My college life and the unforgettable moments.

Placements: On-campus placements were excellent, and we really had to work hard as everyone out there gave us a tough fight. Also, it was difficult for the selectors, as all were performing extremely well. Hence, the process was becoming tougher and tougher, and we worked hard.

A good college and I am glad to take admission.

Placements: Talking about the placement, the college had a separate placement cell which provides internship and placement to the students. Many reputed companies come here every year or twice a year to provide internship and placements. HDFC and ICICI are always there to provide placements.

Overall, I had the good experience.

Placements: I got recruited in a CA firm along with pursuing my CA course. There were no placements from the college, so one had to get it done by themselves. It is a firm in Vashi, where I am currently working in, and it has been almost six months of experience now with the firm.

My happy days at the college life.

Placements: There were placements on the campus, but not good. Most of the students were not aware of the placement. I think only 10 to 20% of the students might get the job. The highest salary package was Rs. 15,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 10,000 per month and the average was Rs. 12,000 per month. Most of the companies were MNCs as they were offering the healthcare process, back office process, etc.

Satisfactory faculty and placement. Great infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements were not that great in the college, and only 15-20 of them got placed. The companies visiting mostly had the accounting as the profile. The average salary offered was in the range of Rs.15,000-20,000/-. The placement cell isn't that proficient. The placement cell could become more focused on students, and try to identify where the students need to get placed and their areas of interest too.

Good college, opt for it. Good atmosphere and infrastructure.

Placements: Out of 120 students, only 5 students get the job, rest have to find on their own. It is only for the commerce students, not for MBA or engineering students. But, the students get an off-campus job very easily. Because the college has a good name and it is among the top colleges.

The college has an awesome campus and the best canteen.

Placements: The companies like WNS and Pantene visit to give placements to the deserving candidates of the college, and there are different types of job opportunities here which helps many students. The students who don't have any KT's or are just passed, are not considered for the placements, and there is more than Rs. 1.5 lakhs of the package provided by the company.

K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce (KJSCAC) is the dream institute.

Placements: To be honest, we have never seen the placement cell of the college, but we have heard that Somaiya invites good companies for the placement purposes. They should have a special cell of the department which should consist of good professors as well as have good contacts.

More satisfied because of the faculty, good placement, and campus crowd.

Placements: The companies didn't visit at my time, but normally the companies are visiting the campus. But it is a most wonderful college in all over Mumbai. The highest salary they offered is 3.50 lacs per annum for B.Com. Many companies visit this college. Many students got the internship from this college.

Very much satisfied by the teaching faculty for imparting good skills in the students.

Placements: At K.J Somaiya College leading companies from multiple sectors come for hiring process in the final placement. With multiple profiles on offer, students now have a chance to get into the industry of their choice. The package here varies from 2.5-4 lacs per annum, which is very good for a B.Com graduate.

Best college in the Mumbai. The students have a lot of fun, knowledge, and experience.

Placements: More than 25 companies visited in our campus for placement. The companies from different industries like foods and cold drinks, commercial vehicle manufacturers, telecommunications industries, and many others visit the campus. I attended 3-4 companies, due to the short time, I visited Grofers express, L&T Technology, Bookmyshow, Mahindra and Mahindra. Actually, they were looking for postgraduates, but still, they give a chance for freshers to prove, my luck was not that good as I did not get sel...

Really amazing infrastructure.

Placements: Since I was a B.com student, I am not much aware of the placement. There were people who got placed and are happily working. I have passed out a year back, I have no idea about the current status. As per my knowledge, 2 or 3 banks had visited the college for the placement.

An awesome college with good staff and infrastructure.

Placements: KJ Somaiya has witnessed a large number of recruiters with a lot of offers being offered to the students. More than 220 companies have visited so far. The average package is 4 lakhs while the highest package has gone up to 7 lakhs. The students get multiple options to choose from and fulfil their dreams.

A good college with a great infrastructure.

Placements: Many good industrial, corporate, banking and financial companies visited the college. Also for a B.Com graduate, the average salary offered was between Rs. 18000 to 23000 per month. Also, many students who are pursuing chartered accountancy course were offered an articleship by CA firms.

Everything is top-notch except for the non-teaching staff.

Placements: The campus interviews for my batch will be held next year. However, I've heard that top companies like L&T do visit the campus. An elder friend of mine got a job in the campus interviews itself and he was paid an estimated of 30k a month.

Every field of courses is available here.

Placements: I am still studying, so I don't have any idea about placements as I have never experienced. But our senior colleagues have been placed in decent companies. I have not yet heard anything negative about politics involved while offering internships. Overall, the college offers good placements.

Somaiya is the best college.

Placements: There were good arrangements for the placements made by the college. There was a dedicated notice board as well as a team which used to give updates about the placement. In 2016, there were 4 to 5 organisations from which received job offers. The salary offered by the organisation was satisfactory for a B.Com degree student.

Awesome campus and placements. A very good start to build a good career.

Placements: There are various companies which come for placements in Somaiya College in search of talented candidates as it a well-reputed college of Mumbai. The students are informed in prior about the same as they may get sufficient time to prepare for the interview. The salary offered to them is reasonable and it is on the basis of the interview and their academic careers.

So my review will be absolutely satisfied with the college infrastructure, library and campus.

Placements: In our batch, there were banks and MNCs. About 30% students were placed through campus placements. The salary offered to freshers was quite good and the salary range would be starting from 14k to 20k per month for BCom graduates, which was pretty decent. Companies like TCS, ICICI, HDFC, Accenture, etc had visited for the campus placement. The roles were into back office, operations and insurance.
