More Placement opportunities should be Given, satisfied with the Faculty .

Placements: I am currently in my third year of B.Com. As far as I can see, good companies are coming for placements with good packages and different internship opportunities. The average package is between 2-5 LPA. Around 50-60% of students in my course got internships, and jobs are offered based on skills.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college and its best infrastructure.

Placements: The average salary package offered during campus placement was between 3.5 LPA and 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were JPMorgan, Chase, and KPMG.

This college has a really good infrastructure.

Placements: There was a good placement drive this year. The highest package offered in our course was 5-6 LPA and the average package offered in our course was 3-4 LPA. Around 50% of students got an internship in decent companies and the lowest package offered in our course was 0-1 LPA.

Satisfied with the campus life here.

Placements: About 60% of students got placed (but on their own abilities or with the help of teachers and HODs). As the students weren't placed by the college, the information about on-campus placements isn't available. Our college doesn't provide placements. Our college doesn't provide internships. Researcher and teacher roles are offered for this course.

It is a great college to study, with an added advantage of huge campus.

Placements: About 30-40% of students got placed in my course. Many students chose CA after graduation and accomplished it. The college has many optional subjects to offer like IT. Many students from my school who chose the commerce stream took admission here.

Our college has good teaching, infrastructure, and a beautiful campus.

Placements: In our course, only the top 30 of the batch got jobs through the campus placement process since the course is conducted on a part-time basis and mostly working professionals undertake this course. The leading recruiters were TCS, Godrej, HDFC Bank, and the average salary package offered was 2.75 LPA. Internships are not mandatory, however, project work is compulsory for students, and they can work on the same with their project guides. Students are expected to reach out to the companies on their...

Best life on campus and really great teaching staff.

Placements: The placements offered at the college are average and the packages are approximately Rs 2.50 Lacs per annum. The various roles that are offered are Assistant Manager, Sales Trainee. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, WNS, Tata and Reliance. Almost 40 to 50 percentage of the students in my batch were placed. Many students prefer to go for an internship in the second year, however it is not compulsory. The lowest package that was offered was Rs 1.25 Lacs per annum.

Review of K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce.

Placements: There is not much placement support provided by the college. Hardly a few companies visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. A top role offered is an assistant manager. Only 30% of the students got an internship at the campus. The majority of the students do not opt for placements as they prefer to go for further studies.

It is a wonderful college, and it provides fantastic learnings.

Placements: Almost 10-15% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 80,000 per annum. Since most of the students opt to become an accountant, they undertake internships with a firm or under private CAs. The role offered to the students is of a trainee.

Faculty is not good. I don't like the way they treat students.

Placements: Speaking of placement, ever year numbers of company come in search of new talent. The students apply and luckily many are offered with good package. The course which I am doing, there is no personal allotment of internship. If we want to apply, we have to apply in general.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the job and placement opportunities.

Placements: All the students eligible were given admission. There were no placements for the course particularly, rather they provided us with general placement where students from other fields participated too and barely 2-3% students got placements. Roles were mostly related to content creation.

This college is average for commerce students.

Placements: This college is good for such a theory-based course, along with other specialised courses to learn from. The college is good at academics. You can't expect campus interviews here.

It is a good college for students who worry about attendance.

Placements: If you are Gujarati, then the college has Gujarati quota, and the placement percentage will vary every year. When I took admission, it was a minimum of 70%. Currently, due to low results, it was 60% for Gujarat students, and 80% for non-Gujarat students. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, the average salary package offered is 2.75 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies like PWC and many banks like Yes Bank also visited for placements. In B.Com course, students...

The infrastructure, teachers, curriculum, and the campus surroundings are good here.

Placements: I don't know much about placements, but I've heard from our seniors that the placements aren't that bad. Placements in our college are good when compared to other colleges. Many of the people who are graduated from this college have only good things to say about this college whether it's regarding its placements, food or curriculum.

I'm satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placement cell is improving every year. But still, the placement opportunities were not that great this year. JP Morgan was the only big MNC that recruited candidates. Although they offer you placement opportunities, the job profiles offered are not that good. Being graduates, we were offered data entry jobs.

The college has excellent infrastructure, and you can have a great college life.

Placements: Placements in our college were below average for a few branches and average for others. Most of the students didn't opt for placements since they wanted to pursue higher studies or tried something on their own. Another thing about placements was, most of the companies that visited our campus offered only sales profile.

It is the best place to study and enjoy your college life.

Placements: The college has a well organised and managed placement cell. The cell has representatives from each class who communicates the required details to the students. The college organises a job fair where many MNCs visit and provides great opportunities for the students to get placed. The average package offered to the students is 2 to 3 LPA.

A worthy college with good campus life.

Placements: Placements in the college are less as compared to other colleges. Students search for jobs by themselves by enrolling on job portals. Although, a job fair is conducted once a year. There are chances that students can get hired by companies in this fair. There is also a placement cell in the college.

Review of K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce (KJSCAC).

Placements: The college provides good opportunities. I guess even an average student can get placed and earn much better than a top student depending on the interview. Being a commerce student, no company conducts interviews for us.
