Inspiring professors, vibrant campus life, ample resources ideal for growth and learning.

Placements: My course was a Bachelor of Science in IT, which is trending in these times. People are more likely to get into laptops and create their minds by making different apps and learning different languages. People are doing data science, and AI and IT offer it. The companies in which my classmates got jobs were J.P. Morgan, Wipro and high-tech companies with good salaries.

Good teachers and curriculum, could work more on the facilities for students.

Placements: Internships opportunities and Certificate courses are plenty. There are several credit courses as well, although time consuming but quite enriching. Around 85% students get internships in the final year. Around 65 % students get placed in the final year with the starting package of 3 lacs and so on.

It is the best college for graduation in Mumbai.

Placements: There is a placement cell in Sophia College, which conducts placements for the students irrespective of their fields. The top roles that were offered in these internships were mainly digital marketing, HR, and many more. A lot of well-known recruiting companies, as well as well known NGOs, visit the campus. Many graduates from our college were able to get placements in these companies. Most of them were paid internships. Placement cell is very dedicated to their work and would also be used to fo...

It is a college that builds you as a person. You can gain experiences beyond academics and grow.

Placements: In the year 2021, Sophia was considered the second-best college in Mumbai for arts. It is still one of the best. Most of the arts courses do not yield an immediate job after graduation, still, Sophia has got its placement cell that provides internship opportunities.

The college also organises industrial trips to provides first hand experience about the industry.

Placements: There is no placement cell yet in place. They are working towards having one. They've send surveys to students asking them about the kind of organisations and companies they want to have on board. However they still offer internships to some courses. I'm looking forward to what the placement cell has in store for us.

A good college for BMM with amazing faculty and well maintained infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell just started this year (2020). I can't talk about the placement cell unless it is fully established. But I'm pretty sure they will bring really good companies on board. They've started with survey on the kind of companies students are interested in. Everybody is very positive about getting placements.

Blessed to be an Alumni from Sophia College for Women.

Placements: We were exposed to visits as well as exposures to many organisations, involved with the field. It was quite enriching to move out of the college zone and learn new things. The college is also one of the best in Mumbai, which aptly reflects on one's CV.

Sophia College for Women always work towards its goals and successfully achieve it.

Placements: I did my B.A in history, and there were 30 students in our course during our tenure. To join in this course, we need to have at least a B grade in our academics. History students opted for museum work or became teachers, or most of them further opted for PG.

The college is a great in terms of most of the things.

Placements: The batch for B.A. Economics has around 80 students with 2 sections that is 40 students per section. Around 10% students were placed. The placement opportunities were not that great in the college. There were not enough companies for placements. Since, not enough companies were there so there was no knowledge of salary package. The internship opportunities were also not that good.

Beautiful, serene, calm and good faculty and fellow students. High chances of growth.

Placements: The college doesn't have a personal placement cell but they do get recruiters from out who keep visiting and taking interviews and hiring candidates. Apart from this there is a notice board in the canteen where they have all the important notices and all the vacancies and placement centre list.

Great opportunities and good college life. Balance in academics and extra curricular activities.

Placements: Placement cell is student run and mostly gives internships more than jobs. Placement has to be done by yourself. When you finish you gain a lot of experience in organising college festivals and other college events which become a huge plus point for your CV. Lots of student run initiatives to add to your CV.

Amazing faculty, and a very pleasant experience.

Placements: Our college moulds us to make us extremely fit for the industry. We are taught not only the basic requirements, but also the practical applications of our studies. Most students went forward with their education in related fields, while some got jobs. Both categories found it very easy to do so since we were well-equipped.

A complete package to look into for a bright future and a women empowered proud college.

Placements: Sophia College is vastly known for its arts courses. Science students do get placed but they opt for PG courses after UG companies like Wipro and Piramal do come for placement with packages of about 2-3 lakhs. Internships are also offered in the vacations up to 4,000-5,000 stipend. 40% of the UG students do get the jobs as others prefer doing PG courses and 80% PG students are placed as few do opt for doing PhD.
