Q:   How effective is the placement cell for M.E./M.Tech courses at JSPM Narhe?

    A:
    {Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}

    Placement Cell Effectiveness:

    * Average Package: The highest package offered is around 10 LPA, while the average package is around 3 LPA (as mentioned by one student).
    * Number of Placed Students: About 60% of students got placed in the passing batch (according to another student), indicating a relatively good placement record.
    * Top Recruiters: Companies like TATA, CISCO, MAHINDRA, and BHARAT BENZ visit the campus for recruitment, offering various roles such as design engineer, project manager, and research analyst.
    * Internship Opportunities: Internship opportunities are available, providing students with hands-on experience and exposure to industry requirements.

While the placement cell seems to be doing reasonably well, some students expressed concerns about the need for improvements in certain areas, such as:

    * Industry Collaboration: One student mentioned that the tech fest, "Tech Expo," could benefit from more industry collaborations.

Overall, the placement cell appears to be making efforts to place students in reputed companies, offering competitive packages and internships. However, some scope exists for further enhancements and collaborations to improve the overall effectiveness of the placement process.

    JSPM Narhe Institute review.
Placements: Percentage of students placed in my course in the best companies in India was more than 80%. The highest package offered from the top companies is more than 15 Lakh CTC. The percentage of students doing internships in companies is more than 30%.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are so good, but the infrastructure is not well. Wi-Fi, labs, and library are available for the students. The quality and facilities in the hostel and canteen are very good, but the food is not good. Medical and sports facilities are available for all students.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are very good and qualified, so knowledgeable. The teaching quality of every teacher is also good. The course curriculum is also industry-ready. The semester exams in my college are not difficult; every student can pass.
Other: The best thing about the course is that we have to work only on practicals; there is no need to get lots of theory. Nothing needs to improve in my course. Events, campus crowd, festivals, everything happens. Extracurricular activities are always in my college.

    Very good infrastructure is there.
Placements: 85% of students have been placed. The highest package is 6 Lacs, and the lowest package is 3 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and IndiaMart. 40% of the students got internships from Tata. The top roles offered are software developer and developer.
Infrastructure: There is outstanding infrastructure available, and for each course there is a department and there are labs and classrooms, and the quality of the food was very good, the canteen is good, the medical facilities are okay, and we have good sports and games here.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they are well qualified and knowledgeable with their teaching skills, and the course's curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is nearly 60-70%, and the courses make students industry-ready.

Review of JSPM’s Narhe Technical Campus.
Placements: Very good placement percentages are available in any course that is more than 90%. The highest package offered for my course is 2 lacs per year. Top companies are also hiring students from this course. The student internship in the MH course is nearly 30%.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure are available for my course. The WIFI and classroom, as well as the library, are all very good and present in the course. The food quality in the canteen is so bad and tasteless. Medical facilities are present but sports facilities and games are happening.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified. They are all so knowledgeable. The teaching quality was so good. The course's curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready. The semester in my course is so easy but the pass percentage is much higher—nearly 40%.
Other: There is no desire to improve in this course. Fests are celebrated in my course. The campus crowd was so good. Extracurricular activities are a part of the course.

Review of the JSPM technical campus.
Placements: The percentage for placement in my course is 60%. The highest package offered for my course is 22 lacs per year. The average package of my course is 4 lacs. The percentage of student internships in my course is so much higher than placement; it is more than 85% in the course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my course are so good. Wi-Fi, classroom and library—all things are present in my course. The quality of food made in the canteen is so tasty and good for student health. Sports and games facilities are provided in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified. They are all so knowledgeable. The teaching quality of every teacher is so good. The course is curriculum-relevant; students go for an industry visit. The semester exam in my course is so difficult and the pass percent is so high—45% in the semester exam.
Other: The best thing about courses is that we have so many taking skills. There is nothing to improve about the course. The campus crowd at the college is so high.

    Good college but high fees.
Placements: 49 students got placed out of 80 students in our course. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package for our course is 8 LPA. We completed internships with a duration of 6 months at good companies.
Infrastructure: Of course, the infrastructure is good for our courses and departments. There are no Wi-Fi facilities, but the labs, classrooms, and library are good. Hostels provide good facilities, and the mess offers hygienic food, but the hostel is not worth the money. The canteen is good but has high prices. Medical and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: All departmental faculty members are good to students. They helped us a lot. We are lucky to have these teachers. They guide us during internships. Yes, of course, the course curriculum includes relevant activities to prepare us for the industry. Exams are a little easy to pass because teachers cover all topics and explain them in an understandable way. The passing percentage is 86.
