    * Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable.
    * Some teachers have Ph.D.s or higher degrees in their respective fields.
    * While teaching quality is acceptable, it may vary between professors.
    * Lab classes are sometimes denied by teachers, citing a shortage of instructors.

    Industry Readiness

    * The course curriculum does not entirely make students industry-ready, according to some students.
    * Practical skills and training are limited, leading to a gap between academic preparation and industry expectations.
    * However, some students have reported receiving guidance and support from teachers during internships and projects.

    Overall, while JB Knowledge Park's B.E./B.Tech programme has its strengths, such as helpful faculty and good infrastructure, the course curriculum faces criticism for being outdated and lacking sufficient practical exposure. Addressing these concerns might improve student outcomes and preparedness for the workforce.

    Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.E. / B.Tech students at JB Knowledge Park?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Placement Cell Success Rate

    Based on student reviews, here's what we know about the placement cell:

    * Limited success: According to one student, "There is no placement cell in my college; sometimes one or two companies come and take students, mostly non-tech companies."
    * Low salaries: Companies that visit the campus typically offer low salaries, with an average package of INR3 LPA (lakhs per annum) and the highest being INR8 LPA.
    * Few campus placements: Out of 100% students, only around 20-30% manage to secure campus placements.

    Dissatisfied with the placements and faculty.
    Placements: There is no placement cell in my college; sometimes one or two companies come and take students, mostly non-tech companies. And they offer very low salaries. The average salary is 3 LPA. The highest is 8 LPA. Very few students gets campus placements—hardly 20–30 percent of students.
    Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is huge but old and not in good condition. Sometimes there is no electricity for 1–2 hours. Labs are there, but the computers are to old and not compatible for today's coding and development. The library is average but all old versions of books are available there. I'm not a host, but many of my friends often complain about hostels, like the lack of proper food and lighting. The mess food is below average. There are sports grounds like basketball, football, and volleyball, but they are not providing proper equipment.
    Faculty: The teachers are helpful but not that qualified; they are qualified to teach 11th–12th grade students. The course curriculum is good but our college is not able to complete it properly. The curriculum is more theoretical than practical. The semester exams are like nothing in my college; everyone cheats and gets passed with good numbers. 70–80 percent of students pass every subject.
    Other: I chose this course because it has good future scope and job opportunities. The course have many subjects which are directly related to jobs. campus crowd is average, and the connectivity is below average. The road connectivity from the college to the city is very bad and broken. The campus surroundings is good but everything is far away from the college. Events takes place but only once in a year.

    I am satisfied with facilities.
    Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, Samsung, Google, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internships. The top role offered is a data analyst.
    Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. The quality of food in the canteen is excellent. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs are excellent. Our classrooms and libraries are very clean. Many books are available in the library. The hostel facilities are good. The quality of the food is good.
    Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams are average. All teachers are well qualified and provide great notes to students with well-known things.
    Other: I chose this course to become a software engineer. The most valuable things and practicals they provide us are helpful for us to pursue our careers.

    A genuine review of JBKP.
    Placements: There is only 5-6 percent of students who get a placement after college. The average package is 250,000 to 400,000. The companies here are only startup companies, which cannot provide you much. Internship opportunities in our college are almost none; only 2-3 percent of students get internships from college.
    Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are very good; it has 2 seminar halls, various kinds of labs, and average classrooms. But the internet connection is not good; the Wi-Fi is not in working condition. I like the canteen because it provides good food on a budget, and I don’t know much about the hostel, but I think the hostel is kind of average.
    Faculty: I like my course because I love learning about technology. Teachers have good qualifications and knowledge about subjects, but our college hires teachers for a time period. In my opinion, they only focus on theoretical knowledge and teach from a book; there are almost no practical classes. Talking about exams, it is quite average; you can clear your exam just by studying for 2-3 days before exams.
    Other: I selected this course because of technology demands, and they can teach you better if they teach you practically. The events and festivals are great; you can enjoy a lot.

    It is the best private college for B.Tech and BCA with the best infrastructure.
    Placements: It is one of the private colleges which provides 100% placements for all the branches of B.Tech and BCA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Tata Sky, Skype, etc.
    Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are very good. All the classrooms have air-conditioners. Labs are the best with all types of machines. Wi-Fi, a gym, and a playground are provided in the hostel. Our college has a good environment for sports. It has about 22 acres of land.
    Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They guide students for exams and placements. Our college conducts extracurricular activities related to the industry. Semester exams are normal if students study. The pass percentage is 37%. If students pay attention towards studies they can get a bright future.
    Other: I chose B.Tech because nowadays everyone like CSE for better placements and to learn programming languages like Java for web development, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The course fee charges are Rs.50,000 per annum and Rs.5,000 extra for exam fee. Students who want bus or cab have to pay Rs.5,000 per semester. Scholarships are provided for OBC.

    Honest review of JB Knowledge Park college.
    Placements: As heard from my seniors, 60-70 percent of students get placement from the college. The highest package offered is 8 lakhs and the lowest is 4 lakhs. Internship is also provided. Senior engineer is the role offered.
    Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. A sports ground and canteen are available. Hostel and classroom are also well-built. Library is normal with enough number of books. Labs and Wi-Fi are available. The canteen serves good food.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful as they are there for students in any situation. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. I don't know if the curriculum is relevant or not as I am still studying. The exams are not difficult and the passing percentage is 80.
    Other: Scholarships are available for students and the college staff provides all the information regarding it. More practical knowledge should be provided to students.

    I am satisfied with the infrastructure, below-average placement in 2022, and kind-hearted teachers.
    Placements: Placement is not very good. Very few companies visit the campus and they don't offer very good packages. Even the highest package is very low. I am not satisfied with my placement after getting admitted to the college. Didn't get much company for my course. Only 50% of students got placement.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good for the college. There is a separate building for campus and hostel. Hostel facilities are even very good. Infrastructure is the best part of college. The campus has free Wi-Fi and the library is also very big. Mess food is available for non-hostlers at a very affordable cost.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind except for 2- 3 rude teachers. The course syllabus is all good for industry-based work. Semester exams are quite difficult but there is one good thing, the pass percentage which is 33%. But students can get good marks by studying a little hard.
    Other: I chose B tech from here because it was affordable comparing it from other colleges in Faridabad. The thing which can be better was teaching quality. The campus crowd is awesome and helpful. The scholarship is also available for OBC and SC /ST students. Extracurricular activities are often organised by campus and students as well.
