Review of KG College of Arts and Science (KGCAS).
Placements: Maximum 80% of our students got placed in the top-most companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and Byju's. The maximum salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. Roles of associate software engineer, software engineer and project manager, project engineer, and scholar trainee, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: We got all the facilities like Wi-Fi, practical labs, more classrooms and a library to gain more knowledge. Hostel is also good and a fair amount is charges for the hostel. They serve good food at canteen mess. We have our medical college inside our campus and will be given immediate first aid for any issues and also got facilities for sports and games.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good enough to give the knowledge that they gained to the students. I will give the rating of 8/10. The course curriculum is relevant to the work and it also makes students industry-ready. According to the semester exams, it is easy when we study the key concepts of the courses, and the pass percentage is 40/100, i. e, 10/30 for internal and 30/70 for external.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to join the IT field and this is the easiest course in computer science. We got more events and also got the opportunity for providing out extra-curricular activities.

It is a good college in terms of infrastructure, and it promotes industry-academic interface.
Placements: In our batch, nearly 95% of students got placed in good companies, which offered salary packages from 2-4 LPA. Many companies came here for placements, like Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. 90% of students got internships in IT companies. More students are offered the role of programmer in IT companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are neat and clean. The labs are well-equipped with computers. The library has many course-related books and also books to improve our knowledge. Wi-Fi facilities are only available for labs and staff and only for systems purposes. Our college has separate hostels for both boys and girls, and the quality of food is average. KG has also been established in hospital industries, so medical facilities are available all the time. In emergency cases, ambulance services are available. To encourage sports, our college has a huge ground to conduct almost all the games.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced and professional. The teachers are very friendly, and the teaching quality is good. They have the ability to solve the doubts related to subjects. The teachers are knowledgeable and teach us not only books but also explain things about the industry. It improves students to learn and solve industry-related problems.
Other: I chose this course to work in the IT sector and to become a good programming designer. The course has many programming languages, used for improving our knowledge to work in the IT sector. Our college has conducted many industry-related competitions, and students from other colleges also participated and won prizes. Hackathon is conducted to execute students' knowledge.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: I graduated from KG College of Arts and Science in 2019. The highest salary offered was INR 40,000 per month, and the lowest was INR 13,000 per month. The top recruiters were Amazon, Deloitte, Cognizant, IBM, and Infosys. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to do an internship.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs were okay but not the best. The college infrastructure was not creative, but it was still somewhat good. The library was completely outdated, and the people who worked there didn't seem to know what was going on. The hostel, food, sports, and games were the worst aspects of the college and need great improvement.
Faculty: The teachers were friendly but not knowledgeable enough to handle the subject matter. They needed more training and fluency in English to conduct classes effectively. Semester exams seemed difficult because of the quality of instruction we received in class. If the teachers were more knowledgeable, the exams would have been easier.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be good at IT. The course provides a good foundation for entering the world of IT. However, the food, campus appearance, and staff knowledge could be improved.

I am happy with all the faculty members, placements and friendly environment.
Placements: Almost 97% of the students in our college are getting placed. The highest salary offered for freshers is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. Companies like TCS, CTS, Capgemini, Soori, etc., are the top recruiters for our course. Top roles offered in our course are software analyst, tester, technical support and leading roles in an organisation.
Infrastructure: Our college has a modern lab system and facilities like libraries and solar-powered classrooms which will never have power problems. All the facilities such as a hostel, buses and campus are clean, and there is a nursing block. Hospital facilities are available inside the campus. Our college has the best sports team and supportive faculty members.
Faculty: The best thing which I like about our college is very kind teachers. Staff members will be very helpful and very knowledgeable. Teachers in all departments are very knowledgeable, and they think that studies are not only a major part of students life.
Other: BCA degree has a special opportunity in IT companies as it never comes under B.Sc category.

Our college has very good infrastructure and there are many IT companies nearby.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed on our course. Many companies visited the campus to hire students. The management gave good placement training which was very helpful. It is a good college for bright students.
Infrastructure: Our college provided good infrastructure, environment and facilities. Wi-Fi was provided to students. There were clean bathrooms, and the campus was well-maintained. There were a good security and surveillance facility. It is the best college in Coimbatore. Sports were also given importance.
Faculty: Teaching on our campus was good, and I can give 10 out of 10. Faculty members were good and friendly with students. They also took extra add on classes which were very useful for all the students. We had a comfortable studying system, and practicals classes were also held. In this course, I learned many things.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in programming.
