AICTE Scholarships in JIET Institute:
Pragati Scholarships (For Girls only):
Eligibility:-
1. Passed in XII with a minimum of 60%.
2. Family Income is less than 800000/- for All Category.
3. Without Gap from XII to Graduation.
Amount of Scholarship: - 50000 per annum.
PMSSS Scholarships (For J&K and Ladakh Residents):
Eligibility:-
1. Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Resident.
2. Amount of Scholarship: - College Fee + 100000/- per annum.
Government scholarships:
Social Justice & Empowerment Department:
Eligibility:-
1. passed the Last Exam.
2. Family Income is less than 150000/- for OBC Candidates who belong to BPL/ son, the widow's daughter. 250000/- for ST, SC Candidates Amount of Scholarship: - More than Tuition Fee (Deposited Tuition Fee + SJED norm)/Included Receipt Process of Apply.
Chief Minister Scholarship:
Eligibility:-
1. This Scholarship is for only B. Tech I year Students.
2. Passed XII with a minimum of 63% from RBSE in the Last academic year.
3. Family Income is less than 250000/- for All Category.
4. Amount of Scholarship: - 5000/- Per Annum.

Placements: Few students got placed and the average salary package is also not very much as expected, it's 2 LPA-3 LPA. Rarely some companies visit with 20 LPA to more than 30 LPA salary packages. There are criteria if one wants to get placed like the CGPA, 10th and 12th percentage should be eligible to sit for placements.
Placements: According to my college, 100 percent placement is guaranteed, but the truth is that around 95 percent of students got placed. The highest placement in my college was 33 LPA, which was placed in 2023, and the average package is around 7 LPA. Companies like TCS visit our college, and it depends on the skill of the students how they get placed.
Placements: In my B.Teach course, only 50–60% % students get placements and most of the remaining student either pursue high-level degree or open a privately owned business. The highest package we ever got was 33 LPA, and the lowest we got was 2 LPA. Placements: My college name JIET. My class total students is 60. My college the highest placement is 20 Lacs, the lowest is 3 Lacs, and the average placement is 7 Lacs. 70.4% of interns get offered a job after an internship. Of those, 79.6% accept the offer they get. While candidates don't need to have an internship to get hired, an internship certainly helps.
Placements: There is no 100% placement guarantee in our college. When we took admission we were assured of a placement. After a discussion with seniors, we realized that it is fake. They said that our college offers an average salary package of 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA. After admission, many seniors got placed in different companies, but no one got a salary of more than 5 LPA.
Placements: A very few percentage of students get placed in this college because only some companies visit the campus. The highest salary package offered in our college is 33 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, etc. Students did not get internships because companies do not visit the college to provide internships.
