AICTE Scholarships in JIET Institute:
Pragati Scholarships (For Girls only):
Eligibility:-
1. Passed in XII with a minimum of 60%.
2. Family Income is less than 800000/- for All Category.
3. Without Gap from XII to Graduation.
Amount of Scholarship: - 50000 per annum.
PMSSS Scholarships (For J&K and Ladakh Residents):
Eligibility:-
1. Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Resident.
2. Amount of Scholarship: - College Fee + 100000/- per annum.
Government scholarships:
Social Justice & Empowerment Department:
Eligibility:-
1. passed the Last Exam.
2. Family Income is less than 150000/- for OBC Candidates who belong to BPL/ son, the widow's daughter. 250000/- for ST, SC Candidates Amount of Scholarship: - More than Tuition Fee (Deposited Tuition Fee + SJED norm)/Included Receipt Process of Apply.
Chief Minister Scholarship:
Eligibility:-
1. This Scholarship is for only B. Tech I year Students.
2. Passed XII with a minimum of 63% from RBSE in the Last academic year.
3. Family Income is less than 250000/- for All Category.
4. Amount of Scholarship: - 5000/- Per Annum.

Placements: There is no 100% placement guarantee in our college. When we took admission we were assured of a placement. After a discussion with seniors, we realized that it is fake. They said that our college offers an average salary package of 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA. After admission, many seniors got placed in different companies, but no one got a salary of more than 5 LPA.
Placements: Placements cell of JIET is very good. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Around 98% of students are placed this year. JIET and Poornima are owned by the same person, so when a student is not placed in JIET, they can take part in Poornima's placement. Some of the MNCs are the same.
Placements: In my B.Teach course, only 50–60% % students get placements and most of the remaining student either pursue high-level degree or open a privately owned business. The highest package we ever got was 33 LPA, and the lowest we got was 2 LPA. The top companies which recruit here are V project India, Polaris smart metering pct, Mechlin Technologies, etc. The percentage of students who get internship from our course is around 9200% and most of the companies are found through the web portals of the col...
Placements: Placements percentage is good. Our college provides many opportunities for placements. Many companies are waiting for students in college. College tries its best to provide placements to all students, treating them like friends.
Placements: In terms of placement, JIET College is good. The highest salar package offered is 33 LPA. If students learn skills, they will get a good placement. From the 5th semester, internships start, and placement rate is 80%. Students can also get good placements off-campus.
Placements: A very few percentage of students get placed in this college because only some companies visit the campus. The highest salary package offered in our college is 33 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, etc. Students did not get internships because companies do not visit the college to provide internships.
