Q:   Is B.Com at Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Placements: Around 20% or less of students get placed. The highest package is around INR 7.5 to 8 LPA, while the lowest is INR 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is HCL.

Course relevance: Some students feel that the course is not industry-ready, and the job roles offered are basic.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but students often face connectivity issues. The library is decent, and classrooms have projectors, although lectures don't utilize them fully.

Faculty: Some professors are knowledgeable and helpful, while others may not engage students much.

Scholarships and events: Scholarships are available, and the college organizes events, including anniversaries and blood donation camps.

Campus life: The college has a hostel facility, medical services, and sports and game facilities. However, the hostel conditions are basic, and the quality of food is average.

Overall, while Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College offers some positive aspects, such as scholarships and events, the lack of industry-readiness and limited placement opportunities might make it a challenging choice for students seeking career-oriented education.

I am recommending to join this college.
Placements: A maximum of 70% of people were placed. The average package was 2.5 Lacs, and the highest package was 10 Lacs. Tata, Infosys, and K Force companies are recruiting for my course. 95% of the students got the internships. According to my course, it offered maximum sales and computer-based roles.
Infrastructure: According to my opinion, my facilities were very good, and they also inspire all students with their skills. The inspiration was very useful to us, and the labs and classrooms were very good and very clean. My college labs had very good quality facilities and lab maintenance.
Faculty: My teachers were very helpful and very qualified, and their knowledge was incredible, and their teaching skills were very easy to understand for very average and poor students. That's why my college was number one in the district for very good teachers.
Other: I am choosing this course because in this course they have many knowledge and skills and also computer knowledge. Please do some extra classes for the poor students in studies. Events and fests are very good, and every month we have one.

NOT RECOMMENDED. If you just need a degree certificate, you can join.
Placements: 1) About 20% or less of students had gotten placements. 2) The highest package is around INR 7.5 to 8 LPA, and the lowest is INR 1.5 LPA. 3) HCL is the top recruiting company. 4) No one got any internships, and I had done a 3-month course in the name of an internship (mandated by the government to have one semester as an internship). That's the situation. 5) Basically, the job roles are so basic—nothing but a tier 2 degree from college.
Infrastructure: 1) It's a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, but no one has access to use it. Sometimes even lecturers face issues with the Wi-Fi connection. The library is decent; classrooms have projectors, but no lecturer uses their potential fully; they just use them for class notes. 2) There is a hostel facility, but it's very basic. The mess is in the canteen, and the food is decent. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are also available.
Faculty: 1) There are lecturers who simply point out what's in the syllabus, and there are also some lecturers who have good knowledge about their subject, so it's a 50-50. 2) No, the course offered is not industry-ready. It's just nothing but a certificate of graduation. 3) The exams are so easy that students get 60% to 80% by just studying one week before the exam. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: 1) I chose this course because I need a degree certificate in a decent course. I think there is no use in choosing this course because it's not industry-ready. 2) The course itself needs to change. 3) There are some events, like anniversaries, but, from my experience, I am saying that students are not freely allowed to enjoy the event. Students are not allowed to dance from their place (which we all do with friends). You just need to sit and see, like how Prakashraj gives a birthday surprise to Nagarjuna in the Oopiri movie. 2) Scholarships are available. 3) And sometimes there are some campaigns, such as blood donation camps and awareness rallies, that are also conducted.

A very affordable and great college.
Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed in different companies. Average package was 3.2LPA. The top companies were TCS, Infosys, Delloite etc. All the recruitment was done in the college campus itself. The students need not go anywhere to be placed in any company.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food is average. Medical facilities are available. Many types of sports and games facilities are available. This college has very huge and advanced labs and libraries. There is also a digital library in the college. Smart classroom are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in every aspect if the student is keen to learn. The exams are not as difficult as they are in other colleges. The pass percentage is 30 which is the minimum a student should score. The students are made exams ready by many revisions.
Other: The timing was perfect which was 7:30 am to 12:50 pm. There were many events organised through the NSS and NCC cadets. The male washrooms needed to be fixed. And the quality of food also needs to be upgraded. Everything else was so good in the college.

I recommend students join this college.
Placements: I think about 20-25% of students got placed when I studied in the college. Roles like tax officer, sales tax officer, and commerce-related roles are offered to the students. The starting salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. None of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not provided for students. There is a good Wi-Fi network in all the systems in the computer lab. The computer lab is good. Classrooms are also good in our college. The library is amazing, and we can find many books in the library. The library is huge. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly in nature towards students. They clarify all the doubts regarding the subject. They give some quality inputs about subjects. There are knowledgeable faculty members I have ever seen before. I can get a good percentage in semester exams because of the quality inputs of subjects, and we can get subject knowledge.
Other: I have studied commerce in intermediate, so I have chosen this course. Our college conducts events and fests. It also provides scholarships.

The college is good, and it does an excellent job in the development of students.
Placements: Up to 20-25% of students got placed. 2-3 LPA are the packages offered. Infosys, Wipro, Tata, etc., came here. Programing languages are taught here. Most of the students are interested in joining Kevin College because of its excellence and grade in NCC and NSS, and also it provides different jobs in different sectors.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Digital classrooms, the largest library and many other facilities are available. It has a digital library too. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The food is provided in the canteen for boys and girls.
Faculty: All the teachers are very good at teaching. They provide the necessary steps for us to improve ourselves. Semester exams are moderate. Each subject is for 100 marks, 75 marks for theory and 25 marks for internal. In the final exam, the pass marks are up to 30. Semester exams are held in our college only.
Other: With the help of this course, we can learn about both computers and accounts. This course includes different programming languages like Python etc. Campus surroundings are covered with plants. NSS, NCC and sports facilities are available here.

Our college is average for students who want to complete their graduation with campus placements.
Placements: Our group is popular in our college as it has the maximum strength of students our college. Recently our college conducted a campus drive, and in that, for our group, ICICI Bank came. In our group, 30% of the students got an internship. In the campus drive, the highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good, and it is located in the city, so it is easily accessible to students. Our college provides Wi-Fi, and there are a total of 6 computer labs. Each lab can easily accommodate 60 students at a time. Water is well-purified, and in summer, we can get cold water. There is a central library in our college, and we can read and can take the books home. I am not staying in the hostel as my home is near to the college. In our college, the canteen and its premises are well-maintained by management, and food is also good. Our college also conducts volleyball, basketball, cricket and games for students.
Faculty: At least 30 faculty members have done their PhD, and many are helpful. Teaching abilities are average, but they are well-qualified. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: My interests are in commerce and computers, so I have chosen B.Com computers. Faculty members need to interact more with students for better results. Every year our college conducts fests and invites chief guest every time. Campus surroundings are lush green, and our college supports scholarships, NCC, NSS and extracurricular activities.
