Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Can I join KIIT School of Law directly?

A:

Yes, you can join KIIT School of Law directly if you have completed your 12th standard with a minimum percentage of 55% in aggregate from a recognised board. You can also join if you have completed an equivalent degree recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Here are the eligibility criteria for admission to KIIT School of Law:

  • Minimum percentage: 55% in aggregate in 12th standard from a recognised board or equivalent degree recognised by the UGC.
  • Entrance exam: You will also need to qualify the KIIT Law Aptitude Test (KLAT) conducted by KIIT University. The KLAT is a national level entrance exam for admission to the undergraduate law programs offered by KIIT School of Law.

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for admission to KIIT School of Law online or offline. The application process typically opens in the month of March and closes in the month of May.

Q:   Which entrance exam scores does KIIT School of Law accept for admission to LLM?

A:

Admissions to KIIT Law School are facilitated through the KLSAT (KIIT Law School Admission Test), a comprehensive All India common test typically held in May. This standardized examination serves as a pivotal criterion for evaluating prospective students seeking entry into the law school.

A fundamental prerequisite for eligibility is the successful completion of the 10+2 or an equivalent examination, wherein candidates are required to attain a minimum of 50% marks. This academic benchmark underscores the institution's commitment to admitting students who have demonstrated a certain level of scholastic proficiency.

The KLSAT, with its nationwide reach, plays a crucial role in assessing candidates' aptitude for legal studies. Beyond academic performance, this test aims to gauge analytical and reasoning skills, essential for success in the field of law.

The selection process, therefore, is holistic, considering both academic achievements and performance in the KLSAT. This approach aligns with the institution's commitment to nurturing well-rounded legal professionals equipped not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the practical and analytical acumen required in the dynamic legal landscape.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to prepare diligently for the KLSAT, recognizing its significance in the admission process, and to ensure they meet the academic criteria, thus positioning themselves for a successful entry into KIIT Law School.

The KIITEE, on the other hand, is an entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate engineering and technology programs offered by KIIT University. It is not designed to assess the candidate's aptitude for legal studies.

Friendly and supporting teachers with modern style classrooms.
Placements: All in approximately 80-90% gets placed every year. Now it's a subject to from where training and placement bring the last firm. To salary queries again depend on the law firm how much to pay and have adhering to their policy. Mostly the highest paid is done by many reputed and renowned law firm like IFCL, IOCL and many law firm like Khaitan & co, Fox mandal etc. Mostly trichur from our college. Now in regards to internship college give a free will to choose any tier-1/2/3 law firm depending upon the course and year in which one is studying.
Infrastructure: KSOl is bounded with many beautiful trees. And having a good parking lot for keeping personal vehicle. The college is too way modernity style with classroom centric AC with projector and easy accessibility to teacher for effective learning and teaching process. Hostel are also very good and separate hostel are there. Sanitation is well maintained. Proper policy and rules are followed in hostel and it's not at all too way stricter or ragging aren't allowed. It's complete friendly atmosphere. Outside a small cafe is there were u can manage to chill out with friends or for discussion. And hostel food is somehow manageable and it's subjective. Library is fully equipped with books with updated version and many rules are strictly adhere to issue of a book. Wi-fi is also available and works heavily and speedily during night.
Faculty: Teachers, they are friendly and of supporting nature. College also assigns some mentor for particular bunch of students where any problems can directly contact them to resolve. The teachers are highly qualified and well knowledgeable person. It's really a good chance for those who really wants to talk and looking for something else to do.
Other: Okay so I am from science background in my higher secondary level but I choose an art subject "law" because firstly I love talking a lot and play with words. Secondly is one must really need to know at what point of time one should be right or wrong. I feel myself much expressive and fight and deal with many situations. Good communication skills is all you need. I would say one thing needed although law sector is good but one thing is when we read theory it is completely different from the reality practice. So yes I needed something is meant to be done practically. Even we celebrate KARVAAN every year but due to covid college was directed to stop. But yes the 3-day gala event organised by the 4th yeas is really awesome.

We have our own fitness centre. We have different societies and groups to perform different activities for the betterment of students.
