In our college, the teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified in their own subjects.
Placements: Since it is a Government College, there are no placements provided. But hard work always plays off and every degree has some value. On a positive note, there are several courses provided throughout the three/four years for the students to develop various skills.
Infrastructure: The college has a total of 2 main buildings: 1 canteen building and 1 hostel building within the college area. The college atmosphere is perfect for studying. They have a library on the 2nd floor full of informative books, and the librarian is good too; they are smooth with their work. There is a big playground and 3 beautiful garden within the college area, and gym is also available for girls and boys in separate rooms and a computer lab. There is also an auditorium hall with good facilities and a canteen with good food. Annual sports happen every year. Overall, its a friendly campus.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful in our department. Most of them were good at explaining our text and analyzing it. 85% of people passed in the last exam in our department. Semester exams are not too difficult if
you study properly. It really depends on the teacher. I will say 90% of the teachers were very inspiring; they guided us skillfully, but some are laid back too.

The campus is huge, and it is planned in a way to promote extracurricular activities.
Placements: The placement process is easy and pleasant for every student on campus. Many opportunities are provided to students from time to time. The quality of placements is excellent. The college placement cell invites companies to college. Many students got placed on campus, and others are doing very well on their own.
Infrastructure: It is the best college located in Khatra. The washrooms and canteen are clean. The teachers are well-talented and friendly. A gym, cricket and volleyball grounds are available. Students can go outside for fun. The hostel facility is good. All types of amusement are available. Teachers encourage the students well.
Faculty: The topics taught here are easy to understand. Every subject is explained clearly by our professors. Once a week, we get our notes from our student forum. This course is relevant. The curriculum is updated regularly. Recent developments in the field are acquired by the committed to ensure updated knowledge.
Other: In my opinion, campus life is very good. We can enjoy a lot. It is really blissful to be here with such a good crowd. If you are here, you can make friends for life, and they will support you in everything.

Good College for rural region.
Placements: I was admitted in the college in B.A. gen course in the session 2017-2020. The college is situated in the rural areas of Bankura district almost 50 km's from Bankura in Khatra division. Since most students come from rural areas the college is not known for any placements as such. There is no company that visits the campus for recruiting candidates even the students from Science stream remains unplaced.
Infrastructure: I believe since the inception of the college there is no such development done in terms of infrastructure. There is an old administrative building and even the classes of my batch were held in such damp and dark classes that are in extremely bad condition. Few departments have the Wi-fi facility while the campus is not having any free internet services. There is an old library where most of the books are too old and outdated.
Faculty: So, coming to the faculty part which I think is the worst in the college most of the teachers did not take classes and only 2-3 in my department used to take regular classes with most part of the daily routine being off. Talking about curriculum it is based on Burdwan university's general curriculum which I personally think is not what colleges in other parts of the country focuses upon. Examinations are held once in a while for example whilw I was there we had 2 internals and a final semester paper which was an easy to moderate kind of paper with most questions being repeated from the previous years papers.
Other: The college is a government owned college and since it is situated in the rural area it lacks many resources but still I think this college acts as a boon for many students who cannot afford big universities. Recently the college is witnessing huge spurge in number of girl candidates and I think this is remarkable in terms of the socio economic conditions of the place.

The teachers are very helpful. They always clear our doubts.
Placements: They don't offer any placements, but they do some online and offline classes at RICE institutions. I passed out in 2023, and I am a BA with honors in English graduate from here. Most of the faculty members are awesome, though. They encourage us a lot and suggest what we should do after graduation.
Infrastructure: I have taken the Zoology course BSc degree to complete my graduation. The reason I selected this course is that I am a Science student and I like animals and Biology the most, so I chose this course. Faculty members available here include a cafeteria, gym, playground, refrigerated water, classrooms with projectors, library, generator, hostel, laboratory, and cycle stand. A common scholarship is given here for poor students, which is SVMCM.
Faculty: All 12th-grade students are eligible to apply for this course, but that does not mean they will get admission. To get admission here, students have to pass a test taken by the college. Students have to study topics for the course in which they have enrolled, and if they are qualified, students will get admission. Application forms can be found on the college website. Application fees and all important dates are mentioned there or in our email. No, there are no reserved seats. Exams are not too tough or easy, students have to study to qualify.
Other: My love for English literature has been constant since my childhood, that's why I chose this course, and I initially chose this college for its calm environment. Occasionally, some functions happened in our department that made our bond strong, and we also enjoyed other functions in college like social, Teacher's Day, etc.
