It is a suitable college for students.

Placements: Placement is possible for every student if he or she has no backlog. Many companies are coming for placements. Over 50 companies are coming this year. Infosys is the first-day company, and Capgemini is the 2nd-day company. About 200+ students were selected out of 700+ students.

It has a good learning environment. If someone focuses on 4 years, then they will get the results.

Placements: The placement for CSE, IT, and ECE are fine. Almost, 40-50 percent of the students got placed. The average placement is between 2-3 lacs per annum. Infosys and Capgemini offer the highest placement. Many other companies like Just pay, Appeal Group, HFC, and Linkruit are also visiting here. The internship is offered to the students, which are around 70% with an average stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month.

The best private college in this area.

Placements: The college helps the students to acquire access to ample opportunities of getting placed in the best companies in the current market scenario. Around, 75-80% of the students get placed. The highest package offered in our batch is 6 LPA until now. The lowest package is 1.2 LPA. The companies that visited our campus include Capgemini, Collabera, Skillrock Technologies, HFFC, Techbiz, Anand Rathi Group and many others. The roles offered were of software analyst, associate system engineer, sales an...

The fees are low, but the quality of education is very good.

Placements: The placement of my college is good. Most of the students are placed in Infosys, Capgemini, marketing company etc. In Infosys very year 30-40 student is placed at an average package of 3.5 LPA. The highest package of our college is 24 LPa given by a South African company. Anyone can be placed in our college with the aggregate of 60% in 3 years.

All over, not satisfied. This college needs to improve in the technical aspects.

Placements: The placements are below average. The highest salary is 6LPA, and the lowest salary is 1.4 LPA. Both software and management domain companies came for the campus placements. There were companies like Infosys, Capgemini and many others offered roles of software developers or CS engineers and also many of them came for the management field.

JIET is like a school and not a college

Placements: Placements for our batch were not much good as only 4 students were placed out of 80 students. The highest salary package offered here is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.3 LPA. Day 1 companies are Infosys and Capgemini. Other companies which visit here are non-technical, and they want businessman and not an engineer. Internships are not provided by this college.

Number 1 engineering college in Western Rajasthan.

Placements: The placements offered in our batch is almost 20%. The highest salary offered was 4.5 LPA and the average salary offered was 2.6 LPA. The companies visited are Infosys, Capgemini, Apeal group and HFFC. The companies offered the technical manager or supervisor role. I am satisfied with my college. The faculty is always available for help.

Placements: There is almost 70% placement for computer science and IT students but very less for mechanical students. Also, there is average placement for other branches. IBM, Infosys, Indian Navy, etc. are major recruiters. The college provides virtual campus placement activity so that the students can learn how to deal with the interview.

All the facilities are good except the HOD of the mechanical department.

Placements: There are no good opportunities for the mechanical engineering student, but the college tries their best to get more placements for the students. The college makes many programs to develop the ability of the student. Almost, 40-60% of the students got placed. The highest package is 12.5 lacs per annum, and the lowest is three lacs per annum. The college provides the full fee for the students, who are not able to pay it.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Out of 800 students in a final year, 60-70 students got placements in every year. Infosys, Capgemini, etc., are the companies visited our Campus. The average salary offered was 3.6 LPA, the highest salary offered was 4.2 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies hire for the post of engineer.

In my college, two shifts are available for study hours. The first shift starts at 7.30 AM.

Placements: In the placement session, more than 150 students out of 850 were selected. In my batch, 120 students out of 200 have a percentage of 60%. So this college is good for average students.

The best college for the quality education.

Placements: Last year, our department got the highest placement offer of Rs. 24 lacs per annum. This year, the students got selected in Infosys and Capgemini. These two companies are the major recruiters in our college. And, the government companies such as Indian Air Force and Army also come to our college for the placements.

A good college with proper discipline

Placements: The placements were fine. They got a few reputed companies. They also had multiple AMCAT drives conducted on the campus which increased placements. The highest salary was around 8.5 LPA and the lowest was in the range of 2.5 to 3 LPA. Overall, the campus placement percentage might not be that high but compared to most other colleges of Jodhpur, it was better.

Are we really in an engineering college? If yes, then where is the innovation and learning?

Placements: Not even 40% of the students get placed in the companies via campus interviews. At our time, we welcomed Infosys, Act TV and other companies. However, the situation was poor because the aptitude required was not matched by the students and even though there are lectures kept to reduce the gap, the efficiency is questionable. Other opportunities are provided in terms of off-campus placements which are coordinated by the placement cell. No student body is present, which gives the power to the ad...

The worst decision of my life

Placements: The placement scenario in this college is very poor and not even 50% of the batch get placed. Major companies that come for recruiting are L&T, Infosys, Accenture and a few more IT companies. The number of offers they give is way less than what other major colleges get.

College is good. Quality of students' intake has declined a bit in past few years.

Placements: The college intensively prepares its students to sit and crack aptitude exams of leading companies. In our Batch, they provided a short-term "TIME" sponsored a free training session of 15 days when Infosys was visiting our campus. Being not that a great fish in the pool out there, fairly good companies visited the campus, part of it was possible due to a large network of the college alumnus. The TPO cell HR was kind enough to call as many companies as possible, but they won't let you stay in an...

Really good choice for computer science students with opportunities in sports also.

Placements: Placements are good for computer science and IT branches only, and there are a few companies for electronics branch also. For students of civil, mechanical, and electrical, there is only one company- Infosys and joining Infosys is a headache (too late). IT companies were there for hiring after January including Josh Technologies, Skillrock, Tnaya Soft. Overall, placements are good for computer science, IT and ECE only.

Benefits of being a part of JIET.

Placements: Placement is the main concern in every college but at JIET, it was not a problem as 80% of students get placed. The main reason for such a high percentage of selection is because of rich and practical knowledge given by the teachers. Most of the companies are from software and management field, for example, Infosys, ICICI Bank etc. The core companies for civil students are L&T and GRIL.

An honest review of this college.

Placements: As compared to other local colleges, placements were fairly good. The highest on-campus placement was 8 lakh and off-campus was about 23 lakhs. Infosys, IBM, ACT TV, Indian Army, etc. were some of the recruiters. Average package was approximately 3.2 lakhs.
