Placements: The placements were great, one of my friends was hired by Colgate for a finance-related job, another one for HDFC Securities. HR Manager and Researcher were the top roles I can recall. I can't recall the percent of students who got internships. It differed from course to course.
Placements: The placement opportunities generally seem to be quite promising, although it can vary from year to year. A few students secure jobs through campus placements while some might get offers from companies directly. Overall, it seems fair to say that the college provides a decent platform for placements.
Placements: I am in my second year of course. So I don't know much about the placements. But our teachers have told us that a lot of big companies like Deloitte, Colgate, and Asian Paints come for recruitment in our college. The college does not provide any internships, but they help regarding any internship query, and they give attendance compensation as well.
Placements: In our batch, approximately 40% of the students were placed. The highest package offered in our batch for this course was 9 LPA. The average offered package was 3-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course were Suma, Tata, Bajaj, etc. Various internship opportunities were given to the students.
Placements: As I am in my second year, I don't know much about placements. Seniors in our course got 30 hours of internships in an NGO to get hands-on experience. Placements provided for self-financing courses are very good. Some of our friends are working under renowned chartered accountants from their second year as an intern to get exposure and build their resumes.
Placements: The roles offered were basic accounting and finance roles and working on back end. The special thing was we got the opportunity that Colgate and various other big industries came to hire for basic roles of accounts, internal controls, risk management, etc.
Placements: I'm still not a graduate but the college always announces good and skillful programs to improve the skills of the students. This year they conducted an extra credit course for critical thinking and problem solving, and they all are self-financed courses. The Winter internships are offered.
Placements: Unfortunately, placements were not conducted by our college, even for final year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. However, from the year 2020, our college has been granted autonomy by the University of Mumbai. It is assured by the principal to conduct placements from this academic year among all faculty members. More than 40% of students had some internships in good biopharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including the scientific research centre (SRC), which focuses on ...
Placements: My passing year is 2020. Our college provides all courses. Almost 60 to 70% of the students got an internship from the course. The course makes students get a job properly. So you can prefer our college to get a better study and to enter in different industries.
Placements: For professional B.Com courses like accounting, finance, banking and insurance, there are good companies for placements, but they hardly take 1-2 students who have performed well in their academics. There are no placements for regular B.Com course.
Placements: As far as the placements for the students of the B.Com course are concerned, they can expect a starting salary ranged between Rs. 8,000-16,000 per month. Placements were pretty decent for the students who are pursuing a normal B.Com degree. The lowest salary offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 27,000 per month for a B.Com graduate.
Placements: Placements for the B.Com students were okay. Companies like TCS visited our college for recruitment. They offered a salary of around Rs. 11,000 per month. Companies like WNS also offered salaries similar to TCS. Many students applied for placements and got placed. Kotak also visited our college and offered a salary package of around 4.50 LPA for our senior batch.
Placements: There is a well networked placement cell in the self financing department and students are exposed to different seminars and training sessions to clear interviews and different rounds of the placement process. A lot of good companies and banks come to our college for placements. Eg: TCS, Barclays, Eclux, JP Morgan, TJSB etc. The highest package offered last year to a BAF graduate was RS 30000/month by Barclays.
Placements: I wanted to become an IAS officer, so I have chosen VG Vaze College. The college gives us more knowledge about new things or subjects. The fee is very low so that everyone can be a part of this greatest college. They don't show caste discrimination.
Placements: The placements were good this year. My seniors got placements in Barclay's and Eclux. (BBI and BAF) The highest package offered was Rs 20000 (Barclay's) There are various rounds in the interview which the candidates are supposed to clear. There's one regarding the current affairs.
Placements: The placements for our batch were pretty moderate as all the companies that came in were looking for students who are interested in working. The BPO companies want the students to sign 2 years bond. Last year's scenario was the same hence the percentage was low, i.e., 10%.
Placements: College conducted a placement programme in which students can enrol themselves by paying Rs. 100 and they were entitled to sit for PI. Mostly, B.Com graduates get their starting pay from Rs. 7,000 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month, depending upon their capabilities, other curricular activities and accounting knowledge level. You will never hear big names like Tata and Reliance because it is B.Com. They won't come to colleges to employ an accountant. Mostly, midsize companies or upper midsize com...
Placements: The placements opportunity is not great. For a plain commerce graduate, you get placement options only in BPO companies. You have to be completed a specialised course to get into good companies. And the rate of people being hired is also not that great. The companies like JP Morgan, TCS, came during my year.
