Placements: The placements in college are average. About 80% of the students got placed during my course time. All the students became a part of renowned organisations, and the salary packages offered were up to the mark as per our expectations. As compared to the previous batches, placements of our batch were very well-organised.
Placements: Placements offered by our college are very good and are very helpful to students. A person can make his career bright with the placements offered by the college. I also aspire for placements that our college offers. Overall, the placements offered by the college are useful.
Placements: Unfortunately, not even a single company visited our campus to recruit the students of our batch. We had to go for walk-in drives of many companies. But, the professors were very helpful in this case. They referred the students who failed to secure a job, to companies through their contacts. Only two companies had visited the campus to offer placements to the previous batch.
Placements: There are no provisions for placements as far as I know. But, the college is very helpful for the students who want to do the internship in their respective fields. Also, the college provides the opportunities for those students who want to get a glimpse outside world through the student exchange programme. Many students from Germany are currently studying in our college.
Placements: There is a well networked placement cell in the self financing department and students are exposed to different seminars and training sessions to clear interviews and different rounds of the placement process. A lot of good companies and banks come to our college for placements. Eg: TCS, Barclays, Eclux, JP Morgan, TJSB etc. The highest package offered last year to a BAF graduate was RS 30000/month by Barclays.
Placements: I did not attend the placement drives, but a lot of corporate giants visited our college to offer placements. The salary offered was nearly 3-3.5 Lacs CTC. The recruitment was mainly for the accounts department, tours and travels, human resource management etc. Almost 70% of the students attended the placements, and most of them got placed.
Placements: There are no campus placements for the department of biotechnology. As a result students had to apply from other sources for jobs or for obtaining hands on training. Though there is a placement cell, it may be for other departments / fields. No information is given on future job opportunities.
Placements: Placements take place for the students of B.sc IT. Well-reputed companies come for placements and students having 55% or above can apply for placements. The companies offer various job profiles in various fields. The placement cell in the college is very helpful to the students.
Placements: I wanted to become an IAS officer, so I have chosen VG Vaze College. The college gives us more knowledge about new things or subjects. The fee is very low so that everyone can be a part of this greatest college. They don't show caste discrimination.
Placements: The placements were good this year. My seniors got placements in Barclay's and Eclux. (BBI and BAF) The highest package offered was Rs 20000 (Barclay's) There are various rounds in the interview which the candidates are supposed to clear. There's one regarding the current affairs.
Placements: In campus placements are not available. You have to hunt for jobs or research work outside. But yes you can apply for projects in college itself. Also in college while during practicals teachers don't support enough. You have to do everything mostly on your own. Labs don't have good microscopes, kits required for practicals. So most of days we wait for kits to come. Also we remain little confused as applications are not explained properly. Hence have difficult time hunting jobs.
Placements: The placements were arranged very much systematically and there was no problem for me to get through the process. Also, the campus interviews are athe major source of some of the students income and many talented students are given opportunities to explore! Many big companies like TCS, Wipro, WnS, etc. Come in Kelkar College for execution. About 40% students are selected in personal interviews. The placement cell is indeed very useful. The minimum package offered is ?16,000/-.
Placements: Placements are awesome with somepretty packages. The companies that come for placement offers a good profile job. Placements cell of college do great job for the students and teacher committees are also supporting about this thing. WNS, TCS Sutherland, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance such companies make visit in college for placement.
Placements: My experience of campus has been very interesting as I was placed in first 10 days of the season and I was also working full time The ratio of girls over boys is too much, I don't know about other things but I like the placement in the college and like the Atmosphere.
Placements: The placements for our batch were pretty moderate as all the companies that came in were looking for students who are interested in working. The BPO companies want the students to sign 2 years bond. Last year's scenario was the same hence the percentage was low, i.e., 10%.
Placements: College conducted a placement programme in which students can enrol themselves by paying Rs. 100 and they were entitled to sit for PI. Mostly, B.Com graduates get their starting pay from Rs. 7,000 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month, depending upon their capabilities, other curricular activities and accounting knowledge level. You will never hear big names like Tata and Reliance because it is B.Com. They won't come to colleges to employ an accountant. Mostly, midsize companies or upper midsize com...
Placements: Many companies came for placement like TCS, Accenture, etc. All the companies are offering different salaries and incentives. The highest salary was offered by Barkless company and the lowest by Accenture. The lowest is Rs. 14,000 and the highest package is Rs. 25,000 per month. The roles of each and every company were different. I got selected in TCS with a salary package of Rs. 16,250 per month. It really helps me and gave a chance to work with such a reputed company, TCS.
Placements: The placement department of the Kelkar college was terrific since it had given me a lot of opportunities and exposure to the outside world. Many seminars and workshops were conducted to improve our personality. Such development courses help the students to be cognitive, logical and attitudinal behaviours. Hence, the work of placement department is perfect.
Placements: The placements opportunity is not great. For a plain commerce graduate, you get placement options only in BPO companies. You have to be completed a specialised course to get into good companies. And the rate of people being hired is also not that great. The companies like JP Morgan, TCS, came during my year.
Placements: There are great placement procedures with great opportunities offered during placements. All the students are considered to be equal, and with marks, their credibility is also considered. Along with the companies, college also builds confidence among students during placement.
