Expectations were high but the reality of the college.
Placements: A minimum of 75 % of students got placed in various MNC companies from our college. Students received the highest package of 40 LPA and 3.5 LPA of average package. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and Deloitte are some of the top recruiting companies. Almost every student gets an internship in companies like TCS, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Various facilities like food court, library, well-maintained labs, Gymkhana, clean and fresh classroom, playground, etc. Are available. For cultural programmes seminar hall is also available. In the boy's hostel washing machines, water purifiers, well-cleaned rooms, and Wi-Fi facilities are available.
Faculty: Well, most professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. However, teaching quality and teaching methods are not so good. This course and curriculum are mostly relevant for students who only study 24/7 rather than ignoring important aspects like physical development. Semester exams are moderate and 90% of students pass this exam.
Other: I took this course because I was interested and curious about the tech field. The best thing about this course is the various challenges. I think the curriculum should be slightly easier. The crowd is below average, events and fest are not being organised. Scholarship and campus surroundings are brilliant. The staff are very supportive. Extracurricular activity is not being conducted or initiated by any faculty.

The life of BSIOTR student.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in our college is about 80 percent. The top recruiting companies in our college are Wipro, TCS, Microsoft, and Google, and many more companies often pay the visit. The top roles offered were HR and higher-post employee.
Infrastructure: The college campus infrastructure here is very good and has a greenery nature area that has been surrounding it everywhere. There are big classrooms, and every classroom has been equipped with a camera and Wi-Fi. The staff members and faculty members are very humble and have a helping nature towards students.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and are related to higher-efficient teaching. It is highly related to our day-to-day lives and helps in our skill building. The semester is quite easy, and the passing criteria is also not high; we have to score 40 marks out of 100.
Other: As from childhood, I was interested in this course as it has been highly related to our day-to-day lives and we can learn skills from it for enhancing my existing skills. I joined this college. The course should not include the writing work of practicals and assignments and include practical knowledge.

Not upto the expectations.
Placements: ? Well of all students who took admissions that year,20%of them were placed in my course ?The highest package was like 40lpa,the lowest can be from 2 lpa to the average as 6lpa. ?The top recruiting comapnies in my course were capgemini and tcs. ?About really less percent of them got yhe internships
Infrastructure: ?Hostel facility was only available for the female students. ?Rather overall features were fine. ?The food quality was really out of question,so I majorly used to avoid it. ?The canteen services were average . ?The labs were under equipped ,so would be really nice if the focus on labrotary infrastructure.
Faculty: ?The teachers were really helpfull and approaching. ?Well it is upto us how we vision the course itself,so if we are looking for a industry ready resume we need more than just the curriculums. ?The semester exams were divisional boards ,so the diffuculty levels cannot depend on the college.
Other: ?I choose this course as it really reaches to my curiosity in science and technology domain . ?The course would be really beneficial if it had the recent skill curriculum.

Absolutely satisfied, increase in placement rate from 2022, good campus infrastructure.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is excellent. Various top MNCs such as Infosys, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, and Deloitte come for recruitment. The highest package achieved by a student from our college to date is 40 LPA. The average package is 3-4 LPA, and about 50% of students get placed with above-average packages.
Infrastructure: There are separate classrooms for each department, and each classroom has a smart board and high-speed Wi-Fi. The labs are well-equipped with updated PCs and accessories. The college library has a variety of books helpful for students studying for competitive exams such as MPSC, UPSC, and GATE. The college canteen is good but not as great compared to other colleges.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are very well qualified and have unique teaching techniques that help students understand the core of the subject. There are mainly two exams held in one semester: Insem and Endsem. The Insem is worth 30 marks and is based on the first two units of the subjects, while the Endsem is worth 70 marks and covers the next four units. The Insem is easier compared to the Endsem.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in technology and software development. The course is a bit theoretical, which makes it difficult for students to relate to real-world problems. There is one main cultural festival organized in February called Nakshatra. The college library has various books helpful for students studying for competitive exams such as MPSC, UPSC, and GATE. There are various clubs run by students such as GDSC, MLSC, ITSA, and Coders Club. There are also various scholarships available for students through the Maharashtra Government's Mahadbt portal, such as the EBC scholarship for general category students, which reduces 50% of tuition fees, and the post-matric scholarship for OBC students.

JSPM’s Bhivarabai Sawant Institute of Technology and Research, a must visit college.
Placements: The student placement percentage at this college is around 90 percent. The highest package offered was 40 LPA, and the average package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiters of the college students include PTC, Infosys, TATA, and Mahindra. In addition, 80 percent of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The department provides all the basic and important facilities. It has Wi-Fi, various labs for practical work, and a separate programming lab for each subject. The college provides mattresses and Wi-Fi in the private hostel for boys.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and always available to answer questions. The teachers are well qualified, and most have a master's degree in their subject area, with many having a Ph.D. The course curriculum is relevant and provides students with the knowledge and experience they need to succeed in the industry. The semester exams are administered by the university and are moderately difficult. A passing grade is 40 percent.
Other: I liked the course I took at this college because it provided me with the overall knowledge and development I needed. I especially liked the annual function, which was the main attraction of the college. The campus crowd was very good and provided a proper environment for my overall development. The college also provided scholarships and offered extracurricular activities and sports events.

It is the best college for academics, not for enjoyment.
Placements: This year, the highest package is 6-8 Lacs. 40 Lacs was received by one student only two years ago through off-campus placement. We have heard that there are not sufficient placements here, so we need to focus on off-campus opportunities. Many students receive packages of 3-4 Lacs only. If you are satisfied, you can join.
Infrastructure: The hostel is okay except for the water, which is not purified, and the geyser is available only until 9 am in the morning. To leave the campus, you need to video call your parents and show them, then they give you a GATE pass. You need to show it to the watchman and then write an entry. This protocol is for girls.
Faculty: College life in this institution revolves solely around exams. There is nothing except exams. They conduct unit tests, retests, and prelims regularly, but there are no extracurricular activities or practical experiences provided to students. Attendance is also crucial and must be above 75%; otherwise, you need to solve previous year question papers. The students' grades are very good because of this.
Other: There is no festival. Lectures are also held during holidays, which last for only 3 days, and the annual event lasts for only 3-4 hours. We didn't expect any functions from the college. Don't trust videos from social media because they are all from other colleges on the campus.
