Good reputation, Bad geography.

Placements: Placements were decent, about 50 to 60 percent of the student got placed which can be considered as good given the geography of the institute. Most of the students got placed in IT companies which offered a package of about 3.2 Lacs. The highest package offered was 8 Lacs by Sanpdeal. Since the college is situated in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, a lot of companies don't visit the college and hence most of the students have only one offer in hand which is generally from an IT company and hence ...

The advice of an 2016 passed out Electrical Engineering from KNIT Sultanpur, now studying in IIM.

Placements: The placements in this institute suffers because of its location disadvantage. The nearest Airport is in Lucknow which takes 4 hours to travel, by road. Despite of this the mass recruiters like TCS, wipro, Infosys do visit the campus. Certain passionate companies looking for new talents prefer KNIT as their first preference. I have seen people bagging Microsoft, Schneiders, ABB, LNT form this institute only. Placements isn't 100% but satisfactorily at 50-75% of the total batch strength, dependin...

This is a government college. Placements and college environment are good.

Placements: One company named TCS visits the campus every year, and it offers placements for electronics engineering branch. Other companies like Media Tek also provide good salary packages for students. Around 20 students got placed in TCS from our batch. TCS offered a salary package of 3.2 LPA. But, the company named Media Tek offer a salary package of 6.4 LPA.

A poor college that is being sustained by its students and student bodies.

Placements: Placements in our college are poor. Mediocre companies with below average packages come to the college and pick a handful of students from CS/IT branch for their limited requirements. There's almost no scope for other branches' students. Don't join this college looking for a high package and a job. All you get is a degree.

KNIT is a good college for engineering course.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Companies like TCS, Adani Electrical, and many IT companies visit the campus for placements. The placement committee helps students to be industry ready and ready for placement drives. Salary packages offered by the companies are decent. The best thing is the ROI.

KNIT a decent place to learn.

Placements: The placements in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology are not good as it is famous for. Overall, the placement percentage is nearly 40%. Software companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus. Students of all the branches are allowed to apply for placements, but the companies only hire the students of the CS and IT branches. Other students either prepare for government jobs or exams like GATE and CAT etc.

Placements: There are placements in our college for students. A limited number of companies visit our college with TCS being the major recruiting company offering an average package of 3.3 LPA. Other companies like MediaTek, Global Logic, Amazon, etc., visit our college to hire students. You get everything in four years of your course that can make your life complete.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. The average salary package offered was 3.2 to 4.7 LPA, and the package may go up to 12 LPA. Those packages are offered by an IT company. Students of the core branches also get placed, but they do not get placed in their core companies. Students who want to get placed in the core companies should have good knowledge of coding. Off-campus placement records and positions of alumni are good.

I'm unable to judge the whole organisation in just 25 words, but I would rate 3 out of 5 for it.

Placements: This year, placements in the college are below average. From CS department, seven students got placed in TCS through code vita and more than 24 students placed in TCS through ninja hiring. In 2019, a total of 58 students from CS got placed in the college placements. From the IT department, 11 students placed in TCS through code vita and more than 18 students placed in TCS through ninja hiring. It is the best college under AKTU, with the best study environment.

Placements: The college has a good placement record. The electrical department is the best with some amazing faculty. Many students prepare for GATE and successfully get qualified. Many students opt for PSU jobs after GATE, while others go for higher studies in IITs or aboard. As electrical engineers have placement opportunities in the government sector, many students clear IES exam and join it.

KNIT is a place where you can build yourself and understand the meaning of college life.

Placements: Placements record of our college was excellent. When I was in the final year, many companies came across various segments to hire students. Nearly 75% to 80% of the students got placed through college placements. The best thing that I liked much is the nature of TPO, which always supports the students and trained them on how to interact with the interviewer and how to create a good impression.

KNIT is running mainly because of it's students.

Placements: This academic year the placement was good. Companies like Airtel, Globalogic, TCS, Adobe and some others visited the college. These companies recruited through on-campus. Some students recruited through codevita and are given good package by TCS. Airtel recently visited the college and selected 4 students of CS IT at a package of nearly 7.5 LPA. The placement graph was somewhat not better than last year as companies like Mediatek didn't showed interest but new companies like Airtel came.

Placements: The placements for CS and IT branches are very good. The placements for the students of EC depend on them whether they go for placements or GATE. Most of the students got placed in TCS. For placements, you have to learn other skills which are required or mandatory. Placements are affected a lot because of the area like Sultanpur.
