It is a good college to study.

Placements: There were many courses in the college whose placement record can be improved. Moreover, the faculty members and student correlation during placement can be greatly improved. Even the career counseling of the college can be improved.

It is one of the best media colleges for bachelors in media.

Placements: Jyoti Nivas College students hold a reputation as most students are getting placed in good media organisations and with an industry-standard salary package. Most of our batchmates interned in reputable media houses like Hindustan Times, TOI, etc., which gave us first-hand experience of the media industry out there.

The minimum attendance required is 75% else students are not allowed to appear for exams.

Placements: The placements for the year of my pass out was average. 40% of the finance students got placed in finance companies however only 5% of the marketing students got placed. There were 6 plus marketing companies lined up to come for placements however none of them came. As a result, marketing students have to go for off-campus placements and did not get the desired profile. Top recruiters for finance stream were EY, Goldman Sachs, KPMG etc.

The college provides good placements.

Placements: Almost all students from our college have been placed with good salary packages and good roles. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The median salary package offered was 4 LPA. Initially, all the recruiters who visited our campus hire students as interns and then based on their performance, they have offered placements.

The college has everything which a college student would wish for except that it's a girls college.

Placements: I got selected in HSBC and Orange Country (evolve back). There were no 100% placements. Our college conducts training sessions for the students to teach them the ways to clear aptitude and group discussions. They also call industry experts to give a direct opinion to the students about the industry.

An all girl's college is basically three years of amazing fun and an experience I will never forget.

Placements: Every year, various companies come in and provide job opportunities to students from various courses. There is a placement cell, the teacher helps you with the formation of your resume and other documents that are needed. A majority of people I knew got placed.

A very nice college with good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: I am still studying in the college, so I don't know much about the placements. My seniors were placed in good companies. The college offers a short-term course for placement which is very helpful in the placements. The external lecturer comes who are really experienced.

Good faculty, average infrastructure and poor administration.

Placements: The placement statistics aren't given to the students in our course. The seniors are mostly doing their Masters after graduating. Only a few are doing jobs. The alumni are all at high positions and doing very well. The only thing that the faculty told us was that the placement is only average. The salary that the seniors have is also not disclosed. The internships offered a stipend of minimum Rs.2,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month.

No importance and poor in placements, toilets are unhygienic.

Placements: The placements are bad, as they do not show any interest. Companies were not good either. The college has a placement course for which they charged Rs. 4000 which is of no use and students who had taken up the placement course were allowed to attend the placements. They rarely educate the students related to placements.

Very good place to study and learn. One can have the best personality development here.

Placements: Placements are pretty good here and there are many opportunities for bachelor's degree holders. But for MBA, placement is not that great. The placement coordinator will always be sending you for campus pull which is sometimes difficult to attend. For our batch, we are still attending campus pull. And also, if there is an interview on the college campus, then it happens in the evening, once the classes get over.

Neither too good nor too bad,a college which needs a little improvement in terms of infrastructure.

Placements: As far as the placement is concerned, many people got placed in companies like KPMG, Ernst and Young, Goldman Sachs etc. Although everyone could not be placed since it depends on the individual's capability. I lack much information regarding the salary offered by the company but heard from my friends that it might range up to 2.5 lakhs per annum.

Amidst of a busy and happening area like Koramangala, our college campus is maintained very well with a big area surrounded by greenery which makes one feel very comfortable. Though a Women's College, we are given every possible opportunity to nurture our talents in all activities other than the regular academic curriculum. If there were a better infrastructure available, I wouldn't mind calling it one of the best colleges in Bangalore, which I hope will improve in the coming years. Our batch ha...
