B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.8

A comprehensive review of JNTUHUCEJ.
Placements: Students who score above 7.5% in academics get selected for placements. Students who have thorough skills in their own courses also get selected. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 23 LPA. Placements are based on our internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have a lot of facilities to utilise like labs, a digital library, classrooms, etc. The hostel food is not as good as expected. We have a small canteen and medical facilities. If anything happens to students then they get treatment there.
Faculty: Faculty members are teaching well. They help students to clear doubts about their core subjects. They help with competitive exam preparation. The syllabus is not fully completed during the end of the semester because there is no time to complete the syllabus. We have to prepare the notes on our own.
Other: I chose this course because mechanical engineering is a very interesting course to learn more knowledge. The campus infrastructure and weather are good. Extracurricular activities are also conducted in our college. There is no same time to celebrate for girls and boys. Some discrimination between girls and boys is shown.

The comprehensive review of JNTUHUCEJ.
Placements: In our college, around 50% of students got placed according to their CGPAs. The trip companies are hiring students based on their talents and skills. In mechanical engineering, top companies like Benz, etc., visit the college. Based on their skills, companies will give you a good salary per annum.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in our college. The infrastructure of the college is also good. We have a lot of facilities to use like a lab, library, etc. We also have Wi-Fi in the college and hostel. There is a small dispensary, canteen, sports ground, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are teaching well but in a normal way. We have to make efforts to study. Faculty won't complete their syllabus in the semester. We have to prepare notes for exams and competitive exams also. The semester is moderate to get passing marks. We have to prepare notes from textbooks, Google, etc.
Other: Mechanical engineering is a very interesting course. We can create more memorable things.

Supportive Faculty and Modern Facilities but Needs Better Placement Opportunities.
Placements: College placements were below average and 2 to 3 members were selected from each branch. There were no more scope in on-campus placements. We were looking forward to off-campus placements because our college was a government college. Handy College was far from the city.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. But actually, there was no civil engineering in my college. The infrastructure has one block for CSE and IT, another block for ECE and EEE, and for mechanical, there is an admin block too. In that admin block, only first-year students will be there.
Faculty: The college was overall good. Our college exam fee was around 800 for each semester. The faculty in most technical colleges plays a pivotal role in shaping a student’s academic journey, and this is no different at JNTU. The teachers here are generally helpful, offering guidance to students who seek it. Most are approachable and willing to clarify doubts both inside and outside the classroom. However, the level of interaction largely depends on the teacher’s individual style. The faculty qualifications are typically solid, with many holding advanced degrees like M.Tech or Ph.D.
Other: The college hosts several annual events and technical fests, which provide a platform for students to showcase their skills and network with peers. Extracurricular activities like coding competitions, robotics workshops, and cultural events are fairly common. However, participation can be limited due to the academic load.

JNTUHU College of Engineering Jagitial review.
Placements: The batch I am doing is related to software. Nowadays, software is growing drastically, so this is one of the best options to choose. But we need to work hard in this software field because nowadays the software has more competition.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in this college. Labs are conducted according to the schedule, and we have the library facility. We can use the library from 8 am to 8 pm on working days, and on holidays this will last from 10 am to 5 pm, and it is closed on official holidays.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified teachers, and they will solve our each and every problem related to our academics. They are also very helpful in solving our doubts, and each and every year they will conduct group projects, and those projects are very helpful for our growth.
Other: All the information is mentioned above.

Really a good college for hardworking students.
Placements: 40% of students are placed every year. I think the highest package is 10 lakhs per annum. The lowest package is 5 lakhs per annum. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture recruit. 60% of students got internships for their skills. Top roles offered in our course are data scientist and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: The labs and infrastructure of the college are very good. The equipment in the lab is also good. Wi-Fi is provided in the computer lab and library. Wi-Fi is also provided in the hostel TV hall. The facilities in the hostel, like geysers and maintenance, are good. Sports competitions are also conducted every year.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the faculty is very good. We can understand tough concepts easily. There is hands-on experience in the lab. The curriculum is present now for students to study. The paper correction of JNTU college is very tough. That's why the percentage of JNTU students is less.
Other: Every year a fest is conducted in our college. Arts day is conducted and a cultural night is also conducted. Annual day is conducted.

Really good, as expected.
Placements: It's okay for a government engineering college. The placements are good, and every department takes care of the placement of all students. The companies visit the college every year for hiring students, and the students get hired through the knowledge imparted in the college.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure has the best infrastructure for a student who is looking for daily enhancement of his knowledge. There are free computer labs where they are mostly opened. Hostels are provided as a luxury for first years; still, the senior hostels are okay to stay.
Faculty: The faculty, as per my experience, is a good one. As for my department, I consider all other teachers best. As for the government college, in places, the curriculum is provided by the college. The exams are conducted strictly every time mid-exams are taken.
Other: Fests happen more often than expected.
