Honest review about Jhulelal Institute of Technology.
Placements: The average package offered is between 3 and 5 lakhs per annum, and the highest package is 8 lakhs per annum. However, these numbers may vary depending on the engineering branch.
Infrastructure: Jhulelal Institute of Technology has one of the best campuses. The washrooms are not hygienic and clean, but they are much better than other colleges. The campus is green and has ample space for parking and other amenities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful but not very qualified. Most of the teachers are graduates of Jhulelal Institute of Technology, and some are partial to certain students. The curriculum is easy and relevant, but it doesn't prepare students for the industry.
Other: This college doesn't have a lot of events, but they do have a grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebration that is one of their biggest events.

Take admission at your own risk because you might get a better college.
Placements: There were a total of 180 candidates who appeared, and only 15 of them got placed. The highest package was 7 LPA, the average was 3.6 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Recruiting companies were Accenture, Cruise Spider, and DeltaX. They do not provide any internship program; students have to go out and search for internships on their own. The main role offered was Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: There are only two buildings available in this college, and both buildings have four floors, including the ground floor. Each floor represents an individual branch. They do not provide Wi-Fi; even our own network is not working inside the campus. Their labs are totally useless; they don't even give effort to preparing or replacing the damaged systems or outdated software. They do not have their own hostel; instead, they have a partnership with a few of the nearby PGs where they give accommodation to the students who are from anywhere else than Nagpur. The canteen is also very small and non-AC with poor food quality and additional cooling charges. The sitting capacity is also very less.
Faculty: The teaching staff is sometimes helpful, but most of the time they just hand over things to other staff, leading to misguidance and wasting students' time and effort. The course is relevant and appropriate, but the staff teaching the course need to have a little more knowledge and practical examples, which I found absent in this college. Semester exams are quite easy and predictable, as most of the questions are either repeated or easy ones, but sometimes they ask questions beyond the syllabus and even change the paper pattern, which leads to backlogs for many students in that particular subject.
Other: I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from this college. Currently, I am in the 3rd year/5th semester. The course is very useful, but they need to give more attention to practical knowledge than just teaching theory all the time. We need a better understanding of software, better systems and networks to search and learn new things, and better staff for explanations. There are hardly any events; only a few of them are worth attending. Otherwise, even students prefer taking leave rather than attending those events. The campus crowd is 30% of its original strength. The surroundings are all green fields for agriculture. They help students get their scholarships. There is no such thing as extracurricular activity.

Developing and autonomous.
Placements: Top recruitment companies are Capgemini and TCS, preferably for computer science majors. The highest package I heard about through my seniors was 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. I don't have an idea about the placement rate, but it can be above 40.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, and some of the PCs available in labs don't work. Also, the girls' washroom facilities could really improve if they took better care of them. Most of the students living in hostels don't get college hostels and prefer PG instead.
Faculty: The teaching staff is helpful and supportive, but there are some faculty members and departments that can be cranky. My exams are held this month, and there's still a lot of confusion about them. We aren't introduced to the coursework much since it's just the beginning, and coping with the tons of work assigned has been a rush.
Other: I got this course because of the cutoff through CAPs. I didn't want it, but compared to other colleges, it doesn't offer my desired courses like cyber security and data science, so I have to compromise with the one I got. I have to look for those opportunities outside. The college does hold fests and events, which is good.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements:
Yes, placement is good, but in college, the student placement ratio is very low. I can tell you that the highest placed person in our college got 10 lac, and the average package is around 4 to 5 lac. In my course, companies like TCS and Infosys will be placing students.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel, but there is Wi-Fi, though the internet of that Wi-Fi is not working. Labs are very good compared to anything. Our classroom has an AC, it's very clean, and it has dustbins as well. The library is very good, and the teaching staff in the library is very good.
Faculty: Very good. The teachers are very nice. They just help us with their brains, but also concentrate on us personally. They are all well-qualified, and the quality of teaching is very good. Yes, this course is very good. It will provide us with what we need in the industry.
Other: The campus is a little decent but very good.

Not a place that focuses on education. Stay away from this college!
Placements: The placement services at this college are awful. They provide almost no support in finding jobs, and their connections with companies are weak. If you want good job prospects, don't waste your time and money here. There are many companies displayed in the training and placement department, but only 2 to 3 companies have shown up.
Infrastructure: The staff is not polite, there is no practical knowledge, and there are no placements! This college only focuses on showoff. The computer science labs are clean but have operating systems and other software from the past decade. Labs here are not built for practical use. This college is only built for money and not for education.
Faculty: The computer science staff are rude and unhelpful. I have countless experiences of this. I have never seen students get so aggressive with teachers as I saw in these four years of graduation, as the staff made us act like this. Mechanical and other departments have good staff, to be honest.

Absolutely satisfied because of good teaching quality and facilities provided.
Placements: 60% - 65% of students were placed in the CSE department. The highest package is 8 LPA and the average to below-average package is 3 LPA to 3.6 LPA. Top companies like Accenture visit for placement in the Jhulelal Institute of Technology to fill roles offered by the companies like software trainee engineer .
Infrastructure: The library facility is very good. They give us 2 BT cards by which we can issue any book from the library for 15 days. Classrooms are very comfortable and clean. JIT does not provide hostel facilities. Otherwise, in this college there is a canteen. JIT also provides sports equipment to play.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality depends on the teachers but their are many teachers who have a good quality of teaching. They provide industry-related information, what industry needs from the employees, etc. The semester exam is not as difficult.
